Singer Benachi has finally been discharged from hospital according to an instagram post shared on his social media pages. The singer who was admitted about 12 hours ago and was kept under observation,at an unnamed hospital but he is now home with his wife and family in the United States.
Benachi had been hospitalized for an illness that is yet to be revealed. Judging from the photos shared by his wife on his Instagram it was clear that the singer was in a critical condition but thanks to the prayers offered by fans and family the singer is much better.

The community in this case refers to the new mother’s age mates (rika), and more importantly the grand parent’s age mates and close friends.
The Itega allows the community to meet the baby and celebrate her. This occasion is marked by plenty of food, a slaughtered goat or sheep that is then barbecued, singing and dancing galore and plenty of ululating.
Itega is held when the baby is old enough to deal with new people holding him/her. This is usually from 6 months+ depending upon the preferences of the parents. Having this ceremony too early is not advisable because the baby is passed and bounced around in all the excitement of welcoming her into the family.

Wife from hell sliced her husband’s manhood in the early hours of Thursday morning; the reason for the attack is totally ridiculous.
Angel Mutuku has been charged in a Mombasa court for causing bodily harm to her husband, Stephen Ochieng Oyuga.
Daily Nation reports that Angel attacked her husband on Thursday February 16th 2017 after having a quarrel.

The accused started the squabble when she slapped her husband in the back accusing him of sleeping for too long – that was around 5:30am.
Stephen reacted by slapping her back for waking him roughly, little did he know his action would result to the loss of his private part.
Angel went to the kitchen where she took a knife, grabbed the husband’s manhood and cut it off without hesitating.
Stephen was rushed to Bomu Medical Centre where he is receiving treatment; meanwhile his wife was taken to court on Monday February 20, 2017 where she pleaded guilty to cutting her husband’s manhood. Her case will be mentioned on February 22nd when the facts of the case will be read to her.

Robert says that he got to discover this last year when the president stepped out in the jacket during the Jubilee Party. This inspired him as a designer and could not believe that the president had purchased something created by a Kenyan designer.

The four roomed house which has been installed with solar power and a water tank, was built on her father’s farm by the German organization.

Charles Kanyi, popularly known as Jaguar worked for the government for three years before he quit, he has now moved to court to sue a government agency.
The singer recently resigned as a board member of the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) for personal reasons.
Jaguar has moved to court seeking to compel the National Transport and Safety Authority – NTSA to use alcohol tracking gadgets that can also test drugs. He said drug abuse contributes to road accidents.

Jaguar claims the spate of drivers causing accident on the roads is as a result of the government’s failure to come up with effective drug policy.
Jaguar believes the carnage on Kenyan roads can only be controlled if all drivers are screened, the reason why he wants NTSA to be compelled to come up with effective policy.
“It is common knowledge that the war on accidents and general drug use has failed to have a lasting effect and the use is now prevalent t the extent of school going children being influenced and becoming slaves and addicts,” Jaguar said.

Caroline Mutoko STRONGLY opposed the idea of 3.5 million shillings wedding for Ann and Wilson;
“So this couple wedded for 100/- We’ve decided NO! NO! we’ll throw you a 3.5m wedding & then let you walk back into your poverty. Why? Why?” Caroline Mutoko tweeted.
And true to Caroline’s warning, Ann Muhonja was spotted in Mwiki neighborhood with oversize slippers while she was counting some coins in her palm.
Ann and Wilson however might not live in their current neighborhood for long, Diamond Properties Merchants gave them a plot and a greenhouse worth Kes 1 million in Isinya, Kajiado County before their lavish Kes 3.5 million wedding.
Okay we are not sure if Tiffah Dangote has a sister on not but the Tanzanian online community believes that Kimmy Santo’s daughter could be Diamond Platnumz daughter, However, that has nothing to do with us despite the two girls having some striking resemblance especially around the mouth area.

According to Masterpiece he had taken a break from his music to concentrate in his studies. Now that he is done with high school the young man is back to inspire and speak with many of his fans through his music.
Baba Yao is a gospel song written by both DK Kwenye Beat and Masterpiece who took their ti,e to ensure that the message they were passing through to people was relevant and that one, that could help them as Christians.
Masterpiece has however been out of the game for a while but his come back has not let him down as he got to work with the best in the industry, enabling him to understand what people want to listen to.
Anyway judging from how his latest song sounds, we have no doubts that he will soon be playing in the same league as the likes of Bahati, Rufftone and the rest.

