Hot Female Singer Tells Us About The Awkward Bedroom Scene In Her Video

In the Ghafla! offices on Friday last week, we had an epic interview with the ex-Calif records artiste known as Choku. What made it particularly fascinating was that her friend and fellow singer Maida (pictured) popped in, and was willing for us to proceed to interrogate her. We found out that the sexy Maida has participated in a Miss Kenya competition before, and she has a song out as well called “Spare Tyre.”

Here is the video for ‘Spare Tyre’ (a Maich Blaq production):

{youtube}1JaGcV6ANdY{/youtube}

Cool story about this video: as you can see in the first verse, there is a scene where she appears to be naked in bed with a male model. Well, first of all, she tells us that she wasn’t completely naked, but she was scantily dressed regardless. This apparently made the male model quite a handful to work with. “He was so horny the whole time!” Maida told us, “it’s as if he wanted to do it there and then in front of the cameras. He couldn’t hold back!”

The male prop got over his hardness with time though, and they proceeded to shoot the video again, but there was just one more problem:

“The dog in the video was also turned on!” Maida said, “as if the model wasn’t enough, the dog was humping my leg during the shoot!”

Guess Who’s Gonna Replace Jalang’o On KISS 100 Breakfast?

So, in case you’ve been living under a rock, Jalang’o last week decided to quit his job as a radio presenter on KISS 100’s breakfast show. He also wrote a heartfelt letter to his fans and colleagues which touched many people as he left. Now it seems that KISS are not the type to sit around and mope over spilt milk. They have SWIFTLY replaced Jalas with another comedian by the name of…

Eric Omondi!

Eric made the news official in an announcement where he said:

“Tomorrow I start work on the Kiss 100 breakfast show alongside the gorgeous and sophisticated Caroline Mutoko and the beautiful Linda Nyangweso.”

Will Eric Omondi be an adequate replacement for Jalang’o? Leave your opinion in the comment section below:

VIDEO: See How Kenyan Hard Metal is Done

The Kenyan rock scene has steadily grown since the early 2000s when the first bands started cropping up. And with the introduction of the battle of the bands series and an all rock station, it grew even further.

One of the bands that came up during that period include Last Year’s Tragedy whose members met in university and were brought together by their common musical interests. The band is made up of Chizi (songwriter, lead vocals), Jose (guitar), Davie (guitar), Mahia (bass), Ruto (keyboard), Stan (drums) and Diallo (guitar, vocals).

The Killswitch Engage/As I Lay Dying/Of Mice and Men/P.O.D./Born of Osiris-inspired band has released its follow-up to Elephant in the Room, Generation Light. Check it out below.

Did you know Grandpa Records has Army ranks? Find out about them today

Grandpa Records is by no doubt taking over the Kenyan airwaves with hit after hit. I mean when it comes to making songs that have a great impact to the society (especially in our dialogues), these guys don’t play.

Some of the biggest artiste from the Grandpa Family are DNA, Kidis, Amileena and Dogo Bigi just to mention a few. These and more are some of the rappers and singers that have helped put Grandpa Records at the position they are in right now. One of the most successful and recognised recording studio in Kenya.

With hits like ‘Fimbo chapa’, ‘Twajichanganya remix’ and ‘Maswali ya polisi’, Grandpa Family is a force to reckon.

This afternoon, the founder of the recording studio, Refigah, will be at the 1FM studios for the sexy voiced Tina Kaggia’s Drive Show, where he will be revealing most of Granda Records plans, and basically what they are about.

Refigah will even be revealing the army ranks that the Grandpa Family have. Now, this I can’t miss.

Renowned Blogger to Sue TNA for Stealing Photos For Its Billboards

In yet another looming court battle involving an artiste and a major political party, The National Party (TNA) faces court summons after renowned photographer and blogger, Michael Khateli, has threatened to sue TNA after the political party fraudulently used his photos without his consent.

According to Khateli, TNA has continued popularizing itself with the photos on their billboards on Jogoo Road in Nairobi. Khateli says that he spoke to TNA’s national chairman, Johnson Sakaja and immediate former MP for Makadara Mike Sonko about the issues but they have not done anything concerning the issue.

