And yesterday, Wednesday December 21st, it was Margaret Kenyatta’s turn to respond to Millie Odhiambo.
The First Lady however didn’t respond with insults but rather wished the Mbita MP well ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Mrs. Kenyatta sent Millie Odhiambo a Christmas card with a message of peace and reconciliation;
“Christmas is here again – a time to remember and apply our shared values of compassion, sharing and communism. We share this holiday with all people of all persuasions because what we celebrate are cherished universal human impulses.Often, what we see as our differences are only expressions of problems that can be resolved through a commitment to good will, love, peace and unity. The card was signed by both the president and his wife; it also had their pictures on it.

The challenged was sparked after someone merged her photo with Johnie Walker making it easy for others to join in and make fun of the MP who publicly attacked President Uhuru Kenyatta.

A boda boda operator who brutally killed his mother has confessed his crime saying that circumstance forced him to end the life of his mom.
A 33-year old boda boda operator in Ogun State, Nigeria was arrested after he stabbed his mother, Abimbola Ogunlusi, to death.
Mr. Segun Ogunlusi confessed his crime to the police on December 20th; he revealed that his mother’s unceasing demand for sex from him compelled him to end her life.
He explained that he sneaked up on his mother while she was in the kitchen and stabbed her in the stomach. He then tried to burn her corpse with kerosene but it didn’t catch fire forcing him to dump it in a pit.
“My mother kept saying if I had sex with her I would be free. On a particular Tuesday morning, when two of us were at home, she was in the kitchen, I walked up to her and stabbed in the stomach and she died. I poured kerosene on her corpse in a bid to burn her but it did not catch fire. Later, I dumped the corpse in a soakaway pit,” Segun Ogunlusi was quoted by Ripples Nigeria.

A police officer at Kenya Police Training College in Kiganjo has confirmed that assassination is in the pipeline for ODM MPs Millie Odhiambo and Junet Mohamed.
The threat from Kipchirchir Alfie has reignited the theory about the existence of a killer police squad that silences anti-government propagandists.
Kipchirchir Alfie posted a photo on his Facebook account which showed 34 bullets; the caption said that three bullets were meant for Suna East MP Junet Mohamed and the rest were for Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo.
“Tatu ni za Junet, the rest are for Millie Mabona,” Kipchirchir Alfie captioned the photo.
His threat is perceived to be a direct response to Millie Odhiambo’s bashing of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kipchirchir’s profile shows that he is a Police Field Commander at Kenya Police Training College in Kiganjo.

Larry Madowo has interviewed loads of celebrities ever since he took over the Trend; he has exposed newsmakers who have uncouth behaviors that the public didn’t know about.
As 2016 comes to an end, Larry Madowo decided to share his experience of interviewing and interacting with celebrities throughout the year.
He was full of praise for South African jazz star Hugh Masekela, British-Nigerian actor David Oyelowo, Trey Songz, Aloe Blacc, Victor Wanyama, Mafikizolo, Oliver Mtukudzi, Yemi Alade, Tinie Tempah and Jose Chameleone.
The NTV anchor described the named celebrities as extremely cheerful and friendly persons; he said they have a placid disposition that is totally awesome.
But Larry didn’t have nice words to say for the likes of David Rudisha, Lupita Nyong’o, Jimmy Gait, Koffi Olomide, Flavour, Sinach and Nyashinski.
He revealed his last interview with Lupita Nyong’o in Kampala ended in disarray when he asked her whether she had a narcissistic personality disorder.
“I was back in Kampala for a show in late September when I heard that the Oscar-winning actress, Lupita Nyong’o, was in town to premiere her new film, ‘Queen of Katwe’. I made a few calls and got an interview. Traffic was horrendous that Sunday because of a huge festival that was taking place in the middle of the city, so I jumped onto a boda boda to get to her. Like all the other journalists at the junket, Disney gave each of us just 15 minutes. In her room, Lupita was sitting between co-stars Madina Nalwanga, 16, and her on-screen son, Martin Kabanza.“We like your ugali video,” I told her as we settled down, referring to a Vogue-produced clip where she learns to cook the Kenyan staple from her mother. “You put me in a lot of trouble,” she responded with a smile. She was detached and appeared bored throughout the rest of the interview, which prompted some to say she didn’t value African presenters, compared with her American appearances. The NTV anchor said the likes of Jimmy Gait and Nyashinski were drama kings who cancelled interviews with him through text messages and stopped answering calls.
“Others like David Rudisha, who has consistently refused to do the show with an ever-expanding list of excuses. Even that is still better than Jimmy Gait, who cancelled last October in a text message to producer Kevin Gitau, then refused to answer calls.
Then there are those who are booked in advance but decline to come on when they land in Nairobi, like Koffi Olomide, or Nigerian artistes Flavour and Sinach. Well before he got deported for his airport drama, Olomide just couldn’t be bothered to honour an invite. Flavour reportedly had drama with immigration officers when he arrived that ruined his mood while Sinach wouldn’t leave her hotel room.
Every so often, there is also a guest like Nyashinski who confirms, then stops answering calls and ends up on another station station.”

