Miss World Nyamira County, Mercy Mokeira, passed away on Saturday 28th 2017 after a short battle with a rare disease.
A source close to the fallen beauty queen revealed that she succumbed to a disease called ‘Maple’ which makes it difficult for one’s body to process certain protein building blocks (amino acids) properly.
Miss World Siaya, Shay Halima, has mourned her fallen friend; Shay and Mercy were trolled by KOT last year when they posed with two hot convicts at Langata Women prison.
Shay expressed shock and disbelief after learning about Mokeira’s death;
“This has come as a shock! Rest In Peace Mercy Mokeira- Miss World Nyamira County. Its true nobody knows tomorrow.. I don’t know why, i don’t know how.. But God knows,” Shay Halima posted.
Ladashabelle’s photo has left may wondering whether the bottle she is seen holding in the photo is a whiskey or wine bottle. The toddler whose parents are known to be ministers of the word has left many with answered questions after the photo was shared on her Instagram page.
Size 8 and her hubby seem like the type of parents who don’t condone children drinking or even wearing gear promoting any alcoholic substances but their daughter’s photo on the other hand is sending out a different message.

Akothee has finally opened up about her relationship with her manager Nelson Oyugi popularly known as Nelly Oaks.
A while back, Kenya’s richest singer was alleged to be dating her manager after several factors were compiled.

Akothee has now come clean to reveal that she loves Nelly Oaks; she however made it clear that her love is work related ONLY.
The ‘Benefactor’ singer says Nelly is the best manager she has ever had; she attributed her success in 2016 to her manager. Akothee dropped some of the biggest hits in 2016; ‘My Sweet Love’ ft Diamond and ‘Give It To Me’ ft Flavour, which won her two AFRIMMA awards.
The rich songstress took a swipe at her former managers whom she said opted to seek fame and rode on her brand.

Now as narrated by our little Ghafla bird who works at the hotel bar, there is once Friday night where the politician had his 3 girlfriends at the bar all at the same time. One was seated at the bar counter, the other was on the outside terrace while the other was in the balcony of the bar.
The little bird was shocked just how the big Luhya man was maneuvering the whole ordeal like it was nothing. He first thought one was a business associate until he saw him grab her thigh and whisper into her ear. He did the same exact thing to the rest which he also kissed on the lips.
He was told to entertain the other with as many cocktails as possible and then she overheard her speaking on phone to her friends where she was bragging to be at some fancy hotel bar with her Mheshimwa boyfriend.
The guy just couldn’t believe it!
He started paying close attention to the guy who kept on pretending to be making phone calls. That’s when he noticed the guy’s PA was in the building…at the far corner with close view of the all the chicks. So his work was to call the guy after every 30 minutes.
The politician would in turn pretend the call was important and thus would leave the table, pretending to go pick the call. He would in turn move to the next chick.

Miss Kenya Nyamira county, Mercy Mokeira passed on this passed weekend after a short illness as reported by her family. The model died at the age of 23 years at the North Kinangop Hospital after battling with Marple’s, an inherited disorder in which the body is unable to process certain protein building blocks (amino acids) properly.
The model was pronounced dead at 11:30am on Saturday after being in hospital for almost two weeks. Her death came as a shock to her family,friends and colleagues who are still finding it hard to accept she is gone at such a oung age.
Through it all, even on her death bed the late Miss Kenya Nyamira was still trusting God for healing. Her last Whatsapp update was a short prayer where she was seen hoping that she would be healed.
However, she finally rested and was relieved of the pain her dad said she was complaining of. Her father, Josephat Momanyi, revealed his late daughter fell ill after a short trip to Tanzania, speaking to eDaily he said…
My daughter Mercy Mokeira’s health problem began when she returned to Nairobi from a function in Tanzania mid December 2016. She called me on phone and said she had symptoms of malaria. She also told me that she had visited medical facilities, but the doctors would see nothing wrong with her health.
But on Saturday afternoon his other daughter called him from North Kinangop Hospital informing him that Mokeira was no more.
On Saturday morning, I was yet to receive the results. Her sister told me Mercy Mokeira had woken up well but she was complaining of excessive body heat. At around 4:00pm Saturday, her sister called me on phone while crying and told me that Mokeira had not been talking and was pronounced dead at 11:30am. I called a doctor at North Kinangop Hospital who confirmed the heartbreaking news.