This case comes barely a fortnight after another artiste took ODM to court for failing to pay him Sh6 million for songs he composed for the party’s campaigns. For now, Khateli is hunting for a good lawyer to represent him in seeking legal redress. Click HERE to see the photos in contention.

Did Kiss 100 Poach Adelle O From 1FM?

The question on everyone’s lip is: Did Kiss 100 poach Adelle from One FM?

The radio superstar’s departure from One FM was to put it aptly, sudden. She announced her departure late last week then started working at Kiss 100 today? Let me put this into perspective: when your woman leaves your house and after the weekend surfaces in another man -say Kone Sekou’s house, she had been seeing him behind your back making arrangements for her departure.

And so like a jilted ex, One FM can only watch jealously as Adelle takes her savvy to the competition. Already, Adelle’s effect is being felt on Kiss as her show is already playing more local content that was played previously in a whole month! Goodstuff.

This should be interesting as her time slot has her going head to head against her erstwhile colleague Tina Kagia in what will prove to be a mouth watering clash as they fight for the same crowd!

Why CCK Shut Down Royal Media’s Transmitters

Saturday, the Communications Commission of Kenya (CCK) shut down six broadcast transmitters in four different locations belonging to Royal Media Services (RMS). Prior to the action, CCK had issued RMS with a notice to cease operating or face the full force of the law.

According to CCK;

1.    RMS was operating the six broadcast transmitters using unauthorized frequencies and without the required licences in blatant breach of the law.

2.    The 17 transmitters in question are being operated using self-assigned or ‘grabbed’ frequencies.

3.    Some of the transmitters are located in non-designated broadcasting sites thus causing harmful interferences to duly licensed services including broadcasters

4.    Transmissions from these illegal stations are also causing interferences in neighbouring countries, eliciting complaints from regulators in the region.

5.    The safety of the airspace has in recent times come under threat as the illegal transmitter stations have on a number of occasions caused interferences to radio communication between pilots and the control tower. CCK alleged that it has received numerous complaints from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) as well as from the national carrier, Kenya Airways, about threats to the safety of our airspace due to interferences emanating from these illegal transmitters.

Yesterday, however, the High Court restrained CCK from switching off the stations pending hearing from both sides arguing that the move by CCK to switch off the transmitters would adversely affect the business of RMS as well as the right of Kenyans to receive information.

DJ Kamjo loses expensive DJ equipment after hijack ordeal

DJ Kamjo was on Thursday night left in shock and loss after his car was hijacked by thugs.

Kamjo had lent his car to his close colleague who was to transport event equipment. While driving through Kasarani Estate, the lady was ambushed by thugs who immediately put her into the boot and sped off.

The DJ told Ghafla!: “The lady is Caro and she’s a colleague. I work with her – she manages the day to day operations of the business.

They carjacked her as she was picking a cable from a collegaue dj in Kasarani outside his gate. The equipment was dropped in Dandora from what she could make out in the conversation and she was dropped in Uthiru – Kabete area.

Both the car and equipment was insured and the insurers are already investigating the claim so as to pay incase of no recovery. I would urge fellow DJs to insure gear as well, incidents of DJs attacked have become common. I would also urge them to desist from buying second hand gear which they can’t authenticate, it just fuels the stealing.”

The Bootyful Socialite in “You Guy” Video Releases Her Photos with Akon

She has become one of the most popular socialite in showbiz in the recent days, thanks to her role in P-Unit’s “You Guy” video that stirred a lot of controversy. What’s however least known to the public is that the bootyful Vera Sidika aka Vee Beiby was popular pre-You Guy though away from the limelight.

So popular is the socialite that she now charges to appear in an interested artiste’s video. And the popularity isn’t cheap because she reaps mullah out of it if her BMW Z3 Roadster is anything to go by. Now, today, Vera released never-seen-before photos of herself with Akon and even posed with his highly-priced “Konvict” chain. Now you know that she was in company of Akon at the Ole Sereni when the artiste was in the country. Take a look;

Wardrobe Malfunction Leaves Former TPF Contestant Exposed!

