He used to be cool last year until psychosis got better of him, and since then he has been on an insatiable tirade of posting random photos of women he has met in his not so illustrious career next to derogatory sexual innuendos  as  captions. 

He first made news when he released a ratchet video that was infested with miles and acres of cellulite- It was one of the first Kenyan  videos that had more than 20 women dancing in bikinis, We loved it, the beats were catchy and  the average looking girls were not all that bad to look at. Soon after, he released another song with Socialite Risper faith, A socialite who he later swindled  50,000. His scandals, ladies and gentlemen, would fill a volumes. 

However, I feel that the disconnect between staying relevant and making sense is widening alarmingly. The artist is on the brink of possible annihilation but still struggling to keep afloat, he has no more music left in him- correction, he probably has other tracks set for release but has no access to funds to do standard music videos. So as he sits in his corner on rainy nights, he devices methods of staying afloat in a world that lost interest in his shenanigans. 

If he happens to be your follower  on social media  you have probably seen his nefarious updates that reek of immaturity and  idiocy, his command of the Queen’s English is despicable, his choice of women is questionable, he thrives in spurring controversy. He is a dangerous groupie, he stalks women and coerces them to take photos (after citing that he is a recording artist) Armed with these photos (that he treats as relics) he is always on the news for the wrong reasons, Everyday he posts a random photo with an innocent lady  and captions it thus: 

“After Dumping Risper Faith Kenyan Dancehall Artist BLAQY Now Dating Corazon Kwamboka’s Younger Sister”

After making such updates he goes ahead to tag the Nairobi senator, radio moguls, the president and probably a few bloggers.

Folks are still talking about Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, after he opened up about his mother. The philanthropic law maker is still battling with the bitter truth he will never see his mom again!

Mother’s Day sent Kenyans and the world in general into an impulsive frenzy, folks were busy uploading photos and penning nice words about women that brought them into our dear planet earth.

While most people were sending their mamas nice messages, guys who lost their mothers almost felt out of place.

But even death couldn’t stop Mike Sonko from celebrating his deceased mother. The Nairobi Senator shared photos of his mom and revealed a thing about her.

His daughter, Saumu Mbuvi, was named after his late mother, Saumu Mukami Mbuvi. Sonko is still grappling with the loss of his mother, he says no one can ever fill the empty space Mama Saumu left.

Sonko’s post generated massive comments from his social media followers who felt empathy for him.

Yesterday and the week preceding yesterday saw the world come together to honour all mothers who have dedicated their lives to make the world a better place for everyone.

We can agree that we are all here because of a mother, and a mother is everyone’s joy, including those who shy away from showing theirs to the public.

And as the world embarked on honouring mothers, Capital FM’s Joe Muchiri had the biggest surprise for his mother.

The radio producer prepared a video clip for his mother, a clip that showered praise on her and told her how much her son loved and appreciated her.

The clip was displayed on a public screen and everybody stood by to hear what Joe had for his mother.

The mother was seemingly caught unawares by the clip and deeply embraced her son.

If this is not another way of celebrating and appreciating a mother, which is this way you want it be done?

Over the weekend, Kenya’s most annoying writer Njoki Chege decided to attack her fellow journalist Oliver Mathenge via her City Girl column on Daily Nation.yes, this time she decided to feed us with an issue that was of no public interest at all. She didn’t refer to the journalist by name but it wasn’t hard to tell which human being her tirade was directed to.

Now here is my first problem. If you are going to insult someone on national newspaper, at least have the decency and courage to call them out by name. In reference to the classic cliché, call a spade a spade or rather call a rabbit a rabbit just the way I did when I decided to attack rapper Rabbit last week.

What was Oliver Mathenge’s crime? Well, self-anointed judge Njoki Chege sentenced him to over 700 words of mockery for flaunting his wife too much on social media. She ordered the public to match Mr. Mathenge to the gallows for his ‘nauseating social media theatrics’ and ‘shameless public display of idiocy.’ -.

Funny enough, the crimes she accused this poor man of are not crimes at all. If it’s flaunting their pretty baes on Instagram, kenyan men do it. If it’s taking selfies, many men do it. It’s an acceptable trend. So forgive me if you are too ugly for the camera Miss Chege, I fail to understand what the hullabaloo is all about here. I personally get 300 likes on Instagram for posting a photo of myself sleeping on a desk. My thinking is, if you don’t like what someone is posting on social media, then simply tap the unfollow button. That’s common sense

The last time I wrote about Njoki Chege was way back in January and it was a clear KO but she has forced my fingers again. She enjoys attacking men for no justifiable reason. So I finally figured out what might have caused this lady to lambast a fellow journalist so viciously.

