Has Comedian Dr Ofweneke called off his engagement to his baby mama Nicah?

Rumor has it that Comedian Dr Ofweneke and his baby mama Nicah the queen are no longer together meaning that their engagement was called off.

However , this is not true as revealed by the comedian. I reached out to him this afternoon and Dr Ofweneke says that he is still with his baby mama Nicah the queen refuting the stories being published around by a local publication.

As much as he refuted this, I couldn’t help but notice that he no longer posts his ‘fiances’ photos on social media like he did before. Just recently Nicah celebrated her birthday and shockingly Dr Ofweneke did not celebrate her as he did last year.

Nicah the queen on the other hand has been hinting that she has a new admirer who sent her a birthday cake a few days ago. This has left question marks as we are not sure who is telling the truth.

Anyway with the little information shared by Dr Ofweneke, we can confirm that the two are still together and are happily raising their daughter together. Nicah on the other hand has not yet a new song after dropping her first song that touched many.

Chipukeezy joined Kiss FM about about four years ago, he used host to the Big Breakfast alongside Caroline Mutoko and Linda Nyangweso.

And when Caroline bowed out of the Big Breakfast in 2014, Chipukeezy and Linda joined Jeff Mote to host The Drive which runs from 3 p.m. through to 7 p.m.

Chipukeezy has officially quit Kiss FM today March 7^th 2017, he penned an emotional letter to his former workmates explaining how he was grateful for working with them for the entire time he was at Kiss FM.

The lass says that she has been at peace for a while now and has not been hitting the gym for quite sometime now. Wema Sepetu jokingly added that her man has refused to accompany her to the gym since he fears that he will be starring at her the whole time as she works out.

He was the oldest and largest elephant in Kenya but he’s no more…the sad unfortunate story of Satao II

Satao II is no more; just like the other big tusker he was named after; he has perished in the hands of poachers.

One of Kenya’s last tusker elephants, Satao II’s body was found during a routine aerial reconnaissance by the Kenyan Wildlife Service (KWS) near the Voi River in Tsavo East National Park, according to the Tsavo Trust, a nonprofit conservation group which helps manage the park.

It is still unclear what killed the behemoth creature but Tsavo trust has reason to believe he was shot with a poisoned arrow.

Named after a famous tusker elephant killed in the same area in 2014 named Satao, it is thought Satao II was feeding near the boundary of the park when he died in January, but poachers had not had time to retrieve his ivory before he was found.

He was killed in a well-known hotspot for poachers that same spot being the same place Satao was killed.

Tusker elephants, so-called because they have tusks weighing more than 45kg, are particularly desirable to poachers because they produce so much ivory meaning they are critically endangered.

According to Richard Moller, of the Tsavo Trust, there are only about 25 of the giant tuskers remaining in the world. About 15 of these are in Kenya.

One of Satao II’s tusks weighed 112 pounds, and the other 110 pounds. Each tusk estimated to be worth over $130,000 (£85,000).

Fortunately, KWS agents worked with rangers from the trust managed to track the gang leading to a raid shortly after Satao II was found, where two poachers were arrested and an AK47, 12 poisoned arrows and three bows.

In a statement on their website, the Tsavo Trust said: “Although this is a very sad loss in every way, we can take some positive from this in that Satao II’s carcass was indeed found with the ivory intact and recovered before it could fall into the wrong hands and further fuel the illegal ivory market.

Satao II was 50 years old.

When a person adds weight, this only means they are comfortable and with less issues bothering their minds. Well, I guess Size 8 is one of those people. She recently shared a post saying that since has gained a lot weight since she got married to DJ Moh, who also seems to have thrown in a couple of pounds.

The singer who is also a mother of one beautiful girl, Ladasha Belle, shared a photo of her hubby working out in their compound but what caught my attention is her caption which she wrote to say,

Looking at their photos, it is quite evident that the two have been gaining weight. As for Size it’s understandable since her body changed after welcoming her first child. However, the singer wants to get her body back but it is not as easy as she thinks.

Johnson Mwakazi lands new job at a different TV station after things went haywire at WTV

Johnson Mwakazi joined Wholesome TV (WTV) in 2014 after he quit his job at Citizen TV where he used to host Power Breakfast and anchor 1pm news.

