The first time someone suggested this to me, I was reluctant to watch it, I was not sure if the video would live to the hype they had created, then I watched in silence, taken aback by the rapping skills in the song.
Let me me teach you sociology for a moment, did you know that the Maasai’s are one of the ethnic groups that put us on the map as authentic Africans? Okay, Probably that’s not sociology, but you seriously need to give this song an ear!!
Sang in a beautiful variation of Swahili and Accented with heavy Maasai, this has to be the best Gospel song of 2014! Shout out to Shengena Gospel Panorama for this awesome video “Simu Ya Mukono”
I know you will agree with me on this one
here is the video:

Yesterday saw another celebrity rub shoulders with the authorities in Naivasha, after what the celebrity termed as refusing to give a bribe to the police officers for tinting the windows of his car.
Less than two months ago, Dance Hall singer Redsan spent a night in Kilimani Police station after he was suspected to be a terrorist. Everybody, include myself, blasted the officers and the government in general without necessarily establishing the reason behind the arrest.
This was because we believed in Redsan’s story to an extent that we could not listen to the government side of the story. That is how Kenyans are anyway.
After Redsan’s incident, Avril was also summoned to a police station, though not because she had committed a crime but to record a statement after her imposter was nabbed.
And now the attention has shifted to DJ MO.
Yesterday, photos of an altercation between the DJ and police officers went viral on social media. The captions that followed them said that DJ MO was being harassed after he refused to give the police what they had asked for: a bribe.
Everybody was raged at the fact that the DJ was being pulled up and down by police officers for refusing to part with kitu kidogo. That is the story the DJ gave. His wife, singer Size 8 watched and was busy taking photos from a distance. That is the story they gave.
We believed it as usual. We condemned the officers as usual. We ranted as usual. We called names as usual.
That is where my worry arises from. I personally hate police officers harassing suspects whenever they apprehend them. That is weird to say the least. The photos I saw exactly revealed that there was an altercation between DJ MO and the karaus. That was so uncalled for. So bad. Condemnable. Appalling.
The kerfuffle that ensued is what DJ MO says his refusal to bribe the officers for tinting his car. Well, how true that is I can’t tell for now but what has appalled me is this trend Kenyans are used to. They easily and quickly believe whatever a celebrity says, jump to conclusions and make severe judgements.
The officers in Naivasha have been bashed, abused and tainted in equal measure for what we believe is asking for a bribe from the renowned DJ. Their photos are going viral all over. They are being criminalised, thanks to DJ MO’s story.
Well, that is the sad part of the story. How we came to the conclusion that the officers asked for a bribe from the DJ just because he made us believe so is pathetic.
Don’t you think it is time we waited for both sides of the story before we jumped into dangerous conclusions? Don’t you think we need to listen to both parties before we criminalise one part and glorify the other?
That is the bitter truth we do not want to hear.
News just in is that Radio Africa is venturing into vernacular radio stations segment.
The media house is about to launch not one but two vernacular radio stations. One, Kikuyu, the other LuoWhile the Luo radio station is still in the pipeline, the plans to launch the Kikuyu one are at an advanced stage.
In fact, RAG has already set it eyes on poaching the most influential radio hosts from Inooro and Kameme radio stations.

One of those set to depart from Kameme is a high profile radio production guy at Mediamax. The targeted radio hosts are yet to be identified but its a known fact at Mediamax that RAG is going for the kill.
This comes at a time when Kameme has lost the top spot to Inooro for the top Kikuyu radio station according to the latest KARF report.
Moving into the vernacular section will put Radio Africa at a great position to compete with the likes of Royal Media who have established successful vernacular stations.
We all watched in horror as an 18-month-old baby named Arnella Kamanzi was tortured cruelly in a video that circulated on social media.
The young one was slapped severally by 22 year old Jolly Tumuhirwe who flung her on the floor like a rag doll, beat her with a flashlight and stepped on her.
This video has caused an outrage all over the continent and beyond with many becoming absolutely horrified by Jolly’s cruelty on the infant. News reaching us courtesy of NTV Uganda is that the beautiful baby is now doing well and her body has recovered from the traumatizing event. This comes as a relief to many as rumors were already circulating that the baby had passed away.
The maid due to just how insane she looked in the video was subjected to medical tests and was shockingly sane. Yes! That fiend that was flinging the hapless baby across the floor is actually not bat sh** crazy!

Plenty of Kenyan socialites have tried to have ago at TV Shows among them Vera Sidika but none of them has ever made it to the screens.
For some it was a problem with production costs for others it was failure to agree on just how much the hosts should be paid.
But the failure of her predecessors has not deterred Corazon from pursuing a career on TV as a host. Corazon’s fans will be pleased to know that the bootylicious babe will be hitting our screens in a show named ‘Choices’ on Ebru TV.