Writer’s block

This is the first and most likely reason. According to the urban dictionary, writer’s block is a condition, primarily associated with writing, in which a writer loses the ability to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. The condition ranges in difficulty from coming up with original ideas to being unable to come up with something interesting to write about. It happens to us writers from time to time.

How else can you explain an average looking woman taking her time to conjure up harsh descriptions about a successful married man? Njoki Chege probably had a deadline to beat and nothing to write about so Oliver Mathenge ended up being the unfortunate casualty

Jealousy

If you are going to keep showing people how marvelous your life is, there’s always bound to be jealousy from some quarters. Njoki Chege is just a jealous and bitter single girl who can’t stand seeing people in perfect relationships. I am certain she would relish having a man who would shower her with praises on social media from dusk till dawn. It’s just that she doesn’t have such a man and she probably never will. Maybe this was another low rated episode of the Njoki Chege show where readers are subjected to some form of concocted controversy to juice digital hits. It’s a shame that hundreds of people who read her articles were left wondering why this foul mouthed young lady had forced personal issues down their throats instead of taking those same issues to her BFFs in the more decent form of moshene. Talk of misplaced ideas

More than meets the eye

Perhaps there’s more than meets the eye. At least that’s what the conspiracy theory portion of my brain suggests. Maybe the two have some form of history. In the article, there’s a part where Njoki Chege said, “He’s good-looking but too short for my liking”. This statement showed intense bitterness and opened up a can full of questions. Did he reject her? Did he chips funga her in a blue Subaru? Did he snob her in public? Did he tell her she was good for nothing? Actually, there’s an array of possibilities.

Or was it genuine concern?

Maybe Njoki Chege was genuinely concerned about Oliver Mathenge’s social media behavior. Still, she should have kept it to herself. Or if she really felt like writing about it, she should have done so on her personal blog. I don’t care what any other writer or blogger posts on social media. I would never attack them because of that. Kwa raha zao. We should all mind our own businesses. Thank you

 

Controversial Daily Nation columnist Njoki Chege is in the limelight once again after hiding her head for a while following a series of articles that left many a people raging after deeming them too unpalatable and damaging.

Njoki made headlines when she hit men below their belts with one of the worst diatribes bashing them for owning cheap Blue Subarus and smart phones and consuming cheap liquor.

Njoki was a pain in the *ss of many a man. It was when criticism went overboard that she opted to cool quenc her thirst for controversial articles.

I used this very same forum to request her to make a grand come back a few weeks ago and it seems she heeded to my words and came back, this time round attacking Star writer Oliver Mathenge, the man President Uhuru Kenyatta told he knew when journalists visited State House.

Mathenge recently married a beautiful woman and has since been all over the social media flaunting his woman and telling the world how much he is privileged to have her in his life.

Njoki did not mention Mathenge in her article but analysts clearly see that the jibe is directed at the Star journalist.

Njoki, the City Girl, wonders why Mathenge is littering the social media with photos of his wife and himself and all that they do.

According to her, this is utter nonsense and one should stop telling the world every now and again what they do even in their private life.

Her article has since elicited mixed reactions from the public, with many supporting her stand.

And therefore,You must learn to thank them. Profusely. You must be grateful for every fur coat they brought you,every jewelry they bought you,every car they made you ride around in and every house they built for Your broke ass family. It WAS a favor. And it shall always remain to be one. They did it because you’re family. Not because the bible says so. THANK THEM. ALWAYS.

7. THEY’RE HUMAN,TOO
Yup,in case you forgot,these celebrity relatives are human too. Just like you and Your thoughtless self,they can get real pissed too. And really exasperated. And just like you,they have emotions and feelings and desires. And Yes,they get mad too. And tired. And sick of the family bullshit. Just like Emmanuel Adebayor. And,in due time,they may blow up. And cut all the ties they ever had with You. And never look back. Ever. You will curse them and say that “they changed”. But no,they didn’t changed. You’re the one who sucks.

8. GROW UP
For chrissakes GROW UP! Please,Just grow up! Quit sitting around lamenting about stuff you can’t control…Quit lazing around accusing Your celebrity brother of stuff he did. Or didn’t do. You’re 30! The very idea that US President, Barack Obama, should not visit Kenya this coming July sounds like sheer absurdity. But according to Harvard Professor, Robert I. Rotberg, Kenya stands to lose if the leader of the free world sets foot in the country.