Mwakazi was quickly promoted to the post of Chief Executive Officer at Fountain Media Group Ltd, the umbrella media house for WTV, to help stir WTV to success.

WTV was hit by a major crisis in December 2016 that saw Mwakazi become jobless; Fountain Media Group shut down its operations after it failed to meet the cost of running operations.

Business Today reports that Mwakazi has landed a new job at Ebru TV; apparently he is now a senior manager at Ebru.

Mwakazi was approached to be part of the new management that will take over the running of Ebru TV once a buyer is picked; the station is reviewing bids by five buyers who have shown interest in buying it.

Ebru TV faced similar situation as WTV a while back which saw great talents like Joy Muthengi, Michelle Morgan, Kamene Goro and Akisa Wandera flee due to poor pay.

Risper Faith and Mishi Dorah pound each other all because of a man

A few weeks ago Mishi Dorah revealed that Risper Faith’s fiance had been financing her…okay, what she meant is that he had given her a free human hair wig. This clearly angered Risper Faith who was not aware of what her fiance had been doing behind her back.

Since then Risper Faith and Mishi cannot see eye to eye and in the recent episode aired on Nairobi Diaries, we all got to witness the two ladies get physical…something that was bound to happen with time.

I am not one to side with any of the ladies, but as much as they both have strength to pound each other down…it is clear to see that Risper is not a woman to mess with. Yes she is quick to anger and have you seen her size though?

The Spanish government has decided to correct population decline by creating a new ministry to oversee population growth.

Spaniards will be getting used to the government telling them to have more sex and to conceive; Edelmira Barreira has been appointed the new minister for sex.

The move was caused by the realization that birth rate in Spain was drastically falling as more women choose to have fewer children while some opted to have none at all.

In 2015, Spain’s death rate surpassed the birth rate, a situation that had previously only happened during wartime; experts say long working hours and a culture of eating late at night and going to bed after midnight was partly to blame for the nation’s sex famine.

People in Spain are not siring enough kids to replace themselves, the population is skewing towards the older end of the spectrum, with not enough young and productive people to keep economies thriving and to look after the rest of the aging population.

Spain’s Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy last month appointed Edelmira Barreira as the country’s sex Minister to get Spaniards to produce more babies.

Homeboyz Radio’s Talia Oyando had a baby towards the end of 2012, her son has now grown into a fine-looking small man who can sing Tarrus Riley’s hit song.

Talia’s undying love for reggae music saw her land a show on Citizen TV dubbed ‘Reggae Roots’ which airs on Saturdays from 4 to 5 pm.

The Unbelievable story of Don who returned a cool 200k after someone dropped it on the street

A street urchin by the name Don is trending right now and this is after she did the unthinkable!

As narrated by a person who insisted on being anonymous, Don was his hero when he returned a bundle of cash worth 200,000 he had dropped on the street.

And he didn’t ask anything in return; can you imagine that?

Hello Mildred, this is not really a buyer beware issue but just want you to post it just to show guys there are still good people around.

I’d like to remain anonymous incase people think walk around with huge stacks of cash.

Today in the afternoon, our business needed to take the day cash to the bank, it was around 4pm.

Like always, I picked up a bag, placed around 700k in, unfortunately today, there were lots of 500/200 notes so the stash took up more space than normal.

Each bundled into 100k as always, pressed in the bag and headed on to the bank.

On the way however, the zipper on the bag caved in and spat out 2 bundles of notes ~ 200k.

Didn’t notice it, proceeded crossing the road from Kimathi Street headed to Kenyatta avenue.

Walked a little while and there was this dirty young man running after me, signalling me to stop.

Well, I figured it was just one of the street families soliciting for funds, I ignored and continued my merry way.

He didn’t stop however, he kept pursing me, at the entrance to the bank, I decided it was safer since there were 2 guards there.

I stopped to listen to what he had to say, to all our amazement and utter shock, he pulled out the 2 stacks, “uliangusha pesa uko nyuma”

Checked the bag, zipper was open 2 pieces were missing.