This was in reference to former devolution cabinet secretary’s alleged loot of 1.6 billon.

Striking a balance between marriage and work is not easy; Janet Mbugua has been burdened with the two and now she has resorted to start all over again.

Janet says she has resorted to going back to her passion projects and taking a break with her son and husband as a measure of fixing her problems.
“I learnt that yesterday, as I presented my vision of Inua Dada to a group of women at the Karen Country Club who so kindly invited me to do so. But I learnt so much more about myself in the process. A few days before this presentation I took a moment to reflect. I realized that I wanted to start over, to re-align myself so that I cam move forward with my projects with clarity. I realized I’m tired, jaded and discouraged, feeling like I’ve been taking on too much at the same time. To top it all of, I’m raising a new family and running a home. I’m burnt out. But I’m glad I know, so that I can fix it. And fixing it for me begins with going back to my passion projects, where my fire burns most. That and taking a break with Baby Huru and Baba Huru, which is in the works So I’m at a point where I’m going back to the beginning, resetting my life and starting over. Pushing reset. That goes for my projects as well. I’ve realized that sometimes it’s ok to go back to basics. It’s ok to feel frustrated and jaded as long as you can get to the root cause and begin working it out. It’s ok not to be ok…sometimes. As long as you’re willing to fix it. South African doctor-turned-Minister of Health, Aaron Motsoaledi, has warned men to desist from ‘hitting it from behind’ saying the love making style was hazardous to their health.
Speaking to The Insider, Mr. Motsoaledi said that using doggy style during sex was the major cause of cancer and stroke to men.

Tuesday, December 20th witnessed drama in Parliament as Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo insulted President Uhuru. Moses Kuria has since issued threats against the female lawmaker.
Gatundu South MP, Moses Kuria, has hit back at Millie Odhiambo after she caused drama in parliament on Tuesday; the Mbita MP was among opposition legislators that tried to thwart attempts by Jubilee MPs to make amendments to the election law.
“Uhuru does not even compare to me wacha Raila Odinga , mwambie Uhuru yeye ni mshenzi , mwizi, ni fisi and my consents tell me he is extremely stupid,” Millie Odhiambo shouted in parliament.
Jubilee motormouth, Moses Kuria, responded swiftly to issue threats against Mbita MP; he warned Millie Odhiambo that he would insert a broken beer bottle deep down her private part if she dared step in parliament.

Kenyans managed to raise a whopping Ksh 8 million for Gladys Kamande. But now something has gone terribly wrong.
Gladys Kamande’s case received the much needed attention when a street boy in Thika wept for her after discovering that her life depended on a generator and oxygen tank.
Kenyans quickly responded and raised money for Ms Kamande who needed 7 million to travel to India for treatment; so far Ksh 8,049,572 has been raised through the M-Changa account.
But even before Gladys could travel across the ocean for treatment, her campaign drive manager, Ndugu Nyoro, has raised the red flag.
Nyoro exposed a quack who had been treating Gladys for the last 10 months and who insisted to be part and parcel of Gladys’ treatment in India.
“As it’s always the norm anytime we complete online fundraising for needy cases, I quickly organized for a meeting with Gladys and her family for a way foward. We had to deliberate on the treatment process which I considered most important,so more than the initial phase of funds appeal. I wanted a quorum to help us arrive at a solid conclusion. The meeting was to be attended by Gladys, her Mum, her Brother, her Sister, her Uncle, her Sister-in-law called Patricia, Cllr John Kibue Kibs, a friend of mine called Chebet Kertich and Myself. Samson Buluma whom they fondly referred to as daktari joined us much later. I needed his input as well.” Ndugu Nyoro wrote in part.
He explains that Samson Buluma had been masquerading as clinical officer from KNH yet he had no experience to handle a critical case like Gladys’.
Nyoro revealed he did a background check on Samson Buluma and he discovered that he had NEVER been an intern or an employee at KNH.
“The first query I had was on the arrangement for travels. I was informed Gladys would be accompanied by her daughter Annita. I mentioned to them I would through my network of friends assist in getting passports for the two. But there was one more addition- ‘daktari’. I was told Buluma would be travelling with the two, to enable him follow up on the treatment for their duration of stay in India and know how to nanage his patient once they return to Kenya. I disagreed.
After the passionate appeal for funds, I didn’t see any need for additional party yet we were not sure how much would be required for entire treatment. Sometimes, un-budgeted surprises crop up. We had to save as much just in case.