Chege Miati was enjoying his passtime over the weekend and stumbled across this photo from a rather dubious site…The site is Kenyan List.

And the photo is of none other than former TPF 2 contestant Nakaaya Sumari chilling out without knickers on. For those of you who don’t know Nakaya, she is a Tanzanian songstress who at some point had a whirlwind romance with one half of Dead Prez (M.I) before the flame of that short lived romance blew out.

Well, here she is, i present to you, an exposed Nakaaya… Shameful really. I suspect that this will dent her public image quite abit though!

Filmmaker Uses Kenyan Pirates to Distribute His Film

For Drury University Filmmaker in Residence Patrick Mureithi, his message is more important than box-office receipts. When it came time to spread his documentary, Kenya: Until Hope Is Found, throughout his home country in December of 2012, he didn’t approach movie theaters. He turned to DVD pirates.

To reach as many people as possible, Mureithi gave the film to street vendors who, since then, have been selling, and in some cases, giving the film away. He receives no royalties from these sales. “My reasoning was that since they have the most efficient distribution system in Kenya, then they would be able to get the film into as many hands as possible,” said Mureithi. “As I type, their vendors are selling the film country-wide for less than 80 shillings (approx $1).”

Juliani’s Documentary, Connections

Mureithi started this project after the 2007/8 post-election violence in Kenya left more than 1,200 people dead and 500,000 displaced in his home country. His goal is to understand how to confront unresolved trauma and heal before the March 2013 elections.

Daddy Owen Shooting Documentary

He has released an early version of the 60-minute documentary in advance of the upcoming elections in an effort to stave off another round of violence. Film critic Roger Ebert called the work “an urgent documentary by a filmmaker I admire.”

Mureithi, based in Springfield, Missouri, USA, plans to visit Kenya from February 10th to the 23rd to meet with reporters and promote the film across the country.

Just A Band Documentary Gets More Funding

Pulse Writer Smitta Smitten Declares He Has Beef With DNG Then Attacks Him!

Smitta Smitten is back to taking shots at Kenya’s top artists and boy did he go H.A.M on DNG! Going as far as brazenly stating that he does indeed have beef with the recently saved artist.

Smitta says that a man cannot keep hiding behind the “shroud of Turin” everytime temptation comes his way. Basically, Smitta has called out DNG and asked him to stop blaming his “six years in the dark” and take responsibility for all the choices he made during those years he turned his back on salvation.

He seemed exasperated by DNG’s statement that the past 6years have been about “celebrity, booze and funny women” even though he only had his breakthrough in the industry during his 6years in the wilderness.

Andit doesn’t end there, he tears into DNG some more saying that it wouldn’t shock him to see DNg backslide and lip back into the clutches of the wilderness because he’s like a child in high school who joins Christian Union where he gets saved in term one, backslides in term two then rediscovers the joy of salvation because of exams! Ouch!

But the question remains: is Smitta angry with DNG because the latter decided to get saved?

Catch Ma3 Live & Free This Week

After Just A Band‘s electric performance last week, the Ma3 band will make their debut on the Thursday Nite Live at Choices Pub & Restaurant stage this week on 7th February between 8:00 and 11:00 p.m.

Ma3 is a six-piece, quirky Afro Pop band from Nairobi that borrows its name from the public transport mini-vans that very common in cities in Kenya and all over Africa.

The group is made up of vocalist Julia, electric guitarist Kato, acoustic guitarist Karimi, keyboardist Tim Rimbui, bassist Alan Wanjohi and drummer Muraya.

The band has previously played Sauti Za Busara Festival in Zanzibar, Kinanda Arts Festival, Blankets & Wine, All That Jazz and smaller shows around Nairobi. They featured as the house band for the Patricia Show on MNET and the 2011 Tusker Project Fame.

Their sound is that of young, contemporary, urban Africa; mixing soulful English and Swahili lyrics with spell binding guitar riffs built on a solid rhythm section.