The US President is set to visit Kenya for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) which will take place in Nairobi in July. His planned visit is however causing tumult on the internet.

Harvard Professor, Robert I. Rotberg, has urged Mr. Obama not to visit his father’s homeland until he finishes his term in office.

In a lengthy article he wrote on Politico Magazine, the Professor highlighted reasons as to why the World’s most powerful man shouldn’t jet into the 254.

Top of Rotberg’s list is the ICC factor, the professor argues his ‘sanctified’ President shouldn’t be rubbing shoulders with ICC indictee. The scholar seems to be oblivious of the fact that all charges levied against our President were dropped.

Other factors brought on the table by Rotberg include; Secret Service inability to protect Obama in Kenya (Secret Service is the security organ charged with protecting the US President), nauseating sleaze in Kenya and ethnic animosity Obama’s visit will create.

The foremost reason why Obama shouldn’t dare come to Kenya according to Rotberg is the cost the country will incur hosting him.

The Harvard Professor claims the country will have to part with approximately $60 million or Kes 5.7 billion to keep the American President safe.

Rotberg says Kenya has better uses of its limited cash than protecting a visiting head of state who need not visit the country until after he leaves office.

The president repeated this very same statement yesterday when he told a crowd in Bomet County that they should not believe anything the press tells them and instead should use the newspapers to wrap meat.

The president launched this scathing attack on journalists after accusing them of spreading lies to the masses about his government.

His remarks come at the time when his deputy, who accompanied him to the Rift Valley region, has been accused yet again of trying to embezzle more than KES 11 billion from the tax payers through the rehabilitation of the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret.

Friday evening, Philanthropist and entertainer, Jaguar was just minding his business around South B when something unusual happened.

As he drove by, he spotted a handicapped beggar at South B shopping center going about his daily routine; begging. So he stopped the car and went to talk to him in a bid to assist. According to witnesses who spoke to Ghafla, Jaguar asked the lad how he could assist him get off the streets.

The beggar allegedly told the “Huu Mwaka” hit-maker that he needed 5K to start a confectionery business since he leaves his Kariobangi home daily to come to the streets to beg.

So Jaguar offered to assist him and as he asked the crowd of onlookers who had milled around to see what was going on. That was when all hell broke loose.

South B residents mostly taxi drivers told off the handicapped man when Jaguar called for assistance to help him get into car castigating him to say the truth himself or he be exposed.

The cab drivers cautioned Jaguar against offering his help to the man because he’s was and is a con! They alleged that the man was into begging business for just that…business. He’s allegedly dropped by his handler at the shopping center to beg and after gathering the day’s collection he and another female counterpart are whisked away till the next day. To add an insult, the man has been spotted “drunk and disorderly” around South B after using his day’s collection to quench his alcohol thirst.

Asked, the man admitted that he’s in fact from Tanzania and doesn’t even live in Kariobangi!

When we called Jaguar for a comment his phone went unanswered after several attempts.

 

 

When Sharon Mundia,a Kenyan fashion blogger,announced to her devout fans that she was finally getting married,it is reported that her blog site crashed. Because,well,thousands were logging in to try and read that internet-crashing episode of her unexpected engagement.

Why was Nairobi abuzz after the engagement of one of Nairobi’s most beautiful woman-If not Nairobi’s most beautiful woman?? Was it because we didn’t see it coming? Or the fact that we lead dreary,humdrum lives? Or simply because the woman in question was not just anybody..But Nairobi’s most gorgeous babe? Whom we’d all been thirsting after? And wishing we had? Or were?

Men,especially on Twitter,Yes,those corridors of idleness,cried and wept and mourned and lamented that the women they’d all been thirsting after has been taken. #TeamMafisi,as they’ve come to be known,couldn’t believe that this gorgeous piece of creation was gone…And that a man,just a man,had nabbed her. Forever…Or so it seems.

Sharon’s popularity started soaring sometimes last year. But she started fashion blogging some less than three years ago. She wasn’t even known in 2012. And even in 2013,her popularity was rather scant. But,buoyed by those very picturesque self images she’d upload every morning,and that very demure smile-that godly smile-and ,of course that inviting attitude and urbane mien,Sharon wouldn’t take long before she blew up. Real hard.

Her beauty was quite the talking point. She,let’s face it,is a masterpiece. And the MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN in Nairobi…At least according to me.