From the trailer, the show looks like a fusion of Tujuane and the Bachelor/Bachelorette where, a guy /girl goes on multiple dates then gets to choose the one that tickles their fancy.
We spoke to the producer of the show to find out when we should expect the show to air. He said that the show is still in the works they have not confirmed when it will go on air. Meanwhile you can watch the trailer below:

Kenyan artists have all the reasons to smile big, a new TV program is set to give them 100% focus on their content.
It is good news to Kenyan musicians who have been whining for a long time about being sidelined by the media in favor of foreign content. This is after Kay B, a musician who is also a vernacular radio presenter in one of the leading stations in Kenya, caught the eyes of Fountain Media’s ‘W TV’ headed by Johnson Mwakazi with his new program Vipaji Kenya.

This is a show that is meant to give 100% focus on Kenyan content as it promotes various talents in music, dancing; modeling, poetry, comedy and the general arts.
“When I released my single Binti Bikira early this year, and spent considerable amount of money to do a good video, I had a lot of hope that my music was going to take me places. But unfortunately I got a rude shock when I came face to face with an industry that was not keen on promoting Kenyan music especially from starters without compromise. I faced many challenges getting airplay till I gave up and withheld even my video from circulation. I later realized that Kenyan musicians depend solely in one show, one radio station and one television show to make it” Says Kay B.
Down is the trailer of the program:

Yesterday we broke the news that DJ Mo had been arrested. This was after he refused to ‘nunua Chai’ after some police found him with tinted windows on his car.
He stoically refused to bribe the as even the bible condemns bribery and he is a Christian. The policemen were not too pleased by his attitude towards bribery and that was when he was huddled into a van after being severely harassed and taken to Naivasha Police Post.
The identity of one of the policemen involved in the unlawful act has been revealed.

Social media Bigwig Xtian Dela took to social media to condemn this act:
What a SHAME!! It’s such kind of police officers who should be dealt with appropriately!!! They shame and bring down the respect of our police service. Can someone help me shame this cop badge number #73803. Can someone please connect me with authorities that deal with police misconduct. It’s sad that a lot of motorists have to go through this on daily basis. We MUST put and end to this today!!! Am very sorry bro that you had to go through this.
We got an exclusive interview with the Fashionista yesterday, Lilian Muli, who wore an elegant black body con, a salacious reminder that women should be allowed to wear what they deem as appropriate.
The event was the PRISK dinner that saw the re-branding of PRISK, Performers Rights Society Of Kenya. Long story, the shorter version is what Lilian Muli would tell us.
“Let the women be, let the girls wear what they want, people should respect each other regradless of the gender, while at it, women should keep it decent too. Lilian Host’s a fashion police like program on citizen Tv, a program that weighs the pros and cons of fashion alongside the avant garde of the fashion world, Annabel Onyango, a stylist par excellence, and Carol Odero, the Editor, Drum magazine.
This comes weeks after the mass hysteria that saw a section of Kenyan men stripping women in the streets, citing indecency.
Here is the Video from our Interview.

The money she has consistently lost to Maina Kageni is enough to convince Carol Radull she shouldn’t be gambling with her cash again.
Poor Carol Radull should have known better by now she can never win a bet against Maina Kageni with all the odds against her. Was she expecting a miracle or something? The bet was for Manchester United vs Arsenal game which was played over the weekend on Saturday.
Early today on Classic FM, Maina revealed Carol had given him the cash, in case you forgot or you didn’t know, the mighty Manchester United humbled Arsenal with a convincing 2-1 defeat to continue with the long tradition of walking over Arsenal.