Former Citizen TV Presenter Now On Classic 105

Popularly known for wooing viewers to participate in Citizen TV’s “Tazama Chapaa” and “Bonyeza Ushinde na Safaricom”, associate journalist/presenter, Shiko Kaittany made her debut at Classic 105 this morning. The ever bubbly Shiko left Citizen TV to take up the mid-morning slot on Classic 105.

Shiko takes over from Larry Asego, who according to sources, will be moved to the drive show on the same station. Shiko previously had a stint on radio on Hot 96 back in 2010 and so this will just be a walk in the park for her.

Ghafla! wishes Shiko Kaittany the very best in her new career.

Robert Alai Attacked In A Rather Nasty Manner!

Rabble rouser Cabu Gah is back. Yeah, the same lad who tore into the Kenyan gospel artists is back and this time he has his sights set on controversial blogger Robert Alai.

And as usual, he doesn’t pull any punches. But honestly, i can’t convey all the emotions that have been poured into the open letter as well as Cabu Gah has so let me let you read this from the horses pen… or keyboard.

“LETTER TO ROBERT ONYANGO ALAI

Goodmorning Bugger….err,Blogger…

Hope U had a goodnight last night…though I pity the unfortunate matress that has to PUT UP with You Every Night!
Hope You had a nice breakfast too…how I pity the unlucky spoon/fork that is forced to make endless trips to Your mouth…the same mouth which spits more shit than a baby’s anus…

I have been checking up your incruciatingly annoying FB updates and Boy,DONT YOU SUCK!!!

I hear You are BIG in twitter…am on twitter too BUT I DONT FOLLOW YOU! Because, honestly speaking, following You is like following a sewage pipe! We all know where it takes You! I also hear you have many followers on twitter…Well, even Hitler had millions of followers…BUT DONT BE FLATTERED…Many of those followers are people who would be more than ready to throw You in a gas chamber and walk away singing,”I’ve had the time of My Life……”

Brother,Do You have a history with mental breakdowns??

Its sad that Your IQ is lower than Kalembe Ndile’s ranking in the CORD Alliance…

Your updates /tweets are full of egoism, hate speech, bullshit, tribalism, falsehoods, propaganda, lies and cheap gossip ! You should NOT ONLY be blocked frm Social Media, but blocked from breathing as well!

You once tweeted;
“I am down on my knees praying that people continue to be RAPED and ROBBED in Kileleshwa so they will wake up to the Insecurity!!” Really? Did You say RAPED?? Do You even have sisters? Or female relatives?? B*st*rd! If the Devil ever formed a political alliance, you’d definately be his running mate! Sucker!

Yesterday You updated;
“JUBILEE uses kids in campaigns. I guess they will use them in war also. These kids know nothing about the choices forced on them!!” JESUS! What propaganda! Well,Alai uses toilet paper to wipe his a**…I guess he will use the same paper to wipe his mouth too…that paper knows nothing about the choices forced on it!

Again You updated;
“JUBILEE just picked some white IDLER out there and paraded him like some foreign investor who wil change this country” Hey,it takes an IDLER to know an IDLER! I bet that mzungu idler does more in a day than You have done since 2013 began!!

And again You have just updated:
“I also learnt of William Ruto in GHC.I was still in primary school,in class 7. When he was terrorizing everyone in 1992” Wow! The Question here is : YOU MEAN YOU WENT TO SCHOOL???

And again You updated:
“People want you to fight tribalism but they see NOTHNG WRONG with a KIKUYU succeeding Kibaki “

Another Update:
“Raila is a greedy man who is more interested in going into STATE HOUSE than leading Kenyans”

And this amazing one:

“Your Children will NOT be successful just because You named them after Obama,Rihanna,Jay Z, ALAI or Kemboi. Nurture them! “

The Fuck?? Were You even nurtured Yourself?? Sounds like Tarzan had a better upbringing in the Jungles than You did in a human environment!

Did You just classify Yourself alongside Obama,Jay Z and Rihanna??? Nigga please,My Ex sells torn underwears in Muthurwa AND SHE IS MORE successful than You!

.Spreading hate speech and lies on social media IS NOT being successful!

.Peddling falsehoods and propaganda IS NOT being successful!

