Former Vitimbi actress Eunice Wambui popularly known as Nyasuguta has learnt her lesson the hard way; politics is dirty game and it’s not for the fainthearted.
The former Vitimbi actress quit acting to join politics; Nyasuguta is vying for Embakasi South parliamentary seat on a Jubilee ticket.
The wannabe MP was attacked on Friday 3rd by four goons while she was campaigning in Mukuru Kwa Ruben slums.
Nyasuguta is nursing bruises all over her body; she was bleeding from her ears and had breathing problems after the assault.
“Three men attacked me as one of them kept watch. They punched my face and hit me with a wooden rod on my neck and back. I kept telling them, take the money I had but they did not steal anything from me. One of them even told me, ‘Hatuna njaa ya pesa.’ They later told me that ‘Embakasi iko na wenyewe’,” Nyasuguta told Word Is.

There is drama brewing in Bongo and this is after the government cracked the whip on drug trafficking in the country.

Imagine Festival which was held in Embu College Campus on 4th February didn’t end well for Bahati who left fans VERY disappointed.

Tanzanian sweetheart Weka Sepetu has had it tough the past few days. She was seen reporting to a police station in Dar Es Salaam after being named among the top Tanzanian celebrities who are involved in drugs.

Event organizer Big Kev has been admitted to Nairobi Hospital where he underwent yet another surgery to save his life.
Big Kev requested to meet Jean Pierre Nimbona aka Kidum before he went under the knife at Nairobi hospital.
For the unacquainted, Big Kev has been battling recurring tumor for close to 7 years; he was first diagnosed with brain tumor in 2010. Since then Big Kev has had surgeries in his head at hospitals around the world to remove tumors that have been recurring.
Kidum was reduced to tears when he visited the sickly event organizer at Nairobi hospital; the Burundian singer sang for Big Kev before revealing God had spoken to him through the bedridden even organizer.
“Big Kev on his bed in Nairobi hospital told his family members that he would want to meet me before he is taken to a surgery ! First was Bruce Odhiambo who told me about a concert in carnivore about raising the funds for our friend Big Kev on this Friday but today Thursday everyone was calling me about the message Big Kev wanted to give me on his hospital bed . I couldn’t hold my tears after he spoke to me. God has spoken to me through him. He requested this song Nipe Nguvu ,” Kidum wrote.

In an emotional post she made on her instagram, she revealed that she realized on the same day that her heart was somewhere else and not with Rapper Izzo whom she was entitled to spend her whole life with.
On the 27th Nov 2016, Isaac and I did go to the altar to get married, but at the end of that day I realized one thing,i couldn’t do it my heart was somewhere else,

Now it seems this statement might have a bit flawed as revealed by Pastor Jackson Kingori of the Neema Gospel Church in Texas who officiated the wedding.
While speaking to Nairobi News, he claimed that wedding was indeed legal and the separation was not in way mutual as they had both signed the legal papers.
Eunice Njeri was supposed to take the document back to the registar for filling which she never did. She instead ran for the hills leaving her husband to be Izzo in total disarray.
And the pastor was not done yet, he also revealed that Eunice’s father was very much okay with the wedding contradicting earlier reports that came out this week.

Margret Kenyatta is very angry and I mean very angry with Kenyans and this is after they made her cancel the much awaited Beyond Zero marathon.
A couple of weeks back she was very excited about the initiative which is in its fourth year running. This year she was looking forward to running yet another marathon – a Gratitude Marathon which was to thank ordinary Kenyans, workers in the health sector, civil society, policy makers, the business community and international donors who have given Beyond Zero the inspiration and impetus it has needed to keep going.
Kenyans on the other hand were having none of it. They simply didn’t understand how the First Lady intended to have a marathon while there was an existing doctor’s strike which has been going on for weeks with no signs of coming to an end. This has led to many Kenyans dying and instead of concentrating on the marathon; Kenyans felt the first lady should have focused on that instead.

They are famous world over for their links with the Mexican and the Colombian cartels and are believed to on own major stake in the world drug business and right now there are making headlines all over after they were extradited to the States to face drug trafficking charges.
Stories are told of how everyone knows them in Colombia that they don’t even pay when they go to hotels or the bars and even whore dens…..their riches are also something to bedazzle over with many people believe they have so much money that they can’t even account for it….just like it was with Pablo Escobar.
But before the year 2000, little was known about the Akasha family who most of the time kept a low profile mostly concentrating on moving large consignments of drugs across the globe. A story is told of how One day in May 2000, Kenyan drug lord Ibrahim Akasha was walking hand-in-hand with his wife when a gunman on a motorbike sped by.
The two had just stepped into Bloedstraat (Blood Street), in one of Amsterdam’s red districts, when the man whipped out a pistol and fired at Akasha.
The bullets ripped through his face, tore his heart and abdomen. He slumped to the ground, dead.
Akasha’s death for the first time opened a window for a public peek into the operations of his trafficking empire in Kenya, and into the nasty underworld as gangland executions ensued in the Netherlands.
It was believed Akasha was caught in the crossfire of a vicious war between Dutch and Yugoslav gangs.
Media reports indicated Akasha had fallen out with Yugoslav barons active in the Netherlands and other parts of Europe over the non-payment of a consignment of heroin worth Sh200 million. Can you imagine that?
Some reports indicated Akasha was actually lured to Amsterdam to be killed, as the foreign drug barons had lost confidence in him. Other reports indicate that the same barons killed him to avoid paying money that they owed him for a shipment of heroin.
His troubles had started in 1996 when he was arrested and charged with drug trafficking in a Nairobi court. Newspapers splashed his pictures, and the publicity reportedly angered the barons who felt it could hurt their interests locally.
I know, it all sounds like a movie but that’s just a tip of the iceberg. The magic actually happens here in Kenya when his sons Baktash and Ibrahim hit the clubs.

Kenya is actually the least toxic country in the world. Can you imagine that?
Apparently data obtained from the International Energy Agency and World Health Organization (WHO) was used by renewable energy firm The Eco Experts in order to rank the most toxic countries in the world and Kenya emerged as the least toxic.
In an analysis that takes account of air pollution, energy consumption and renewable energy production Kenya toppled countries like Ireland and Denmark which otherwise you would assume take good caution not to pollute.
The ranking however did not include every country, with one notable omission being that of Iceland, which could have been lauded on the list. The Nordic’s country use of geothermal energy means air pollution levels are typically very low.
And it would be paramount to note that the cleanest countries were largely those from Sub-Saharan Africa, while countries in the Middle East dominated the other end of the list. Saudi Arabia was ranked as the most toxic country.
The Eco Experts describes the results of the research as a warning that continued emissions of greenhouse gases could cause disastrous and irreversible damage to the planet.