I didn’t have any words for this young man, I was completely shocked.

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.

The guy said the whole reason he didn’t take the cash, “inaeza Kuwa ni pesa ya school fees Ama mtu ako mgonjwa mahali sasa siwezi chukua”.

While still there he insisted, “weka pesa kwa bank Kwanza ndio tuongee, unaweza poteza tena”

The late Governor Nderitu Gachagua was laid to rest yesterday March 6^th at his Hiriga home, Nyeri County.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Cord leader Raila Odinga were some of the high profile persons who attended the burial.

Governors drawn from various counties across the country also showed up in their numbers for the burial of their fallen colleague.

While some governors drove to Nyeri in convoys of posh SUVs, others decided to fly there. There were at least 18 choppers parked at Hiriga Primary School grounds.

Most of the choppers ferried governors, President Uhuru also arrived at Nderitu’s Hiriga home in a Kenya Air Force chopper.

Controversial politician Jackson Kibor is at it again, the former KANU Chairman has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Kibor caused a stir in August last year when he was caught on camera hacking away a clamp on his Toyota V8 over unpaid parking fee of Kes 100. Eldoret County Council askaris were left speechless by the daring acts of the untouchable politicians.

The veteran KANU wheeler-dealer once again caused a stir in early January this year when he divorced his 67-year old wife to marry a young woman.

Even before the dust settles on his controversies, Kibor was yet again caught in an ugly scene in a viral video circulating online.

The former KANU chairman is seen opening fire at his son Ezekiel Kibor at a disputed 200-acre parcel of land that is part of his expansive 2,000-acre Kabenes Farm.

Kibor shot at his son twice before his pistol jammed, the two shots barely missed Ezekiel who was just a few meters from him.

Why can’t Kenyans pick a side?

Just earlier on today, they were in support of Ezekiel Mutua when he made the ultimate decision to ban Churchill from airing on NTV.

He was allegedly vexed by the adult jokes which he termed as a stupid and horrible prank, an unfortunate idiotic and foul drill, totally in bad taste, lacking in imagination and possibly the evidence of the beginning of the end of an era.

This statement was supported by many Kenyans who thought Kenyans had taken it too far.

Ezekiel took this support to maintain his position and not even a call from Churchill himself was going to make him change his decision.

It seems however Kenyans were not very genuine in supporting Ezekiel. Whilst they were up in arms on his facebook page, they were also supporting Zeddy on hers applauding her for her creativity and boldness.

You rock were some of the encouraging words that came her way as Kenyans urged her to produce more of such episodes.

Now that leaves me in a cliffhanger…what exactly do Kenyans want.

The former Nyeri governor Nderitu Gachagua was finally laid to rest today, Monday 6^th March at his at his Hiriga home in Mathira in a ceremony graced with various dignitaries.

Apart from the President and his deputy, other people who attended the burial include former president Mwai Kibaki, former Army boss Karanja and a multitude of governors who actually carried the casket.

The cortege left Lee Funeral Home on Nairobi where the body was being preserved after being flown in from London and was in Nyeri by 1PM.

One of the most notable things at the funeral was the presence of his two wives who both spoke. They both had kind loving things to say about their late husband much to the awe of the people and actually seemed at ease with each other.

As we have to come to establish however, they were fulfilling a wish of the late Nderitu Gachagua who wanted both of his wives to speak at his funeral.

Now how weird is that? It’s a very rare occasion to see two wives co-exist peacefully and the husband to care and love them the same way.

Akothee only became rich six or seven years ago, before that her story wouldn’t make headline on any news outlet.

The flamboyant songstress and Konshens performed at Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas Strip on Friday 3^rd March 2017.

The rich singer sent a message to her fans as she was relaxing at her hotel room in Las Vegas.

“Don’t even envy or get jealous about me , you have no idea of the kind of shit I handle , I only allow you to see what I want you to see , for if I open for you the pages of what & how I manage life ! life ! some might think they are watching a nollywood movie, or might end up losing hope in this life , so, just be a well wisher & a go getter , leave competition’s to the Olympics, wecall have life challenges it only depends on how you carry it!” Akothee wrote.