.Inciting Kenyans IS NOT being succesful!

.Fanning tribal flames IS NOT being successful!

OBAMA is SUCCESSFUL. All You have is SUCK-S*X-FOOL !!!

Listen here:

.We are SICK of your lies,SICK of your propaganda,SICK of your inflammatory utterances,SICK of your hate speech,SICK of your cheapness, tribalism, bullshit AND crap!

Have a Good Day!

Its a shame we have to SHARE the Day!!!”

PHOTOS: On the Set of Juliani’s Voter vs. Vulture Video Shoot

Hip hop sensation, Juliani, is just shooting the video for Voter vs. Vulture, which was meant to have come out last week.

Voter vs. Vulture is part of the campaign Kama Si Sisi attitude change initiative that gears towards using music and creative space through young people aiming at making their surrounding better than they found it.

The song will highlights the youth’s perspective of leadership as Juliani found out from his Mtaa Tour lunch meetings. The single expresses the urgent need to be informed voters, to shun the vultures that have led our country to the arms of bad governance, leadership and political environment, with a strong message of peace, knowledge and a plight to Kenyans to vote wisely.

Below you can check out photos from the video shoot in Mathare, with more locations around Nairobi coming up. From the images, looks like activist, photojournalist and PAWA 254 founder, Boniface Mwangi, is going to be in the video.

Korean Choir Sings a Popular Swahili Song Hilariously But Flawlessly

The Korean people are said to pay attention to the skills of speaking a language and when I first watched this video I wasn’t so surprised having heard some Chinese guy on Thika Road conversing in not so fluent but coherent Swahili.

Now miles away in Korea, there’s a choir that sings in perfect Swahili than most of the natives here. Known as Gracias Choir, the Korean Choir a while back sang, “Cha Kutumaini Sina”, a popular longstanding Gospel song Bible Crusade in Brooklyn, NY and it came out just perfectly.

The choir even throws in some theatrics that gives the performance a great humour. Check out below;

“Kenyans Reading Celebrity Tweets”: The Video That Offended Many Kenyans

It was a weekend where Kenyans got together to support their rugby team and hate on Jimmy Kimmel, the American late night show host.

Jimmy Kimmel Live is fond of getting the unlikeliest of people to read tweets: from grandma’s reading Kanye’s tweets, toddlers reading 50 Cent’s tweets to celebrities reading offensive tweets about themselves. Now the comedian has come up with Kenyans Reading Celebrity Tweets.

Maybe what #KenyansOnTwitter–who are known to be very vocal–found offensive was this kinda misleading statement he used to introduce the skit.

I have a friend who started a great charity organization called CTC International. They help people in Kenya: they educate them, build schools, medical centers, farms. But what they don’t have there is Twitter. Internet penetration access is very limited. So, we decided to get them involved the old-fashioned way through verbal communication. And with that said, I give you Kenyans Reading Celebrity Tweets.”

Read more #KOT News here.

The video itself, I thought was amusing but not as funny as the other ones in the tweet series, but it’s kinda understandable why some people would still get upset over it. It’s comedy but kinda stings. See “rural” Kenyans Reading Celebrity Tweets below.

Here Is A List Of All The Talent 1FM Has Lost In One Year Alone!

Baba Ghafla and i were recently analyzing Media Stream (the parent company of both One FM and Hits FM) and I was alarmed at the amount of talent lost either because they were let go or because they opted to leave.

Don’t get me wrong, they still have radio heavyweights in the form of the petite Tina Kagia but they have lost alot in the past year. From radio presenters to technical staff.
And here’s a list of those who have exited both 1FM and Hits FM:
Pierra Makena of “The Sherrifs” DJ unit.

pierra-sitted-1.jpg

Olivia Otieno who has had a stint on either side of the radio industry: both as a presenter and as an administrator. She was let go off by Media Stream and replaced by her ex John Wilkins… Awkward…

OO.jpg

Bamzigi hosted the exciting show “Make You Famous” which was the talk of the town because he managed to get showbiz sirens such as Avril to open up about their preferred sexual style… Mhmm… He chose to leave.

