Reprieve for Citizen TV anchor! Jacque Maribe’s lost nephew Kelson Kimani rescued by Flying Squad

Jacque Maribe’s nephew had been missing for four days and the kidnappers were demanding a whopping Kes 2.2 million for his safe return.

Kelson Kimani wambugu was abducted from his parent’s house in Thika by kidnappers who demanded 2.2 million to release the boy.

Jacque Maribe and Dennis Itumbi sounded the alarm about Kelson’s disappearance as they pleaded with the public to help them find the boy.

Flying Squad sprang into action to rescue Kelson as his parents and relatives were still struggling to raise the ransom demanded by the kidnapers.

Kiambu police commander Adial Nyange said the Kelson was being held in Ruaka in Kiambaa constituency but on the suspects knowing they were being trailed they decided to transfer the boy to Mwiki, Kasarani where they were intercepted by Flying Squad.

Five suspects have been arrested including three women and two men while two others are still at large even though they have been identified.

“God did it for our family! The joy baba and mama Kelson had, I don’t think words can ever describe! We’re grateful my nephew is safe and sound #KelsonFound,” Jacque Maribe wrote after her nephew was found.

A certain errant lady has found herself in hot soup and this is after posting malicious information online.

The lady whose name has been withheld has been served court papers by the admin on popular Facebook pages Kilimani Mums Uncensored and Kilimani Mums and Dads Magdalene Nziza.

She is being accused of falsehoods, creating distorted stories and forming fake whatsapp and facebook conversations using Photoshop all which are intended to destroy the reputation of the one of the members.

The suit also focused on matters of breach of privacy in the process also quoting the constitution on the same something which I consider to be very ironic considering all the filth that sometimes gets churned out of those pages.

Bonny Khalwale’s son scored a total of 400 marks in 2016 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE). Engine Khalwale has now joined Alliance High School.

Bonny Khalwale seems to be one of those strict parents who don’t pamper their kids. Unlike other politicians’ kids who study in expensive private schools, Bonny’s son was a pupil at Malinya primary school in Kakamega county.

Engine Khalwale’s brilliance saw him score 400 marks that earned him a ticket to join one of Kenya’s most prestigious national schools.

The Kakamega Senator yesterday escorted his son to Alliance High School for his admission. There was no special treatment for mheshimiwa in Alliance.

Bonny was forced to inspect his son’s belongings before he could be admitted to school.

Know Dirk Nowitzki? Mavericks all-time leading scorer, the 2011 NBA Finals MVP, the 2007 NBA MVP and a two-time FIBA Europe Player of the Year. Well, he has a story to tell, a story of love with a Kenyan woman.

Now Ollson was the daughter of a Kenyan mother and Swedish father, was born in Nanyuki, Kenya, a market town located northwest of Mount Kenya that was founded by British settlers and is the home of the Kenya Air Force. She was raised in Sweden with her younger twin brothers, Marcus and Martin, who are both English Premier League soccer players.

As fate would have it, they went out and soon enough the fell in love. According to Nowitziki, they just clicked intellectually, both liked art and both liked sports.

“She grew up around sports. We both love tennis and we love to travel. We both love kids and family.” He explained.

As it is tradition, they had to come to Kenya and meet the family and that’s where they subjected to ruracio traditions which were both new to them. At one point Nowitziki was forced to identify his wife amidst a group of other women and how he did it will basically throw you off your chair.

#BringCarolHome turns to #RIPCarol: Carol Mumbua passes on in India as Kenyans were raising money to have her travel back home alive

Early today #BringCarolHome was trending at position one on Twitter after Carol Mumbua’s case was highlighted. But unfortunately Carol passed on before Kenyans could bring her back home alive.

24-year-old Carol Mumbua was stuck at an Indian hospital for close to a year after she failed to raise money to settle her bill which amounted to Kes 3.7 million.

Ms Mumbua travelled to India to receive treatment for Lupus; a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks one’s own tissues and organs.

Kenyans were made aware of Carol’s predicament through the tag #BringCarolHome which was trending first on Twitter.

But as people were starting to send in their contributions, bad news broke. Unfortunately Carol didn’t make it.

Carol was recovering at the Indian hospital where she was being treated as she waited to clear the bill and travel back home. Sadly she suffered relapse which is thought to have caused her death.

Man whose fingers were growing like tree branches cured after 16 surgeries (Warning: Disturbing photos)

He was nicknamed “Tree Man” because his fingers and toes were growing like tree branches. It took 16 surgeries take the wood-like warts on his hands and feet.