Her message was in reference to the hardship she endured before she had a breakthrough; Akothee was married at the age of 14 when she was still a student in high school in Homa Bay County. Her parents were against her marriage so she ran away with her sweetheart to Awendo, Migori County.

The flamboyant singer got her first baby at the age of 14, and by 16 she had already delivered three kids. All this while she was staying at her in-law’s house where she also served as a househelp for 7 long years.

Akothee’s third child succumbed to illness because she didn’t have money to take her to hospital. She got her fourth baby in 2000 to replace the lost one.

Her marriage crumbled in the same year she gave birth to her fourth child and her in-laws sent her packing.

The “Benefactor” singer started selling omena to raise money for her school fees (she went back to complete secondary education) and to feed her three daughters.

Akothee got back with her husband in 2003 and went to live with him in Nairobi. But then again her hubby dumped her with her three daughters in 2006.

The songbird tried several professions after the split with her husband; she joined a band as a dancer before she became a taxi driver.

It was during her stint as a taxi driver in Mombasa that she met a diplomat who was interested in finding out what drove her into a male dominated profession.

Akothee finally fell in love with the diplomat and she moved to Zurich, Switzerland with him. She conceived a son, Ojwang, with the diplomat. She also conceived another interracial son, Oyoo.

The singer split with the diplomat after realizing he didn’t want to marry her; she returned to Kenya to start her own businesses; Akothee Property, Akothee Safaris etc.

The sad story of Margaret Njeri, the 22 year old who passed on after a rogue police officer threw a gun at her…he was looking to get a bribe!

17^th January 2017 was just a normal day for Margaret Njeri; she had turned 22 on the 15^th, the year was new and she had all manner of hopeful prospects.

The most notable one had being the fact that she meant to Law School this year as she looked forward to kick start her career. She was actually working as a secretary at a law firm- George Wakahiu advocates in Mpeketoni and so her life was pretty much set.

Up until she took a boda boda to take her home after a long day’s work and her life changed forever. They came to a police check and the rider she was riding with was waved to stop; he didn’t something which annoyed Paul Tanui- definitely he was not going to get his 50 bob bribe.

He retaliated and threw his gun at the boda boda, missing the rider but landing on Margaret Njeri’s head.

She fell off the boda boda and was left unconscious as the rider sped off. She had since then been admitted at Pandya Hospital ICU until yesterday when she finally succumbed and passed on. This is after she underwent 3 surgeries which cost 2 million.

And while all this was happening, the only thing that happened to Tanui was a transfer-according to the National Police Service Chairman Johnstone Kavuludi he was moved so as to not interfere with investigations and also to safeguard his safety; a criminal?

So far nothing has happened even after the family sought justice from the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko and their plight was run a couple of media houses including Nation.

She was a third born child of Marriam Njeri Njuguna and the late Mr. Njuguna who passed on in 2009.

May she rest in peace and may justice be served!

Ezekiel Mutua has stand his ground despite Churchill apologizing for last night’s horror; the Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) CEO maintains that Churchill Show must be punished.

For starters, Sunday March 5^th 2017 episode of Churchill Show was hijacked by obscene jokes that sparked uproar from Kenyans.

Churchill, who had maintained that the jokes were just creativity, has since eaten the humble pie. Ezekiel Mutua has revealed the comedy king called him to apologize.

The KFCB boss disclosed that he has forgiven Churchill on a personal level, he encouraged him to use last night’s blunder to rebrand and make Churchill Show the family program it’s supposed to be.

“I have received a call from Mwalimu King’ang’i this morning regarding the unfortunate episode of the Churchill Show last night. He has apologised and taken full responsibility and requested that I pull down my post. I do so in good faith and in reciprocity for the mature manner in which he has handled the matter. I do so because I believe people make mistakes and learn from them. We all know the contribution of Mwalimu King’ang’i in developing talent in Kenya. We salute him for his outstanding contribution and hope that he will use last night’s blunder to rebrand and make Churchill Show the family program it’s supposed to be. All programs airing between 5am and 10pm should be suitable for family viewing. Churchill Show is not any other program. This has been the top stand-up comedy show in the region for years. It’s a family show that builds talent and brings laughter to our sitting rooms. To allow the pathetic adult jokes that have come to characterise it lately is unfortunate.” Wrote Mutua in part.