I really could not understand why Buluma insisted on traveling. So I probed him. He told me he is a CLINICAL OFFICER at KNH and he has been treating Gladys for more than 10 months. A clinical officer handling such a critical patient? Why not a consultant? At that point I opted to query further on his role of managing Gladys and to what extent.
I realized my friend was not straight foward in his responses. I asked him how he arrived at his Indian hospital of choice and the treatment plan. He could not respond. I asked if he considered other super speciality hospitals that could offer better services. He didn’t have a convincing response. He could not table documents of his correspondence with the said Artemis Hospital. How did he, a CO, arrive at all these without the input of KNH consultants. He fumbled. At that point I felt there was a problem. The only response was that he had Gladys report in his head and would unleash it to the Indian doctors once he gets to India..
I left the meeting after some hours of intense discussion. I asked the family to allow me figure out the process.
In a bit to cover my investigations, I asked my friend Chebet to call KNH as we embarked on a mission to understand who Buluma was. The first call went to Dr. Wafula, head of Respiratory Unit. Ideally, this is the unit where Gladys matter would revolve around. Dr. Wafula said he has never heard of such a character. He told us the guy could either be a masquerader, a quack or an intern. But he expressed fears on the daily injections the patient was receiving at home. “I only hope he has been injecting water. Otherwise, her kidneys may suffer irreparable damage” he said.
I remembered Buluma had mentioned that he has worked at the Paediatric department. I therefore enquired at the place through the section head. The answer was negative.
Doctors could not believe the ‘doctor’ even was interviewed on a national television on this particular patient, how he was treating her and his plans for further treatment. He was a total stranger!”

The political temperatures are ranging high and they seem to have made a stop and the Jappani’s (Tom Jappani- head of Radio Maisha and Massawe Jappani –radio personality at Radio Jambo).
Why you may ask? Because of one public provocateur and Member of Parliament for Mbita Millie Odhiambo.
The lady has been the talk of tow and this is after a video of her lashing out at President Uhuru surfaced online. Millie went on a rampage calling Uhuru all manner of names including stupid, mshenzi and most notably fisi. We are still in a dilemma as to where that came from.

Not to digress however, this seems to have angered Radio Jambo’s Massawe Jappani who went on Facebook to criticize Millie terming her actions as cheap and with zero ounce of leadership. Well, boring, no story there.
But that was until her husband decided to have a go at her on the comment section criticizing her post and probably everything she stands for when it comes to matters politics.

Of course Massawe tried to defend her post with this comment:

And which I’m afraid opened herself up to more criticism:
“What is worse? disrespecting an obviously tribal and partisan President or dubious women stealing our billions in sacks to fund their gubernatorial ambitions????? Kenyans amuse me! Even in the face of an outrage you’re supposed to be prim and proper!”
And then to this:
“RAO went to the streets to reform IEBC, they ridiculed him for it. Now they’re busy trying to sneak in illegal amendments through parliament to allow IEBC rigging space. Tuache kudanganywa jamani! There is no pedho in outrage! To hell with manners.”
The two, Ali Kiba and Zuleha Hassan took the photo a couple of weeks back and the internet has gone berserk!
Zuleha as you might not know is Zari Hassan’s younger sister, she’s actually the youngest in a family of 6 and well Ali Kiba, is Diamond’s arch enemy and number one rival. The two don’t see eye to eye and neither do their fans, whom always have a go at each other in every given opportunity.

The lifeless body of a house burglar was found dangling on a fence with two sharp spikes having pierced his body at five different spots.
A suspected house burglar was impaled by a fence while attempting to flee from a house he had allegedly broken into in Robertsham, Johannesburg on Sunday December 18th.
The man had successfully sneaked into the compound and stole a TV set and other property . He met his end as he was trying to get over a fence which had been fortified with long sharp spikes.
The burglar died on the spot when one of the spikes pierced his body on the left side of his chest puncturing his heart.
His lifeless body was found hanging loosely on the fence on Sunday. Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo confirmed the incident to TimesLive, stating that the man was found at about 4.30am on Sunday.
The property he had stolen was found also recovered by the police when they came to take his body to the mortuary.

This will involve the reorganization of all our operations across the Group to prioritise our resources and investments in content development, monetization and innovation in line with emerging ways that new age consumers are consuming media. This will allow us grow our new revenues streams while securing our current print and broadcasting businesses in a much more efficient and effective manner.

You never really know the true definition of Kenyan men until you take a stroll on Kilimani mum’s; the all strong female group which seeks to empower, offer refuge and at times seek justice for majority of women folk in the country.

A shocking incident in Engashura area in Bahati, Nakuru County has left residents wondering which evil spirit possessed a 15-year-old boy that made him behead his 4-year cousin.
The suspect decapitated his cousin following a quarrel over a piece of sugarcane; neighbors who responded to screams of distress from the compound where the incident happened, reported that the boy had cut off the head of his cousin with a machete and dragged the lifeless body into a ditch behind the house.
The boy dashed to Bahati Police Station after murdering his cousin and surrendered; he confessed to killing his cousin.
Confirming the incident, Bahati OCPD Edward Masibo said that the suspect was a drug addict.
“The boy is alleged to be a drug addict and his confession and boldness is not a normal affair. The disagreement over a piece of sugarcane is too petty to warrant the fatal attack. It was a petty cause of contention.” Bahati OCPD was quoted by the media as saying