Bamzigi.jpg

Marcus Olang was host of their morning show alongside Tina Kagia before Olivia Otieno decided to let go of him. The decision still buffles me baceasue to be honest, i liked the pairing and chemistry he shared with Tina.

pulsecap200412_02.jpg

Adelle O chose to walk away from her show which aired in the afternoon. The show was popular and is now hosted by the only other presenter who can hold the attention of her audience: Tina Kagia. Adelle was both a presenter and the HR manager at Media Stream.

adelleo.jpeg

Koome Gitobu he held the afternoon slot on Hits FM (1 FM’s sister station) but chose to leave. Why is an answer i cannot furnish. His segment saw him hook people up with job offers and giving them advice from young professionals.

Prostitute steals Ksh. 1.2 million and a pistol from a KDF officer after being ‘fungwad’

Things are not going so well for one KDF officer since last week. After what happened to him some few days ago, he is confident to lose his job and pretty much everything else.

This story should not amuse you. It is indeed very sad. This Senior KDF Officer thought that he may enjoy and reward himself with the fruits of his dangerous labour by heading over to a pub and having a few for the road, having being payed just recently.

So, with Sh. 1.2 million in pocket and a pistol strapped to waist, he set out on a quest to find the finest whore around, with some alcohol to keep him warm ofcourse.

With that much confidence in your pockets and waist, getting what you want isn’t really that hard. Successful he was. With a fine prostitute in his arms and more alcohol for the rest of the night, they retired to the hotel room nearby.

Morning came and alas! Gone was the woman, together with the Sh. 1.2 million and pistol.

The army man was left interrogating the pub staff about the whereabouts of the woman.

Former 1FM Presenter, Adelle Onyango, is Now Engaged

Right after leaving her job as 1FM radio presenter, Adelle Onyango is now engaged.

Dr. Christopher Obwaka proposed to the poet and activist against sex crimes on Friday during her birthday dinner. The couple had been really good friends for six years but had only been dating since mid-2012.

Adelle, who is also an artiste manager and founder of the NO MEANS NO campaign, left her job as the drive show host last week. Her next destination in radio is yet to be officially announced. Check out the photo of the ring Dr. Obwaka gave her during the engagement below.

Kenya’s Sexiest TV Anchors Savagely Attacked

They are what Mr. Majani likes to refer to as “Kenya’s screen sirens” because they are the sexiest anchors of our time on Kenyan TV. Conversely, some guy called Opiyo isn’t pleased with the way Janet Mbugua, Ann Kiguta, Grace Msalame, Julie Gichuru and Lillian Muli dress for the screen, in his words, “regalia u (sic) embedded on ur (sic) body laminated your anatomy in a cohesive and jealous manner. It stalked your physique, tracing every contour that is depicted in your fauna…”

I saw his hilarious letter in yesterday’s Buzz and the guy didn’t mince his words about the top female anchors. Take a look;

Now, behind this hilarity is actually a hint that our female news anchors have crossed a line of what exactly is decent and trashy, what should be worn in the studio and at the club. I am forever seeing these female anchors dress in a manner to suggest that they are hitting the club immediately after, and I have met several wearing the same dress and make up.

I am all for freedom to wear what you want but I believe there should be a line. No, it was not my mother who forced me to write this or some other “old school” guys, I just believe that when it comes to News, content is king and that is what should draw one to listen and not what the anchor is wearing.

When breasts are literally holding on to dear life and just a sneeze will send them spilling out, I believe that a line has been crossed. When a parent cannot watch the News with their teenagers because all you can see are the anchor’s body contours, then, we have a problem.

It has got so bad that watching the News these days sparks fights at home when the man seems to be drooling over what Janet Mbugua, Ann Kiguta, Grace Msalame, Julie Gichuru or Lillian Muli are wearing.
What, do tell, do exposing your thighs have to do with Cord or Jubilee’s manifesto? What has a dress that leaves nothing to imagination got to do with Equity Bank’s profit margin and the price of milk?