The no nonsense KFCB boss has however refused to expunge sanctions against Churchill Show, he explained that the decision is meant to ensure that the mistake is not repeated.

“While at a personal level I accept the apology the Board will pursue this matter to ensure the mistake is not repeated and will mete the necessary sanctions on the Show. Our message to you Churchill is simple: You are talented. You are a mentor to many. Mungu amekutoa mbali. Please don’t use your talent to corrupt the moral values of our children. Give us clean content. YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE OBSCENE TO BE POPULAR!”

Wema Sepetu’s mother arrested and detained at police station for fraud

Mama Wema, Miriam Sepetu, i said to have been arrested for fraud and was held at the Oysterbay police station for about 8 hours where she was interrogated for ‘stealing’ money from one business man, Alex Msama.

Miriam Sepetu was arrested on Saturday morning and was forced to stay in police custody as the police were gathering details from the businessman who apparently says the lady conned him Tsh 14 million. As reported by reliable Tanzanian tabloids, the lady’s case was assigned Number. OB/RB/3358/2017 and filed meaning that she will soon face the judge.

Apparently, mama Wema Sepetu had sold one of her houses located at 663 Block E, in Sinza for Tsh 125 million to the businessman Alex Msama without telling him that she had used it as a collateral since she stood in as a guarantee for a friend who had taken a lump-sum amount from TIB bank.

Her main aim was to sell him the house inorder to get more cash to pay off the bank loan to avoid the house being taken. Alex Msama says he had been giving her about 14 million but before he could complete paying her off, mama Wema Sepetu went ahead and sold it to another buyer.

Now, Alex Msama wants his money refunded and mama Sepetu hasn’t denied doing it however she claims that she will only refund Tsh 8 million which is written on paper as she knows nothing about the other 6 million he is talking about.

Her lawyer who is the official advocate for the Chadema party, Tundu Lissu, got her out on bail and she is now waiting to answer her case in a few days.

This comes a few weeks after Wema Sepetu was arrested for using drugs.

Anyway, this past weekend she was photographed drinking LOUIS XIII which she says costs 1.2 million Kenyan shillings. Looking at the small bottle it is hard to believe it could cost such a hefty amount but thanks to google I found out that the most expensive Louis XIII Rare Cask costs $22,000 ( Ksh 2,259,400) and comes in a opaque black crystal bottle but since Risper’s was in a colorless bottle meaning it might have cost KSh 512,971.26 and not 1.2 million.

The revered investigative journalist quit his job at KTN on Valentine’s Day to focus on clinching Nyali parliamentary seat come August 8^th.

In the course of his campaign, Mohammed Ali revealed a lot of startling things that were not in the public domain before.

He disclosed personal information about him and what he plans to do in parliament if he will be elected Nyali MP in the forth coming general election.

Below are the 5 things Mohammed Ali disclosed:

1. Ali revealed he was raised in the biggest slum. The biggest slum in Kenya is Kibera.

2. Ali disclosed that unemployment in Kenya forced him to seek greener pastures in Saudi Arabia where he worked at a coffee shop for three years.

3. Ali said he’s working hard for the betterment of Kenya so that his struggles will not be the struggles of his two beautiful daughters.

4. Ali admitted he couldn’t bring change with his exposés because he claims journalism has been overrun by powerful cartels. He said open threats, money and a lust for fame in some quarters had replaced journalism.

5. Ali vowed to bring change in parliament; he said he would work for the cause of justice from within Parliament

“I will not whisper. If you, the voter, lets me, I will shout and work for the cause of justice from within Parliament, the house from which justice fled. I know now that true change for our country can only come from a change in how our politics is managed. If we want our country to change, we must be willing to change it ourselves. I am offering myself to be that change agent,” Ali wrote in part.

Miss Karun, formerly Camp Mulla is pregnant!

I know, when did this happen? How did this escape all of us?

Well she is, in her last trimester actually and she has a lot to narrate about her experience as a pregnant young woman.