After medication she got better and went home. On mid- January she felt unwell and taken to a hospital in Gilgil then referred to North Kinangop Catholic Hospital where she wasn’t diagnosed with no ailment. At this time she was fatigued that she wouldn’t even talk or do anything by herself. Her blood samples were taken and sent to Nairobi for testing. On Wednesday this week the results shown that she was ailing something her sister told me was ‘marples’. She was put under medication till she died today Saturday 28th, at 11:30am this morning.”

Award winning movie producer Elvis Chuks assembled a team of top cream actors and actresses from across the continent to feature in a movie dubbed “All About Love”.
The movie was written and directed by Adze Ugah, the director of “Jacobs Cross”, “Isibaya” and “Mrs Right Guy”.

A wife is total distress after losing husband in the Friday Kulbiyow attack has made an appeal to president Uhuru.

A prostitute was killed on Tuesday January 24th by a client who had taken sex enhancing drugs. Witnesses say commotion was heard in the room where the deceased and the client were making out before the dead body was discovered.
A commercial sex worker called Janet Etim was killed by a client she was having intercourse with at a hotel room.
The deceased body was found in a room at De Love hotel in Lagos, Nigeria on Tuesday night; PM Express reports that an unidentified customer went into Etim’s room to have a quickie with her for a fee of 500 Naira or Kes 170.
Witnesses say they hard commotion coming from Etim’s room several minutes after the man entered; apparently the two were arguing because the man was taking too long to finish his business.
The man is believed to have killed Etim by knocking her head against the wall when she tried to force him out of her. He managed to slip away before he could be confronted by the hotel management.
The deceased was rushed to the hospital after she was found lying motionless in her room; she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Isolo General Hospital.
One prostitute caught a glimpse of the killer as he was leaving before she discovered what he had done; the hooker who approached the man for ‘business’, revealed that his manhood was still ‘hard’ when he walked out of De Love hotel and disappeared in the cover of darkness.
It’s barely a week since Savara was discharged from hospital and the well wishing messages he was receiving have turned to bitter comments from fans from his and Sauti Sol Instagram pages.

The First Lady yesterday January 26th attended the burial of her former classmate that took place in Kabete, Kiambu County.
Margaret Kenyatta joined other alumni of Kianda School to bid the final goodbye to Judith Nini Njaga Lacassagne; the deceased was in the same class with the First Lady at the prestigious Kianda School.
The late Mrs Lacassagne who died last Saturday morning is survived by her husband Ludovic Lacassagne and three children.
During the burial ceremony at Mwimuto village, the First Lady who was flanked by several other pioneers of Kianda School recited a shot poem in memory of the deceased who was eulogized as a talented poet and fine artist.
The First lady told mourners the late Mrs Lacassagne developed and nurtured her skills in poetry while she was a student at Kianda.
Mrs. Kenyatta was accompanied by area MP Ferdinard Waititu.
Julius Rigo made headlines after he clung on a chopper carrying Cord leader Raila Odinga; apparently the James Bond wasn’t hurt at all.
28-year-old Julius Rigo became Kenya’s second James Bond after he hung on a chopper’s landing skids and disappeared with it.

Rigo was not hurt unlike it was earlier reported, he was taken Maua Methodist Hospital for a medical examination and it turned out that he was just fine.
Police however arrested and charged him for endangering the lives of the people in the chopper he clung to as well putting his own life on the line.
Rigo told journalists that he clung on the chopper because he wanted to tell the Cord leader to give him a job.
“I am still appealing to Mr Odinga to try and secure me any job that will help me take care of my siblings,” Rigo told the press.

Al Shabaab’s military spokesman has revealed that the terror group has successfully seized a Kenyan military base at Kulbiyow, Somalia early today morning.
“Two mujahideen rammed suicide car bombs into the base in Kulbiyow town before storming it. After hand-to-hand fighting, we have taken over the base,” Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab, Al Shabaab’s military operation spokesman, was quoted by Reuters.
The number of casualties still remains unknown; the Kenyan government is yet to confirm the claim by Al Shabaab.
Today’s attack at Kulbiyow comes as a shock to Kenyans as only a year ago on 15th of January, Al Shabaab ambushed a Kenyan base at El Adde and killed over 60 soldiers.