Call it competition, I call it the “dumbing down of our news” and this is a dangerous precedent we are setting in this country. Yes, I am a straight red blooded male and such sights should have my tongue wagging, and they do; but after all is said and done, what does that achieve?

I thought brains come first and we should judge our newscasters – allow me to paraphrase Martin Luther King – not by the size of their boobs but the content of their gray matter.
Such dressing has no place in a newsroom where you are trying to analyse and shape the national agenda. The argument I get mostly is that they are dressed to attract the younger population into watching the news. That is the wrong way to go about it. Even they know that if they want to know what’s happening in the country, they know the news is where they will get it.

Do you see teachers dressed like that to attract kids to school? Such flawed thinking should be addressed. I am not suggesting they dress like my grandmother; they can still be stylish without necessarily being trashy.

Even CNN, where most news anchors get their inspiration from, has managed to control how their anchors dress and they are successful. They did not have to dress in a certain way to attract viewers from across the globe.

We know your dresses are expensive and you shop in Milan or wherever, just make sure when you visit our homes every night, you are not dressed like you will need some form of payment before you leave.

Classic 105 Morning Show Women Fans Unsympathetically Addressed

It’s without a doubt that Classic 105’s breakfast show, “Maina and King’ang’I in The Morning” is the biggest morning show on Kenyan radio. Now, every morning, the duo, Maina Kageni and Mwalimu King’ang’i try to solve your relationship issues and boy, some of the calls received will leave you wondering how on earth some things take place. It now appears, women are the biggest fans of this show going by the number of calls they make during the show.

Apparently, somebody has not been taking lightly the ladies’ opinion about the male species during the show and decided to address them since everyone else seems to have turned a blind eye to it. Take a look;

Morning Married Woman,

I heard You call into the Maina Kageni Classic 105 show, I heard You lamenting about how Your Man is lousy in bed, I heard you broadcast your Man’s weaknesses to the public, I heard You jeering at Your Man, leering at Your Man, lambasting and deriding Your Man ON NATIONAL RADIO! I heard You, Woman!

According to You, he’s a dog!
According to You, he’s lousy!
According to You, he is the reason Marriage sucks!
According to You, ALL MEN are jerks, idiots!

BUT HEY,
Maina will NEVER give Your Man a reason to come home early, THATS YOUR JOB!
Maina will NEVER tell Your Man how to make love to You, THAT’S YOUR JOB!
Maina will NEVER tell your Man what turns you on, THATS YOUR JOB!
Maina will NEVER remind your Man it’s your birthday/anniversary, THATS YOUR JOB!
Maina will NEVER enlarge your Man’s manhood, ITS NATURE. You either PUT UP with it or SHUT UP!
Maina will never spice Up your sex life, THATS YOUR JOB!

My dear Lady,
It’s about time You started appreciating that Man…It’s about time You started loving that Man like You used to….It’s about time You started treating him like You used to.,. It’s about time You started thanking God for that Man…It’s about time You rekindled that LOVE!

Ask Michelle Obama the stuff she’s been through, AND YET HER MARRIAGE is still going strong!
Ask Hillary Clinton the stuff she’s been through, AND YET HER MARRIAGE is still going strong…
Ask Jada-Pinkett Smith what stuff she’s been through, AND YET HER MARRIAGE is still going strong!

Hey,
Quit Bitching!
Quit whining!
Quit complaining!
Quit grambling!

Before you JUDGE and CURSE your Man, try to UNDERSTAND and BLESS Him!
Maybe, YOU ARE THE REASON HE’S THE JERK HE IS!

You have a choice;
Either choose to entertain the Nation with stories on how crappy Your Man is, OR choose to entertain HIM with stories on How Blessed You are to have Him!

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!!!

WISE Women are busy trying to make their marriages work, while STUPID women are busy seeking advice from a clownish Radio Presenter—who is NOT even Married!

Kenya’s Version Of Bendover? Madtraxx Explains His New Track

Madtraxx was on Homegrown with Mwalimu Sonnie this Sunday and they were discussing his new club banger “Kumerera” and he opened up about the name of the track and the influence behind the song.