She had a one on one with WG live’s Marushka T Mujic where she opened up a lot about the whole experience which has been nothing but eccentric for her.

“When my mother was the age I am now, her first child was a newborn infant. She was not married, she had not yet finished university, she did not have a six figure salary –

But she still had me.

In the twenty something years it took for me to reach the very same age of her early motherhood, she went on to become a woman and create a life whose spirit, power and epic adventure mystifies many of the (now) adoring people, who may have criticised her back then – For being an unconventional young woman, giving birth to another.

If she had listened to their judgements, their criticisms, their doubts, I may not be who I am today. So, I consider it a blessed and beautiful cycles of events for me to be here, posting this now – in honor of the divine feminine power that creates life and more life, not only physically, but energetically through shared inspiration…

Not to mention… In honor of O.N.E. of the most profound, resilient and genuine mothers-to-be that I have ever met” This is the powerful message she opened her conversation with before getting deeper into some of the experiences; good and bad she has gone through during this time.

To start it off she talked about her pregnancy and how it’s the most powerful thing that has ever happened to her. She can’t stop being fascinated by the human body which she thinks it totally incredible and generates incredible power whenever it’s needed to.

“Growing another life inside of you is… so strange (*giggles a lot*). And it’s so surreal. And it’s amazing. And also challenging at the same time… It’s hard! Like, the fact that the baby has completely shifted my center of gravity now and I have to get used to being in a different body!” She told Marushka.

Before delving into her music and how her creativity which she has invested a lot in had dwindled as she focuses on the pregnancy and it’s heartbreaking. “My creativity has not been in what I’ve been or what I’ve invested my entire life into – which can be heartbreaking at times – but at least, I’ve had some kind of a (creative) release. Like – I still draw, I still paint, I still have incredible ideas that seem to come out of nowhere…” She narrated.

Overall Miss Karun is immensely excited and she might be taking break from the limelight as she embarks on taking care of the baby.

Inspekta mwala held the title shortest cop in Kenya for years (even though he is not even a real policeman.)

Davis Mwabili better known as Inspekta Mwala plays the role of the head police inspector at Kona Mbaya police station.

Inspekta Mwala has long been known as the shortest cop in Kenya ever since he left KBC’s Vitimbi to start his eponymous program on Citizen TV.

Mwala has however lost his title to a real cop who is of same height with him; the short policewoman has caused a stir online.

Kenya police has long been known to be an institution that only recruits tall people, no wonder a photo of a short policewoman has wowed folks on social media.

Have the police loosen their tough stand to start recruiting people of all heights??

Mukorino lady shame slammed for sleeping around with married men

Social media has not only become a platform where people meet but a place where many are shamed and exposed. This past weekend a certain Mukorinoh lady was exposed for sleeping around with peoples husbands for her own benefit.

The lady who comes from a strict religious group, the Akorinoh, found herself in hot soup after her photos were posted on social media for the wrong reasons. According to the details released, this certain woman has been ruining other women’s marriages as she moves from one man to another.

In the angry post shared on Facebook, the accused is called all sorts of names by the lady who posted her complaint. Kazi yako ni kulala na wanaume za watu upate chakule! she wrote. She went on to blast the lady asking her to lose her attire since it symbolizes a righteous and Godly lady.

The Akorinoh ladies are not allowed to expose their legs or any part of their bodies are they are required to wear long gowns and turbans to cover their heads.

Nakuru came to life over the weekend as Chrome Vodka Street Bash made its way down there.

And trust me things really got lit, I think more than the Nairobi edition.

Nakuru people how to party and they party hard…..getting into the venue way before 10 PM and getting things fired up.

The ladies were looking absolutely stunning in their cute little dresses while the dudes came ready to spend; a perfect remedy for a good party.

Also read: Sauti Sol set to shut down Nakuru with the biggest Chrome Mega bash this weekend!

The performances were great starting with the DJ for the night Creepa who kept the crowd entertained and going all the way to Sauti Sol who were basically the highlight of the night.

I can’t also fail to mention Juacali who drove the crowd into frenzy and Sanaipei’s Tande Mfalme wa Mapenzi performance which was just off the chains.