The song stopped someone from taking their own life; Angel Bernard revealed this in an interview with Nairobi News.
“We thank God because we have been getting different testimonies from fans. One fan sent me a personal text saying they were to commit suicide on New Year’s eve because they were going through a difficult situation but after listening to ‘Huyu Yesu’, they found a reason to keep trusting in Jesus. It has been a blessing to us,”Angel Bernard revealed.

Eight months after a James Bond from Bunguma clung on a chopper carrying the remains of slain businessman Jacob Juma, another daredevil in Meru also hitched lift on a chopper carrying Raila Odinga.
Cord leader Raila Odinga has today visited Meru County to urge Kenyans to register as voters ahead of August 8th polls.
Residents in Maili-Tatu, Meru were shocked when a man clung on Raila’s chopper as it was taking off after the Cord leader concluded his meeting.
The chopper flew with the man hanging on it and disappeared from the horizon as residents watched in horror.

Kenya Air last Sunday January 22nd marked 40 years since it began operations. The national carrier announced it would offer its customers up to 40 per cent discount in a move aimed at steering it back to profitability.
But discount wasn’t the only announcement Kenya Airways would be making, KQ also announced first ever all-female flight deck crew would be flying a Boeing 787 Dreamliner from London to Nairobi.
Kenya Airways isn’t the first African airline to have an all-female flight deck crew; Air Zimbabwe was the very first.
Captains Chipo M. Matimba and Elizabeth Simbi Petros of Air Zimbabwe flew Boeing 737 from Harare to Victoria Falls in November 2015.
That same month 2015, KQ’s main rival, Ethiopian Airlines, made history as the first African airline to launch an all-women operated flight; from planning to ground service to the cockpit.
On November 18th, Ethiopia Airlines announced that for the first time in the company’s 70-year history, an all-female crew operated an intercontinental flight from Addis Ababa to Bangkok, Thailand.

Shock and fear has engulfed the prestigious Maseno School and this is after a woman reported that her brother had been sodomised by 3 form 3 and 4 boys.
The story as narrated by Rachael Njogu tells of how their brother is currently in a bad physical and mental state after undergoing the harrowing experience of being gang raped by fellow boys.
According to the Rachael, their elder sister who lives with the boy they got a call from the school administration sighting that the boy was very sick and he urgently needed medical attention. They sent Ksh 4000 which was used to cater for the medical bills.
After a couple of days, the administration called again saying that the boy’s condition had gotten worse and they needed to fetch him and take him to a hospital for specialized care.
Their elder brother went to the school and that’s when the boy confessed that he had been gang raped. The brother apparently reported to the nearby police station and then took him to hospital.

We called Maseno in regards to the matter and according to Agnes, the school secretary, they were fully aware of the news which according to them was just pure malice. According to her, the boy had a bladder issue and the school was suggesting that they pick up another school so as to manage the situation from home.

Mike Sonko has come out with guns blazing to deny claims by Kenya Union of Journalists that he had something to do with the violence.
The Nairobi senator issued a statement explaining that he was with President Uhuru far away from Nairobi urging Kenyans to register as voters when Kidero’s convoy was being attacked in Dandora.
“It is with deep shock that the Kenya Union of Journalists has today without verifying facts linked me to the violence that erupted during a political meeting convened by Dr. Evans Kidero in Dandora estate.”
“I wish to first condemn such acts of hooliganism and violence against innocent journalists who were on assignment. I wish them quick recovery. However, I wish to challenge KUJ for failing to carry out serious investigations on who might have invited the youths against the journalists.”
“Rushing to mention me without any meaningful investigations is only meant to tarnish my good name and to portray me as a violent leader.”
“It is very unfortunate that my name is being dragged into this silly incident yet by the time this was happening I was with H.E the president in Kitui, Embu, Runyenjes, Siakago and Kirinyaga for voters registration exercise.”