With all the statistics strongly implying Arsenal defeating Man United was like sending man to planet Mars, Radull still had a speck of hope for her team to win and she went on to bet her money on the game thinking her team had the upper hand. She was disappointed by the humiliating defeat on their home turf and she had to part way with Ksh 5,000 which Maina proudly pocketed.
Sorry Radull! Manchester United is just the better team, you should know that by now.
Legendary roots maestro Bob Marley’s kin recently released a brand of Marijuana drink named after the late Jamaican king of Reggae music. That, though, does not mean that Marijuana has been legalised all over the globe. That is in Jamaica.
In Kenya, Bangi and Marijuana are among the most illegal drugs that can land someone in dire trouble if found to be a user or a dealer in the same.
However, controversial socialite Pendo is the latest celebrity that is likely to send severe shock waves down the spines of the public and the authorities after she admitted on camera that she is a dire smoker of bangi.
To be precise, Pendo admitted to Ghafla that she is smoking bangi from Kibera! Yeah, Kibera is the place.
Pendo was spotted in one of the food joints in uptown Nairobi where she looked like a zombie; with pale, tomato-red eyes.
Indeed she looked high on drugs and this prompted our insider to directly ask her what she was up to.
All this comes after she is rumoured to have engaged to a rich Congolese man who has changed her life in ways she cannot imagine.
Well You can take Pendo out of the ghetto but you cannot take the ghetto out of Pendo.
Here is the video where she confessed:
Singer Nameless has been in the music industry for long, very long indeed. In his glittering music career, he has done great artistic works that have catapulted him to greater heights and to fame in the world of singing.
This perhaps is the reason why Wahu’s husband has taken the initiative to tour the world, to show his gratitude to the loyal fans who have followed his music faithfully.
Ghafla Kenya revealed that Nameless will be flying to the US for a thanksgiving show but did not reveal what the thanksgiving was for.
Now it is evident that the singer will be in Boston this Wednesday for what he says is a thanksgiving show for his fans who have remained loyal to his music.
However, why Nameless opted to start his thanksgiving abroad and the reasons for the thanksgiving are not clear.
Could it be that the musician is calling it a day on his music career. We hope not.
“Been a really long while,6 years precisely since was last in Boston. Will be there this Wednesday my good people. Atlanta be ready, will be with you on Thursday. #NamelessThanksgivingTour”
The Year is coming to a close. And in less than 5 weeks now,We shall be ushering in the New Year. Year 2015! Hooooray! But wait,Who made it to the top of the Year’s Annual checklist?? And who didn’t?? FIND OUT.
Person Of The Year is a title I have shamelessly borrowed from the titanic TIME MAGAZINE. TIME chronicles any given Year’s largest stories, events, news makers and personalities and does a poll(sometimes) or simply sits down and decides who takes the Ultimate Person of the Year Crown.
Person of the Year (formerly Man of the Year) is an annual issue of the United States news magazine Time that features and profiles a person, group, idea or object that “for better or for worse…has done the most to influence the events of the year”.
And locally,We have our own People Of The Year too. People who have stood out in the Country for their news making exploits, achievements, views, innovations, declarations and antics, too. People who have influenced Kenyans in one way or another…People who have shocked us,entertained us,outraged us,kept us glued to our TV screens and mobile phones, outraged us,blessed us and even disgusted us. Today,as the Month of November closes and the festive Month of December beckons,We profile the Best Of The Best…Those who stood out,for better or for Worse.
NB: I will limit My use of Photos in this Article. Will use them ONLY when I deem it necessary.

1. ROOKIE OF THE YEAR.
A Rookie is a bubbling-under performer or artist or personality whose talents and gifts(In any given field) are starting to be noticed or have already been noticed in a big way….And this Year, the Crown for Rookie Of The Year goes to some Young Kenyan girl whose writing skills have gotten her noticed globally. Even winning thE coveted Caine Prize For African Writing…Beating Out big African Writers. Our Rookie of the Year is none other than the beautiful and comely,Okwiri Oduor. Previous winners include Nigeria’s Tope Folarin in 2013 and Zimbabwe’s NoViolet Bulawayo in 2011. If Nigeria’s Chimamanda Ngozi is the female version of Chinua Achebe, then Okwiri Oduor is the female version of Ngugi Wa Thiong’o. Go,Go Girl!

2.SMILE OF THE YEAR.
A smile is a powerful thing…Able to stop wars, calm crying babies, sedate the sick and lighten up any gloomy day. And while Kenya is endowed with thousands of the best and sweetest smiles ever seen,Only ONE SMILE stands out from the rest…A smile that bewitches, enchants, captivates and enthralls. And that sweet title goes to none other than Fashionista Sharon Mundia,of This Is Ess blog. God,This smile can kill! Damn!
3. STORY OF THE YEAR
Vera Sidika’s appearance on popular TV tabloid show #TheTrend shook the Nation. Why?? Well, the whole Bleaching Beauty furore. After that iconic #Thetrend interview with Larry Madowo, the topic of Bleaching and whatnot spread across the Country like bush fire…And,ultimately, across the whole WORLD! Vera was now a tabloid topic across ALL World blogs,Radio and Television stations including Nigeria’s Linda Ikeji,Washington Post,CNN,BBC,Aljazeera everywhere! Phew! And what else?? She trended on Twitter for close to 2 weeks! Jesus Christ! Too much publicity for one person!
4. SONG OF THE YEAR.
Sauti Sol’s Sura Yako. No arguments about that. Got a complaint?? Raise it up with Your local Chief.

5.MEDIA PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR.
Given the huuuuuuge popularity of his super-huge TV show,#TheTrend,Larrry Madowo easily takes this one. Not exactly everyone’s cup of tea,Larry is loved an loathed in equal measure. Much like his virtual girlfriend, the puissant Caroline Mutoko. With a smile as infectious as his and a voice as golden as Ted William’s,Larry easily trounces any other media personality to easily and effortlessly bag the Media Personality of The Year title.
6. BLOG ARTICLES OF THE YEAR.
There are a few contenders in the race here…Silas Nyanchwani’s Mukimo article,Cabu Gah’s Masaku 7s twin articles,Biko Zulu’s British Visa article and Njoki Chege’s Why Men Cheat Article. All of the 4 Writers ultimately ended up on Larry Madowo’s show THE TREND to discuss their articles and the impact they had had on the general public. Njoki Chege’s Why Men Cheat, however, takes the crown on this one. Hands down. That article shook the nation. In stupendous ways.
7. SHOCK OF THE YEAR.
When eccentric Writer Binyavanga Wainaina decided to come out…And publicly announce his sexuality,Everyone was caught unawares. Mouths dropped. And eyes froze. Jaws dropped, too and hearts stopped. For a minute or two. One of Kenya’s Most Famous Writers had just announced that he was gay. We needed weeks to process that piece of information. Or months. And we finally did…And embraced him.
8.GOOD NEWS OF THE YEAR.
That Almighty Oscar Award. No News is better than that! No News! Infact,Lupita Nyongo’s Oscar win is much bigger than just Good News of The Year…Its simply the BEST NEWS OF THE DECADE! Or Millennium. Ulalaaa…Orgasmic! Just like Princess Diana’s death, every Kenyan remembers exactly where they were when they learned of Lupita’s Oscar win. I was taking a very early-morning poop…when I checked the phone…And saw the news on Facebook. Where were You??