And even though Sharon is actually gifted on matters fashion and style and what have You,her allure was-and still is-mostly in our dreams of her,our fantasies with her and our desires to bed her. Or make her ours. Even for a night…

Even though she sought out to show us just who she is in the fashion world,she succeeded in,invariably,showing us just what a gorgeous woman she really was…What a magnet she was,what an impossibly-gorgeous smile she has and how she truly,really was exceptionally created.

Sharon,it has been said,is a rather aloof and snooty character who has quite a huge sense of self-worth and who can be a real dick especially to those she considers below her level…Whatever that level is.

Sharon,the daughter of well-to-do parents who took her to the prestigious Rusinga Schools and further took her down to South Africa for further studies,is obviously a woman whose seen the very very best side of life.

She’d wined and dined like a Queen…Ever since she was little and,I would guess,that feeling of prestige and eminence is what she applies in her dealings with mere mortals and regular people.

Sharon,I guess,gave birth to these other “Fashion bloggers” including Joy Kendi,Miss Kabati,Sylvia Njoki,Liz Madowo,Mumbi Shoki but I could be wrong as I am told that some of these Fashionistas had been around wayyy before her.

But what,pray,made Sharon Mundia eclipse all these other fashion bloggers and be the top fashion bloggers in Kenya?? What made her rise so stratospheric and so mythical? Why is she the top most fashion blogger in Kenya? Even landing a job at the very urbane and specious Capital Fm? A media house full of fake accents and blondes and posers?

Sharon’s rise and captivation of society-the genteel types-has mostly to do with her beauty,gorgeousness and sex allure…more than her true,real prowess in Fashion. If she has any.

World over,the honchos of Fashion,style and chic elegance are NOT even beautiful. Or sexy. Or even sharp dressers…they just have some odd taste in fashion,some queer taste for what they choose to  wear and some unusual flirtation with spooky styles and innovations.

If You look at the likes of the heavily-altered Donatella Versace,Vogue Editor Anna Wintour,British Vogue Editor Alexander Shulman,Margaret Zhang and probably Instagram fashion blogger Nadia Farifaxx,You will realize that these women are not necessarily Sharon Mundia hot or sexy or attractive or as unbelievably-gorgeous as her.

 

They are regular women with a somewhat weird look…What isn’t what You would call beauty and some real bizarre look. And as for their beauty? Zilch!

Sharon,I deduce,has managed to capture audiences and ensnare men NOT by her fashion-which I think she does know something about-but for her beauty. Sheer beauty. Nothing else.

Men have had dreams of Sharon a million times…Men have envisioned themselves in bed with Sharon for months on end,Men have dreamed of locking their lips with those of hers every single day…And,despite her chic style and funky outfits,we’ve looked beyond that to UNDRESS Sharona and wish we could bang her. Or grab her. Or lay next to her…Nude. At night.

And unlike these serial,self-proclaimed prostitutes Vera Sidika and Huddah Monroe,who’ve made it clear that they are here to trade their bodies and sell their diamonds to the highest bidder,Sharon has,smartly,covered up her allure..while still leaving it bare. And while still enticing us…Without us even knowing.

Sharon’s survival in this Industry in NOT because Kenyans are genuinely interested in fashion…Or because Kenyans are stylish or even because Kenyans DO actually buy what she endorses and finds fashionable,No,Our fixation with Sharon-and her ilk-is simply based on our wet dreams and our desires to have her. And undress her.

While I do not necessarily find Sharon super hot and sexually-enticing,a million men do.

Even when she doesn’t tease us with her barely-clad derriere and her juicy cleavage,we’ve been accustomed to her “Less Is More” mantra.

Nairobi didn’t crash Sharon’s website to really read the story of her engagement. It was crashed by Men who’ve been building dreams and castles,crashed by heartbroken men and crashed by souls who could not hide their sheer anticipation in seeing just who is this guy who finally managed to steal the heart of,allow me to say,Kenya’s Sweetheart.

Sharon’s allure,I must add,was primarily because she was single. Or made us believe so…All through. And who doesn’t want to follow up on the life of a really really HOT single Nairobi girl? Who looks like a goddess and smiles like a billion angels?

She was our little gem. But now she’s gone. And with that engagement,alooooot of her “Followers” will NOW stop following her. Yes,I said It! I mean,the mystery has been solved…the girl has been taken,there’s nothing to see here…Quick,Exit Building!

But until another Sharon comes along…A fashion blogger whose natural endowment clearly masks her ‘fashion acumen’ by veryyy far,we shall still continue to follow Sharon. Taken or not.