Out of the 7 billion humans on earth, only four people have been diagnosed with a rare skin condition called epidermodysplasia verruciformis; rare genetic hereditary skin disorder that causes wood-like warts on the body.

27-year-old, Abul Bajandar from Bangladesh was among the four people diagnosed with epidermodysplasia verruciformis.

The Tree Man was unable to hold his daughter since she was born as the warts on his body hindered him from holding anything or walking.

But this has changed as Bajandar went under the knife to have the warts on his body removed. Doctors at Dhaka Medical College Hospital successfully removed the last growths from Bajandar; a total 16 surgeries and five kilos of growths was removed from Bajandar since doctors began treating his condition a year ago.

The Bangladeshi man is now able to use his fingers and toes again. Doctors believe if the warts do not grow back, Bajandar will be the first person ever to recover from the genetic disease.

Almost everybody thought Marya was going to be Colonel Mustafa’s wife back then when they used to be the ideal celebrity couple.

Before blogs came, we used to read on Pulse and Buzz how Marya and Mustafa were laying groundwork for their marriage.

But they broke up and we heard several explanations why they decided to part ways; Mustafa’s philandering ways and Marya’s hesitation to convert to Islam, were some of the reasons that were mentioned to have caused their breakup.

Avril

We started hearing about the mysterious guy Avril was dating in 2013. She unmasked her then South African fiancée, Leslie Mugadza, aka Muga, in 2014 when she revealed she had gotten engaged.

‘Muziki’ hit-maker Darassa planning to perform in Kenya?

Word has it that Kenyans are demanding to have Tanzanian singer, Darassa, perform in the county as soon as possible since his music is proving to have a lot of effect on his Kenyan fans.

Mombasa based Nyota Ndogo confirmed this through her social media pages where she took the opportunity to reach out to the singer urgeing him to come get the ‘Kenyan money’ that is literally calling out for his name.

According to Nyota Ndogo fans started demanding for Muziki by Darassa immediately she finished performing her songs. She went on to add that the fans requested her to dance along to the song confirming that there was great demand to have the singer

It is no secret as Muziki has become an anthem in most clubs in Nairobi and other cities within the country. Therefore, it would not be surprising to hear that Kenyans want to have him perform as soon as possible.

However the singer seems caught up in other projects forgeting that fame is seasonal when it comes to Kenyan fans. Anyway, let us see whether he will be able to make it on time before his song becomes another ‘overplayed’ song.

The last time she visited Kenya she received a goat as present but she didn’t keep it; Demi Lovato is back in the country.

“Heart Attack” was the song that made Demi Lovato become a household name in entertainment industry. The 24 year old singer has fallen in love with Kenya.

She first came to the country in 2013 and spent time at the Maasai Mara where she volunteered for a charity organization. Lovato is a celebrity ambassador for Me to We and Free the Children organizations.

The American singer was gifted with a goat by local Maasai community during her 2013 visit; she however didn’t keep it but gave the goat to a family in need.

Fast forward to 2017, Lovato is back to Kenya again. The songstress was seen playing with baby elephants at an undisclosed animal sanctuary in the photos she shared online.

Lovato however didn’t say much, she only revealed she was in Kenya in the caption.

Think you have seen it all, think again! One police officer by the name Dantez-his alias name has been to hell and back and has lived to tell it.

His story started off in 2012, when he finally joined the police force after many failed attempts. His first assignment? Baragoi.

He was part of the formidable team that was sent out to tackle cattle rustling only to end up perishing in the famous Suguta valley, Baragoi Samburu County where 40 cops passed away.

Dantez survived, though he doesn’t know how by the grace of God and that’s why he eventually ended being saved and being a gospel singer. And he didn’t stop there, Wazalendo Peace Initiative, with an aim of preaching peace in Kenya, especially to the youth. He is currently involved with an initiative called ‘Peace Walk’.

In the midst of it all, something tragic also happened; his wife left him. Guess for what? Speaking exclusively to Ghafla, apparently he had made such a drastic change in his life that his wife started getting scared that he will start attracting other women so she left him.

Diamond’s wife is having sleepless nights but she loves the fact that she is sacrificing her sleep to take care of her baby.

Zari Hassan conceived her second child with Diamond barely a year after she gave birth to their first born daughter.

She has three other children from her previous marriage to controversial Ugandan tycoon, Ivan Ssemwanga.

You would think Zari loves to get pregnant because she has nannies to take care of her babies while she sleeps, but interestingly she goes through what mothers experience when their babies are still months old.

Diamond’s wife revealed she stays up every night just to take care of Prince Riaz who hardly sleeps at night. And she says the experience is the most beautiful thing ever, as if she will get pregnant again soon.