9.CLOWN OF THE YEAR
Joseph Ole Lenku. You all know why. Big ass clown! A dead goat would do a much better job at The Security Docket than 46 Ole Lenkus. Pooh! Makes me wanna throw up. On him!
10.EVENT OF THE YEAR
Raila Odinga’s big celebratory rally at Uhuru Park…attended by what Jakoyo Midiwo still believes was 1 Million Kenyans. Whether that number is right or wrong, one thing is for certain,Raila Odinga’s May 31st Homecoming Rally at Uhuru Park was massive. Soooooooooooo damn massive! The Country came to a standstill. Nairobi chocked under the massive influx of the greatest crowds ever witnessed in Nairobi since the 2002 Kibaki swearing-in.
11.SLOGAN OF THE YEAR.
#BabaWhileYouWereAway. It was timely, precise, cute, funny, hilarious, interesting, catchy and super creative.
12. HASHTAG OF THE YEAR.
#MyDressMyChoice. You all know why. No wasting time trying to explain it . You saw the results..No,actually,drooled at the results. Hehe.
13. MOST DISGUSTING THING OF THE YEAR.
What is a disgusting thing?? A disgusting thing is something that totally draws You back, inspires feelings of nausea, pain, discomfort, vengeance and tastelessness in You and messes up with Your mental peace. The sight of dead people is disgusting….A bloody accident scene is disgusting. And the sight of a mutilated body is disgusting. So what was the MOST DISGUSTING THING OF THE YEAR?? Well, the Uganda Nanny Video. Arrrrgh. I watched it…And didn’t know whether to cry or mourn or scream or throw up or just throw myself down a balcony. My heart turned cold, Mouth went dry and life lost meaning. The minute that cruel nanny kicked the crying baby’s poor head, and stood on the baby,I gave up watching the video. I still haven’t finished watching it. And probably never will.
14.CROOK OF THE YEAR.
The National Dog,Pastor Kanyari. I need not explain why. Jicho Pevu already did the job for me.

15. PHOTO OF THE YEAR.
For all the opposition nay-sayers who thought it would never happen, well,it did! The Obamas posing for a group photo with the Kenyattas. Improbable pair. Ecstatic moment. Kenyans jubilation over this gem of a photo…For weeks. The jubilation was worth it. Not unless You are Johnson Muthama. Haha.

16. BOOTY OF THE YEAR
First and foremost,I am NOT gay. And Never will be! The holder of this title ended up here simply because he is my colleague at work…And sits a few yards away from Me. He is also the noisiest and loudest and most unpredictable person I have ever come across. And because he is my friend and a guy I love trolling and making fun of,I decided that he ends up on this list. In this particular category. This photo of him in a tight dress,by the way,had over 2,000 LIKES ON Facebook! And over 1,000 shares! It went viral. Super viral! That male booty though…Hahaha,I made fun of him all week just for daring to take that photo! In that angle! But Hey,#MyDressMyChoice, right??
17. FLOP OF THE YEAR
Raila Odinga’s name shows up again. But this time,in the bad side of the story. His much hyped SABA SABA Rally ,an event that had sent jitters across the Nation, leading to mass exodus of tribes from volatile regions and lurid memories of the dark 2007/8 Post Election period,Saba Saba ended up being nothing but a shambolic nuisance. It wasn’t a rally, really. But a gathering of lost souls. Noisy clowns and clueless rabble-rousers. Nothing was achieved…Absolutely NOTHING! Even after the Government poured 15,000 Police Officers in the CBD to contain the anticipated “massive” crowds, only a few thousand jobless idlers showed up. To listen to nothing. It was a complete waste of time. And of resources. And of energy. And of emotions. Biggest flop ever!
And NOW THE LAST PART OF THE ARTICLE….WHICH IS ALSO THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.

MAN OF THE YEAR…..
I know this is contentious but, hey, its Me doing the article, right??? Right. So,well,According to this writer, the MAN OF THE YEAR is none other than the aforementioned Binyavanga Wainaina. Why?? Well, for that BOLD step he took…And publicly announced his sexuality. In a country full of hardcore homophobes-And some pretentious ones,too-Binyavanga’s move was not only bold but unbelievably AMAZING. He knew the backlash he would face for the move, weighed his options, anticipated the repercussions BUT still took that bold, rare step and,in a Country as African as ours, announced that he was gay. He faced resistance,Yes. But he handled it well. And gracefully. That was a major step in the fight for Sexual Minorities’ Rights in this Country. And also an emboldening turning point for all weak, marginalized and sidelined Minorities not only in Kenya but Africa and the World. Wat more?? Binyavanga was named One Of The 100 MOST POWERFUL People in the World by the Powerful TIME MAGAZINE. Well,That’s HOW You become Man of the Year.