The song was inspired by a need to be different. A need to experiment with different genres of music. And boy did he ever! Madtraxx called upon his alter ego to do the track and deliver he did. There were no inhibitions. Then he was asked about the name. Well, according to Maddy, the track is Kenya’s version of “Bend Over”.

That got me thinking…Hmmm.. I said to meself, what does the title mean. And so i called upon the expertise of Cinju our resident Kikuyu expert and asked her. Apparently, Kumerera means creeping aorund. Not the TLC creeping though. Then she clarified further that given what Maddy said about the track, the title could be a play on a rather similar sounding Kikuyu word: “Komerera”.

Komerera would mean uhm… literally “lie on me”. I instantly fell in-love with the track. And listening to the lyrics, one is hard pressed not to see and acknowledge the explanation offered. With that, “Komerera” seems legit. Adam Wagwau seems to like the psychedelic video… I just like the movement of the girls. Shallow? Maybe. But care i do not. Watch the video below and let us know what you think about it in the comment section. Personally, i have it on repeat.

Top Kenyan Artist Confesses About His Addiction To P0rn0graphy!

I read this story in Zuqka and i was shocked! Not shocked about the fact that the lad was addicted to P0rn, after all, top Kenyan gospel artist A-Star confessed to being addicted to p0rn and m4sturbation but what was shocking was how young he was.

The artist in question is none other than Solexx Mgenge. And in his interview he confessed to being addicted to p0rn0graphy from when he was in STD 5! That would mean that he was 11 yrs old!

And in his interview, he claimed that his mother was his salvation. She stumbled upon his collection and decided to deal with him. Before he knew what was happening, he was attending counselling sessions.

When he was asked about whether he still feels the need to see p0rn videos, he claimed that he no longer has those cravings. I wish the lad well knowing full well how an addiction can take control of your life and drive you off course.

Here is that excerpt of the interview courtesy of Zuqka:

Solexx

You told me about something that you thought would be beneficial to share with the world — about a past addiction you had. What was it, and how did it begin?

I was addicted to p0rnography. It all started way back when I was in primary school, to be specific Standard Five. Our neighbour’s son, who was in high school at the time, came home with a variety of video cassettes and one happened to have adult content.

Out of curiosity we (other children and I) locked ourselves in the house when our parents were out and watched the whole tape. At first it was fun, but it started affecting my school work since not a day would pass without me watching or reading p0rnographic stuff.

The fact that you became addicted to p0rn means you did not think it was wrong. What made you realise that it was indeed a problem?

I came back to my senses while in Form Two when I first landed in trouble with my mum after she found a p0rn DVD in my wardrobe. She took me to see a counsellor. I attended several sessions but, to be honest, it was difficult getting over the addiction since all my friends were still watching it.

How did you begin to turn yourself around?

I realised I was spending a lot of money buying and downloading p0rn0graphic stuff. I had about 100GBs of p0rn videos on my laptop; my screen saver and wallpaper on my phone were of naked girls. I started by deleting all these.

Probably many people do not understand what is wrong with p0rn0graphy. Would you give them your thoughts on why it is bad?

What many people never realise is that you waste too much time watching it, yet it is useless. See, when you watch p0rn, the next move would be to now try the real thing. That is why in Kenya we have school dropouts due to unplanned pregnancies, and HIV/AIDS inasambazwa sana.

And now, the Voodoo Seller is back with some more voodoo (video)

He might just be one of the fastest rappers that are currently taking over the Kenyan airwaves. I mean this guy spits lines fast like a jilted woman.

He goes by the name VoodooSeller and he got it all. The rhymes, the flow, presence, he even got himself some serious swag. I’ve always heard about Voodooseller in the Kenyan music circles, especially when you talk about the likes of Khaligraph Jones and Kayvo KForce.

Now I understand why his name always falls among those of high rated Kenyan rappers. This guy got mad skill.

How he flips his lyrics through his light tongue so fast in the first verse gets you locked onto what else he has to offer in the song. The song by the way is titled ‘Hip Hop Politics’ and is all about what goes on around the hip hop scene.

Pretty good! Kudos VoodooSeller. This is burning hot.