“With all the help in this house from the maids & grannies I still stay up with my son till he sleeps. It’s hard work being a mom usually with less or no sleep at all but hey, it’s the most beautiful thing ever. Veteran KANU politician Jackson Kibor is divorcing his 67-year old wife to marry a young woman. Mr. Kibor had married his wife for 51 years.

Jackson Kibor has been at the center of several controversies; he made headlines when he hacked away City Council’s clamp on his vehicle in Eldoret. His SUV was clamped after he failed to pay Kes 100 parking fee.

The 86 year old politician is also divorcing his wife whom he married in 1965; he moved to court last year to file for divorce claiming that he no longer loved his 67 year wife.

Kibor accused his wife of desertion, cruelty and interfering with his 800-acre property in Kipkabus, Uasin Gishu county.

The KANU-era politician has now fallen in love with a quadragenarian woman whom he married two weeks ago.

Gift Osinya was among pupils who excelled in 2016 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE). He joined a national school today.

Sonko enrolled Gift Osinya to Bethlehem academy in Ruiru after he adopted him alongside his younger brother, Baby Satrin Osinya.

Gift managed to score 399 marks in 2016 KCPE; the impressive score enabled him meet the requirements for joining a national school.

A jovial Mike Sonko announced Gift had joined Lenana National School to pursue his secondary education.

“I wish to take this opportunity on behalf of my lovely Wife and on my own behalf to congratulate my adopted son Gift Osinya the boy who rescued his younger brother Satrin during terror attack in which their mother was brutally murdered. Gift scored an A Plain in 2016 KCPE and was today officially enrolled at Lenana School in form one,” Sonko wrote.

Gift was admitted at the prestigious school today January 8^th; Sonko’s wife accompanied her adopted son to Lenana.

Bien Aime got to celebrate his 29th birthday party with friends and family at the Osita lodge in Rongai this Sunday 8th 2016. The star studded party had been planned by his girlfriend, Chiki Kuruka who was helped by Ruth Anyiko and just like Polycarp’s this was also an invites only party.

The party was not only graced by the Sauti Sol members but the like of Nyashinski among other celebrities who had been invited to celebrate the special day with Bien Aime. Ghafla was also in the house to party and mingle with the artistes.

The two women celebrated their union in a white wedding ceremony on Semenya’s 26th birthday. The Olympic champion and her girlfriend had their traditional wedding in 2015 making them legal partners.

Semenya stepped out in a ‘prince-charming’ like outfit while her partner chose a white wedding dress that left many tongue tied.

5 important things that President Uhuru did when he met sickly football legend Joe Kadenge

President Uhuru has done what his three predecessors failed to do during their time as commander in chief. But meeting Joe Kadenge was nothing compared to what he did for the sickly football legend.

Government officials from the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts last week confirmed the president would meet Joe Kadenge.

While the planned meeting was scheduled for January 12^th, the president went on to meet Kadenge on Sunday after he returned to the capital from Mombasa.

The wisest thing the president did that earned him accolades was to visit Joe Kadenge at his South B Mariakani home rather than to have the sickly legend travel to State House to see him.

Uhuru was accompanied by the First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, Sports CS Hassan Wario, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko among other top government officials.

The President personally gave Kadenge an NHIF card so that his family and him could access medical care at no cost.

Uhuru also gave Kadenge a whopping Kes 2 million to top up the fundraising effort towards his plight that started following his hospitalization on Boxing Day, three days after collapsing during a family outing.

Another important thing the head of state did was to order immediate operationalization of Heroes Council to deal with matters affecting legends of the past who have served the country with distinction.

The President revealed Kes 300 million will be allocated by Treasury as per the law established to cater for the nation’s heroes.

In return, Joe Kadenge handed the president a branded No.7 football Jersey, an autographed ball and a copy of his autobiography.

Don’t mess with Luos! Angry reactions from Luos after media reported that the pilot who landed a chopper on a road in Bondo did so to ask for direction

A Luo pilot landed a chopper on a road just outside Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University in Bondo Town on Saturday. Sections of media reported that the pilot did so to ask for direction, and the Luo nation is not pleased at all.

Sections of media reported that the pilot who landed a chopper on the busy Bondo-Usenge road did so to make enquiries before taking off.

Luos on social media ‘caught hormones’ following the misleading media reports; they quickly clarified what happened that Saturday.

Apparently the pilot who has been identified as Malowa Apollo, hails from Bondo. Mr. Apollo had flown Gem Member of Parliament, Jakoyo Midiwo, to his rural home before deciding to pull the surprise visit to his mother.