WOMAN OF THE YEAR…..
Our little,Golden Hollywood Queen,Lupita daughter of Nyongo. I cannot even start naming all the Awards and titles that Lupita has won or been bestowed upon. They are way too many. What stands out, however,is her Oscar Win. And her clinching the enviable MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON IN THE WORLD title, courtesy of People Magazine. Lupita has consistently won Awards, endorsed products, done exhilarating speeches, touched hearts and blessed millions across the Universe with her beauty, skill, humility, talent, prowess and humility. She is the darling of the World. But before that,She was Our Darling! Our Love. And Our Queen. Long Live The Queen!

PERSON OF THE YEAR….
YOU. Yes,You! But wait,You ONLY become Person Of The Year if You did a few things…If You stood with Women amidst public shaming and stripping for what illiterate touts considered “indecent dressing”, You are a Person Of The Year. If You upheld Peace for the sake of Your brother, practiced self-control and ignored the inciteful words of our War-mongering politicians,You are A Person Of The Year. If You stood on the side of Truth and Justice and Honesty, even when surrounded by crowds of crooks and immoral humans,You are A Person of The Year. If You stood by Your principles and avoided allowing corruption and lies and moral rot to take the better of You,You Are A Person Of The Year. If You extended a hand to help a stranger, smiled to the sick, showed mercy and exhibited humanity in every step of Your life,You are a Person Of The Year! And if You never did any of that, well,You are NOT even a person! Crawl back to the ancient animal cave You deserve to live in.
SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF YOU! PEOPLE OF THE YEAR! Make 2015 as brilliant as this Year already!
Muuuuuuu-waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
The 3 days 4 concert New Year celebrations is slotted to usher the New Year at Machakos People’s Park. The celebrations join global celebrations held in Sydney,Tokyo,London,New York and Dubai. It will feature a spectacular air show, sky diving, fashion show, mega countdown concert,New Year Family Concert,Battle of the bands and Mo Fyah concert for reggae lovers.

Kenyan leading DJs to light up the stage include DJ Stylez,DJ Joe Mfalme,DJ Kaytrixx among others.
Naivasha traffic police have been harassing motorists for a while now and even after being exposed a couple of times, they have proved to have undying determination in executing their impunity.
DJ Mo and his wife Size 8 were the unlucky fellows who fell on the hands of rogue Naivasha traffic cops, the police have a habit of demanding bribes from motorists by implicating them with false charges.

DJ Mo refused to pay the bribe the cops were demanding and this landed him in big trouble, he revealed the cops accusing him of resisting arrest and started manhandling him. Lucky the flashing camera caught the faces of the police and the work number of one of them, we can now illuminate and shame them.

Down is DJ Mo’s account of the traumatizing ordeal:
First u stop me…i honour That…second u ask for my DL i give it to you …Third u Say i was speeding i honour That n Say we go to police station…hé wanted to Enter my car i refused…hé said i Have tinted it i said sawa..hé asks me for kitu Kidogo i said no… Hé says Am Kichwa ngumu n niingia kwa gari yao i said no …They started forcing me and accusing me of resisting arrest Naivasha police station
The Holy Bible clearly states that when you see these things happen, when love is lost among human beings, when people love themselves more than they should do to others, when nobody cares about their neighbour, alas, these are the end times.
Women whom some perverts thought were skimpily dressed faced their cowardly acts and got stripped a few days ago.
This triggered massive outrage from the public, with almost everybody condemning the heinous acts.
Demonstrations were held in the streets of Nairobi in protest of what women said is harassment from their male counterparts.
Celebrities joined the bandwagon and cursed the ugly incidences that caught the eye of the outside world. Scenes that almost tainted the name of this great country.
As if that was not enough, yet again, some stupid men still the guts to harass and strip a lady in a matatu. What is it with our matatus?
Ghafla Kenya got this video of the men trying to strip a woman in a matatu. Unfortunately, the lady was alone and these perverts took advantage of that and harassed this woman.
Here is the shocking video:
There is no one better than a man to offer views on what he thinks has been the best fashion trend of all time, for me and for most of my kind it has to be the Tutu skirt, a skirt that goes way retro into the 1800’s, it was originally a skirt meant for the ballerina, but which has been modified to fit the modern day fashion. It is fashioned from tulle or netting of varying shades. The nude tones, red, jade, blue.. you name it.
The Frilly skirt, has a romantic feel to it (probably from the literary history of Romanticism back in the 18oo’s) It also adds up the fairy tale feeling in the sense that it looks like a princesses’s apparel.