Their wedding was graced by family, friends and relatives who were pretty much excited to see the two walk down the aisle after waiting for so many years to do this.
Mzee Willy Kinya says that his wife has been his source of strength while Joyce was excited to have finally formalized their marriage infront of family and God. She went on to add that she was still in love with her hubby and even after being together for so many years her love for him never changed.
I have reason to believe that Mama Tumiso is either throwing in some weight or the lady is expecting another child, judging from the photos we managed to take while she was performing at the Two Rivers mall this past weekend.
First of all, the lady gave an amzing performance that left fans dancing to every song she was singing. Things got even better when her hubby joined her on stage to perform.
Well, looking at the lass I couldn’t help but notice that she had put on some weight and the outfit she stepped out in did not conceal this either.
She looked stunning in her tight crop top and high waist jeans while performing but after i finally received the photos on my desk earlier on I had to make sure that my eyes were not playing tricks on me.

A 22-year-old Kenyatta University student met his end on Saturday morning after he was found locked in a car he was trying to steal.
Vincent Akinga who was a student at KU Embu Campus was caught trying to steal a Mazda with registration No: KAQ 561W belonging to Silas Ngari Mwaniki who is the Principal Sergeant at Arms at the Embu County Assembly. The car had been parked in Kiambuthi estate in Embu.
The deceased was tempering with the vehicle’s ignition after unlocking its door when Mr. Mwaniki’s anti-theft alarm went on.
The Embu Principal Sergeant peeped from the window where he was only to see a man in his Mazda, he immediately locked the doors with his car fob and sounded the alarm.
Angry residents responded quickly and corned Vincent Akinga who still locked in the car; and when the doors opened, the mob descended on the KU student beating him everything they could get hold of.
The angry mob attacked Akinga with wood, metal rods while others hacked him with machetes until he lost his breathe.

The body of the deceased was taken to the Embu Level Five Hospital mortuary while the vehicle’s owner recorded a statement at the Embu Police Station.
I have tried finding out how old Sheila Mwanyigha is and not even Google (everybody’s best-friend) has the answer. No one knows how old the lass is apart from her family but we can only assume that she is in her late 30’s…Judging from how long she has been in the entertainment industry.

Kenyan artists can finally breathe a sigh of relief and this is after, Kenya Copyright Board stepped in to save the day.
As you are all aware, Music Copyright of Kenya (MCSK) which is charged with the responsibility of collecting royalties for all artists in currently not in operation and this is after their license failed to be renewed for this fiscal year.
As exclusively revealed here on Ghafla, they failed to submit the required audited accounts for them to continue being in operation.
This it comes out was a blessing in disguise for artists as the Kenyan Copyright Board (KECOBO) has taken this opportunity to organize forums for the public to finally come out and discuss what exactly they require from Collective Management Organizations (CMO’s).
The objective of this undertaking is to create a workable Collective Rights Management Regulatory framework that promotes transparency, accountability and good governance among Kenyan Collective Management Organizations (CMOs).
At present, there is no regulation that guides the promotion of the values of Transparency, Accountability and Good Governance in the Collective Management industry. If you can remember very well, one of the biggest setbacks that always befell MCSK was accountability and allegations of embezzlement.
The introduction of this regulation shall definitely improve the operations of CMOs through enhanced supervisory structures. It will set in place statutory parameters and standards for assessing the performance of CMOs as well as conditions and procedures under which a CMO can be put to task to prove its commitment to upholding the required standards of service delivery to its members/rights owners.
With proper laid down structures on dealing with CMO issues, the oversight body shall have effective and efficient means of addressing complaints and concerns raised in the industry and this will curb the excessive politicization of concerns raised by stakeholders case example the issues that were brought about by Elani the other day.
That time has finally come and all stakeholders are being called upon to be actively involved in deliberations and finalization of the draft before adoption.

He stepped up to the podium and took the opportunity to hail at Uhuru and how he had neglected boxing with his concentration only falling on rugby and athletics. That was right before he called Uhuru’s cousin to the same podium with a message to go and deliver to Uhuru personally something which angered the event MC Big Ted.
He allegedly stopped him midway and this brought them to near blows and it only took the intervention of the bouncers to stop them.

I just called Big Ted and according to him, Rueben had no right to say what he did. First of all sports is meant to unite people and not divide them and Rueben politicizing the event messed up with the whole agenda of the event.

Kenyans responded and financed Abdiaziz Aden’s trip to Mecca after he sent a video from India while undergoing cancer treatment.

An imposter pretending to be pretty cop Brenda Wanjiru has been busted swindling cash from unsuspecting Kenyans.
Purity Angel aka Precious Wangari has been charged in court on February 13th for obtaining money by false pretence; she sent cash appeal messages to people pretending to be cop Brenda.
Purity who posed as Brenda, sent messages to people on Whatsapp claiming that she had lost her 9-year-old daughter.
The impersonator, who was charged alongside Stephen Irungu alias Jeremy, will know their fate on March 15th 2017 when the court will be hearing the case.
Meanwhile the real Brenda Wanjiru cautioned fraudsters after she learnt that Purity had impersonated her and ‘killed’ her daughter in order to get money from Kenyans.