The lack of popularity of other female fashion bloggers lies,in huge part,in the brazen fact that they,even though they’ve got quite the style mojo,lack the X factor..that extra natural oomph that Nairobians judge you by. Unforgivable fact.

Sylvia Njoki is HOT…..And she’s the next Sharon Mundia. Until she is taken.

I don’t know what is attracting Nairobi women into starting fashion blogs…the fact that they ACTUALLY do know shit about fashion or the vain fact that Social Media is kind to the naturally beautiful…And the gorgeous.

Subaru owners can’t even breathe easy without being smeared with a shocker! Njoki Chege must be laughing from wherever she is.

The tribulation of owners of the Japanese-made automobile started when Njoki Chege launched a surprise attack on them. This time round it’s not the Daily Nation writer that took a jab on them.

Insurance Group, AIG, has decided to turn its back on Subaru owners whose vehicles are worth less than 1.5 million.

Apparently the company has been incurring loss from insuring Subarus worth less than the stated amount, to curb increasing loss it had to cut loose Subarus.

Sorry Subaru owners, at least BMW was also not spared this time round!

Sandra Bartonjo came under the ugly glare of the spotlight after a Nax Vegas party went sour. She was involved in a backstage altercation with Socialite Vanessa Chettle that ended up with Vanessa Chettle sustaining a gash on one side of her face.

Well the busty babe is under the spotlight again after allegedly swindling 35,000 shillings from vendors at barbeque live.

The 2 vendors Yvonne Nyandong’ and Laura, claim that they met Sandra through a common friend and she told them she was working for Barbeque live and could get them a stall to sell their goods. Not knowing that she has no authority to receive the money.

 

The two vendors sent the girl who is quite the party animal 35,000 shillings for the venue and she accepted liability if things went wrong she would pay them 100,000. In addition, she also sent them this contract:

 

What’s more the two lasses claim that Sandra called them at odd hours asking for the additional money.

Despite all this, when they arrived at the event , there was no tent to vend off their items and they were forbidden from accessing the venue.

Since then they claim that Sandra has been very dodgy and the two have resorted to dealing with the organizers of barbeque live sending this:

Hi,

This email is sent as a follow up after the vendor issue at your event on Saturday, where Sandra Bartonjo did not make payments for the stand despite receiving money. We incurred a huge loss based on this.
Since there is no clear communication amongst the partners. We need to know the way forward as she accepted to refund monies spent. Sandra has mentioned you’ve declined to let her access funds, which she agreed to reimburse.

As we agreed she is to pay for the losses incurred immediately. The other partners did not do our transaction; therefore we feel it would be unfair to taint the image of the company based on one person. However if this is not resolved immediately, we have no option but to go ahead and pursue the issue legally as she represents the company.

I understand you need receipts, we have requested Sandra to forward the receipt. We shall attach all expenditure. We expect full reimbursement for initial costs plus stand fees. We are not after projected sales.

Kindly, let us know the way forward. We were to collect money on Saturday as she said she would have money after bar sales were reconciled. Now it’s a push and pull situation. Yesterday we were made to understand Jose was to get back to her, kindly get in touch via email or on 0716978***.

Thank you for your email. However, we choose not to further engage ourselves in this matter as none of the directors of the company was involved in your deal with Sandra.
Sandra is not and has never been a director at BBQ live. She is an employee who is in charge of entertainment management and is not in anyway authorized to transact any business in relation to vendors.

Its unfortunate she misrepresented the company and even went further to receive money in the pretense that she would offer a vendor stall at the event while she clearly knew that she is not allowed to deal with vendors or sign any document on behalf of the company.

Bbq live did not receive any money from Sandra in relation to issuing of a vendor stall.
We even have an official company line on the poster in case someone has any inquiries so I don’t understand how you decided to go direct to Sandra.

We however wish to clarify that we do not mind working with your company in future events if proper channels are followed and you book your stand on time.
My apologies for what happened.please take it up with Sandra for any kind of reimbursement you would want.

It explains why the contract took long to be signed and all. Considering how well known Sandra is, one would not think this would happen.

Thanks for the clarity, this even makes it easier to sort out as its obtaining money under false pretense. As we had already reported the issue we shall follow it up using the correct channels.

The young girls claim that they have already reported the issue to the police.

 We called up Sandra who said that their side of the story was a lie, saying that the girls had been given their tent as previously agreed, and she will be working for Barbeque live when the next edition comes. Citing that there is now way an employer would still keep her on board if she stole as she was accused. Further more, she claimed that the two girls were well known for ripping off people.

 

We asked her to produce any document substantiating her claims but she declined to do so.