Kawira has been a darling of the many that loved watching the hilarious comedy series, Papa Shirandula, she had all of us glued to the screen for various reasons, to watch her shiny bald head smeared with lots of lotion (or other variations) and to laugh at her rendition of the Queen’s English, laced with a heavy Meru accent.
Last weekend, to our shock, she got married to her lover, Ephantus. It was a magical moment for her, we take this moment to wish her happy wedded bliss.

Well, here is a video of her wedding that you should watch..

The one girl Jaguar has been singing for with a sweet enticing mellow has been unmasked, she is a beauty Jaguar jealously protects from preying eyes.
The wise men who said the tell-tale sign for fire is smoke were definitely right, for a while, Jaguar has been having symptoms of a man in love and has ultimately sang about it well. Just in case you are wondering who the girl that has made Jaguar absurdly crazy is, we have unveiled her for you.

The girl on the picture above is the one that Jaguar protects like a commando, see how Jaguar is getting cosy around her?

This is the same girl Jaguar has been pleading with not to even move one centimeter from him and has even dropped a new song for here. See the video here:
{youtube}PSg7WrZhHyo{/youtube}
Just in case you didn’t get the prank, the girl was featured in Jaguar’s One Centimeter remix featuring Nigerian Iyanya. Finally, East coast met west coast and the result you have just seen for yourselves!
Papa Shirandula’s Kawira wedded in a colourful wedding this past weekend, a ceremony that saw her tie the knot with her long term fiancée Ephantus Wahome.
However, photos of Kawira in her wedding gown with another man, Standard Group graphic designer and co-founder of Kenya’s Social Media Awards, Kenny Kaburu, have been doing round the social media with claims that that is the man Kawira married.
Kaburu has now come out strongly to deny the allegations that have been published by various blogs claiming that he is the one who tied the knot with the humorous actress.
Kaburu has instead clarified that Kawira was married to her long term friend and fiancée Ephantus Wahome and that he only posed for the photo during the wedding.
Kawira with husband Ephantus
Speaking to Ghafla, Kaburu affirmed that he is not the one who married Kawira and that such rumours are only serving to cause the newly married couple grief and disappointment.
Kaburu has also taken to his facebook page to clarify this wrong information that is doing round the social media.
Here is what he posted:
“Thank you guys for wishing me well, but NO, i didn’t wed yesterday! Kawira wedded her long time sweetheart Mr Ephantus Wahome at an auspicious ceremony held at KEFRI, Limuru attended by family, friends, colleagues and fans. I only attended and posed as a friend! *This page look like a fake to me though, so kindly ignore it”

Hot 96 has probably been hotter than many of us expected with Shix Kapienga behind the mics.
The stunningly looking comedian-cum-radio presenter has shared of her November photos and believe it she is stunningly glamorous, beautiful, gorgeous to say the least.
And here some of her photos that caught my eye and which I am convinced will in one way or the other trigger your imagination:
Music is a jungle, laced with all manners of man eaters, from fake producers who promise you heaven to fellow artists who will go as far as helping you dig your six feet.
Lets talk of Messiah, commonly known Felix Ochieng, an up coming artiste who wants quick fame and probably quick money, (given that the two go hand in hand) He was recently featured in a video by Blaqy, the skirt wearing king or ratchetdom. Africa’s biggest reality show is nearing its end and as a result, more housemates had to be sent home to pave way for the remaining few to battle it out for the top price of Ksh 27 Million ($300,000)
Last night Biggie decided to evict 10 housemates from the house leaving only 12. The 10 were however not evicted per se, they were the ex-housemates from previous seasons who were introduced in the house to destruct the original housemates. They had achieved their purpose having stayed in the house for a week, Miss P (Botswana), Elikem (Ghana), Natasha (Malawi), Leonel (Mozambique), Uti (Nigeria), Luclay (South Africa), Feza (Tanzania), Denzel (Uganda), Sulu (Zambia) and Vimbai (Zimbabwe) were all “evicted” from the house last night Sunday.

Nigeria’s Tayo, Malawi’s Sipe and Uganda’s Ellah thought their journey in BBA had ended when Ike announced they were evicted, they were told to immediately leave the house only to be kept in a waiting room. The original hotshots didn’t know it was a prank until later when Biggie told them.

With no real evictions this week, all the remaining 12 housemates were put on eviction, this means next Sunday there will be a real mass evictions. No housemate has immunity and only African viewers will save them with their votes.

DJ Mo had an awful morning today after he had a run in with the police and got arrested.
This was after he refused to ‘toa kitu kidogo’ once he was found driving a tinted car.
According to Mr. Seed who was driving from his concert in Kitale, he saw the three cops hassling DJ Mo and when he went to inquire why the DJ was being harassed, the policemen said that DJ Mo had tinted windows.
Something which Mr. Seed says he found odd as DJ Mo had been driving with tinted windows since he bought his car and has had no trouble with the law.

DJ Mo was then accompanied by his wife to Naivasha police post where he is allegedly being charged with having tinted windows.

Just in case you didn’t know, being a socialite is also a job just like any other profession and if you doubt this statement, Corazon has an interesting explanation that will convince all the doubting Thomas’s.
Even though many dictionaries may define a socialite as a person who is well known in fashionable society and is fond of social activities and entertainment, the Kenyan version of a socialite is completely different. If the definition was to be taken serious, then Corazon wouldn’t be calling herself a socialite.
Corazon however considers herself a socialite because she posses all the qualities to fit the Kenyan description. When Ghafla! asked her whether she is was a socialite, she affirmed she was. “If someone wants to call me a socialite and I am gonna make money from someone calling me a socialite, then let it be, AM A SOCIALITE.” Corazon explained.
When she was asked to define the word, she didn’t care much about the meaning but she was certain she was a socialite. Check out the interview here:

Is the president being used as the scapegoat in the Mandera massacre or are Robert Alai’s claims true?
First things first, the blame game being played on Mandera massacre would not help solve the insecurity challenges the country is facing or bring back the victims (May God rest their souls in eternal peace). Social media screamer Robert Alai is alleging the president was in United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) watching Briton Lewis Hamilton win the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix while innocent Kenyans were being massacred.
True, the president was in Abu Dhabi but his main business there was not watching the formula 1 race, he was there on an official business. The president had even updated the nation prior to his visit that he was visiting the Gulf nation for a four days official visit.
Alai provided the guest list of all the heads of States and Governments who attended the race but one thing he fails to understand is simple, whether the president attended the race or not, that was not his main agenda there.
The Grand Prix happened to be a “by the way” on the sideline of the president’s official visit, I mean why would he not attend while all other leaders attended? He could even borrow a life from Abu Dhabi and start similar project in Kenya, who knows?
Anyway, the bottom line is that the president’s visit only coincided with the unfortunate Mandera massacre, there is no need to sound any alarm that the president was watching a race when Kenyans were being massacred. As much as much as someone must be held accountable for sleeping on his/her job, Alai alleging the commander in chief was watching F1 while innocent civilians were being killed is totally uncalled for. I agree much needs to be done to seal all the loop holes in security but then again it is not right to look for a scapegoat in such an incident.
Families of the slain victims need justice, the right person(s) who failed to protect the innocent civilians and the perpetrators themselves need to be hold accountable. Blame game wouldn’t help the families who have lost their loved ones get justice. That is just my opinion anyway.
Some things can seriously break down someone’s life if that person is not strong enough to withstand the turbulence with which they hit.
In the past few days, celebrity couple Nameless and his wife Wahu Kagwi have had to endure what can be termed as the most turbulent and tempting moments of their 10 or so year relationship.
A blog came up with rumours that the two were separating after paternity issues concerning their young child had risen.
The rumour went viral like a virus and the two singers quick came out to deny the allegations and was visibly angry at the blog when Ghafla called him for comment. Nameless said he was mad that his young daughter was being dragged into false allegations that were only meant to tarnish their image in the public domain.
Wahu on the other hand was quiet of the same for a while and later came out to refute the allegations.
And now she has taken to the social media to thank her fans for standing with during those challenging moments.
She has applauded her fans for the #mydressmychoice slogan and for the support they showed when somebody wanted to tarnish their image in the public domain.
Here is what she posted:
“Feeling blessed, feeling loved, feeling positive about life. I’d just like to say a big THANK YOU to all the people on this page for all the positivity you’ve showed in the last couple of days…from standing up for the rights of our women, to pouring out positive messages after some blogger talked false negative stories about me and my family. For all your wonderful positive energy, i’m grateful. Keep your head up guys! life should be about spreading love, not hate. Blessings and love, wahu.”
Vera Sidika has been under the radar lately most notably after photos of her looking less than savory surfaced online.
The trendy and controversial socialite’s Instagram feed went quiet for almost 1 month leaving her more than 99,000 followers in the dark, longing for her photos . A scene we have witnessed before such as in the case of Huddah who earlier this year disappeared from social media.
Many speculate that she has disappeared from the limelight after her bleach job went wrong but the sassy and sultry socialite is back.
Vera revealed that here reason for leaving social media was she needed to take a break from the world of social media to focus on her life.
Vera posted this:

Sometimes in life you need to Stay under the radar and live under a rock for a few months to stay focused. Nothing is more distracting than social media and parties. When you stay away from the World, you start focusing on what’s really important & what your true vision of life really is. If you know you have much more to give, then be ready to hustle because nothing in life comes easy.
Hello Sweethearts
Day in day out, people disappear without a trace. And after days turn into months of futile searching without any trace of their loved ones, the hunt gets called off.
Such as in the case of Bogonko Bosire (who disappeared before the Westgate Massacre) and Musician Czars (who disappeared about 8 years ago).
There are however those who are lucky enough to be re-united with their loved ones .After two days of searching for his 4 year old, Kevin Onyango whom you know as Eddy from Tahidi High has informed us that he has been reunited with his son.

Atelka Manoah disappeared on 22nd November, Saturday at 4pm and was last seen at South Civo but has been found about 2 hours ago at Huruma.
“One thing you will notice about the Mandera deaths is that those who died are mostly young and from Western Kenya. Not that some deaths are more valuable than others, we are all equal. But here is how they end up there in the first place.”
These are not my words though. These are Standard Group’s Silas Nyanchwani’s words.
In his Facebook post, Nyanchwani gives a detailed account of what he exactly thinks is the reason why the slain 28 Kenyans faced their untimely demise in the hands of Al-Shabaab insurgents.
Majority of those who perished in the massacre were teachers from Western Kenya who had travelled all the way to Mandera to seek for employment opportunities.
Employment they indeed got but majority of them could not enjoy the fruits of their long journey to Mandera as their lives were cut short.
The deceased had sought job opportunities in Mandera where, according to Nyanchwani, corruption is less rampant and the demand for teachers is high.
He adds that in Western Kenya and other places, one has to part with colossal sums of money to get employed. This forces teachers and other professionals to travel all the way to the volatile North-Eastern regions, risk their lives to get employed.
Finally, they meet their death as their security is not ensured by the same government that does not want to employ them.
Here is Nyanchwani’s assertion:
“One thing you will notice about the Mandela deaths is that those who died are mostly young and from Western Kenya. Not that some deaths are more valuable than others, we are all equal. But here is how they end up there in the first place.
For primary school teachers, those from western Kenya, particularly Kisii and Luhyia went to TTCs in droves throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, leading to what you can call oversubscription. Ironically, the teacher-student ratio in Kenya is far from the recommended standard.
So when they finish from TTCs, it takes an average seven to eight years for someone from Western Kenya to be employed. Along the way, in the wisdom of our government and TSC, they decided that employing teachers should be devolved (started long before we devolved everything). So you can only be employed in your village, or nearby village.
Thus in places like Kisii, Luhyia and Luo land, it can take you up to ten years for you to be employed. I know of a few relatives who finished their college in 1996 and only got employed in 2008. In fact a certain lady I know finished in 1992 and only got employed in 2007. By then her three children had grown up, all the way to high school.
To make it worse, in places like Kisii, corruption is the name of the game. For you to be employed, you have to fork out a dime. If you come from a poor background, chances are that you will never afford to get job around your home place. The reason you desperately want that job in the first place is that you don’t have the money. Yet, you have to pay.
Anyway, the poor man and woman, decide to go to Northern Kenya, where there are still opportunities owing to marginalization, and Muslims are not likely to be corrupt and decide to risk their lives, if only to make a living. Then coming back for Christmas, they meet their death, just like that. Sad.
Poor and condemned. All corrupt people should be shot dead and buried in the sea.”
With the country waking up to a rude shock that 28 passengers were killed in Mandera on Saturday, many questions have been raised as people try to come to terms with the unfortunate incident.
Islamic terror group Al-Shabab once again hit Kenya’s underbelly shocking the entire country, many have been thinking the country was winning the war on terror with KDF securing vital enemy grounds in Somalia, but the recent attack on a bus in Mandera has not only revealed the country’s blind spots but also altered the way people perceive the country’s security apparatus to keep the country safe.
The country’s celebrities have voiced in their concerns regarding the attack on innocent civilians; Churchill and Robert Alai have publicly expressed shock and disappointments. Down is what they had to say:
Churchill: Reading this story seems like a movie… Its so so sad. Something need to be done and done really quickly to save our nation. Lets pray for our beloved nation Kenya. Tafakari hayo… Mlale vema..
Robert Alai: A short time after the Mandera attack happened, two key government officials spoke. Their statement are official government policy. First Ole Lenku, he only regurgitated well known narrative. However, of interest, is DP William Ruto statement and assertions. He said military destroyed and killed ‘100 militants’ shortly after Mandera attack: basic questions: it is clear military knew the attackers, their base (facilities) and their movements. Why were they allowed to commit heinous crime against Kenyans before their killing? If military had known about Harakat Al-Shabaab Mujahedeen facilities ( about 25 Km from Mandara and presenting real danger) why had it not eliminated and or degraded them-complicit? What was the mode of attack by military-air power or ground etc? Kenya has string military presence in this area of Somalia. How comes the MSM has facility so close to the Kenya border?
Overcoming the temptations of socialites considering the fact that some have all the blessings when it comes to matters anterior and posterior, matters causing kerfuffle in the nerves of men, and matters baiting men into different worlds, requires the intervention of the Holy Ghost.
Vera Sidika, Huddah Monroe and other socialites are known for their skills in gallivanting in the niceties of big places and good things courtesy of what their curvaceous figures can do to those they are meant to please.
Well, dancehall singer Blaqy is the latest man to prove that dumping a socialite for a lesser known chic is no big deal
The singer has released a scintillating video of his song “Dance Together” where he seems to have new greener pastures.
His video, which features upcoming artist Messiah contains some of the best scenes with beautifully created ladies doing what is likely to give viewers all sorts of nightmares.
Dance together is a video that Blaqy says was largely inspired by the fact that Kenyans remain a divided lot who need to be united.
Here is the video:
