This was the message prophet Owuor shared earlier on today:
“What I see right now I see a famine. I see a lot of people walking. I see a lot of people walking in columns like this carrying some little containers, and so forth. So there is a famine that is coming here. And again, let me say this: I see people walking, in this land walking, walking in a large column. It looks like in the dry areas of this country. And so there is a big famine. This famine may be very big if they do not bring repentance before the Lord,” said Prophet Owuor.
“That means this nation needs prayer. I need to pray for this land. I need to pray for this country that it may rain and there be no famine. But I see a lot of famine and I see these things happen. And when you read the Bible, the Bible says very clearly that I gave you famine. I placed unto you famine. I took away bread from you. I made your teeth white. (White teeth means famine, white and long.) I made your teeth white, and yet you have not yet returned to me.
“So the Lord is asking that this country to return to Him in repentance and holiness, and then you will be able to mitigate and remedy on this famine that is coming. And again, the Lord has shown me people walking in the dry areas walking in long columns with – I see a big sauce pans or something or plate – and the Lord has shown me that. And so He is saying that there is a famine that is coming here; however, the Lord is saying that I gave you famine. I hungered thee. I made your teeth long and white, and yet you have not yet returned to me.
“So the Lord is asking for repentance in this land of Kenya. Then there must be a National Repentance where all the leadership and all the people gather as one person and go before the Lord.
“This nation that has been so beloved of the Lord that has seen the goodness of the Lord. She needs to learn to go back to the same God that healed her cripples, the blind, and deaf, and mute, and paralytics, and spinal cord injuries, HIV/AIDS, and everything. She needs to go back to that God. That that God may now, also now, cover her on this nakedness of famine.
“I see a famine that is coming to this land. I hear the famine, but I see people walking–kind of a long column thin like this–with a plate and a sauce pan in their hand. So the Lord is asking this country to repent and return to holiness and prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah. This country cannot ignore the Lord!
“And only the Lord will bring rain. Rain will not come from the United Nations Security Council. Rain will not come from the World Bank. It will not come from IMF. It will not come from anywhere. Rain will not come from a government policy paper. Rain comes from the Lord!
“May those who have ears prepare for repentance. I know the big ministry that is here, the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness of more than 20 million people, have already begun a national repentance this Sunday, yesterday. And that repentance continues on and on nonstop until the Lord comes down again to love this country, and stop this famine.”

Radio Jambo’s Cyrus Afune popularly known as Liondeh we have learnt has been admitted in hospital.
The presenter who co-hosts alongside Mbusii on a show dubbed Mbusii na Lion Teketeke which airs every weekday from 3PM to 7 PM was apparently admitted in Mater hospital on Saturday after he developed abdominal complications.
Speaking to his Co –host and best friend Mbusi, he’s recuperating well but he will not be out of hospital soon, probably in a few days.

Earlier on today, reports started circulating online that Bishop Margaret Wanjiru had decamped from Jubilee and gone back to ODM.
According to Zumari.co.ke which first broke the story, the Bishop had made that drastic decision after Peter Kenneth’s entry into the gubernatorial race which curtailed her chances of clinching the seat. She was initially battling for a spot alongside Johnstone Sakaja, Mike Sonko and Dennis Waweru.
According to the Zumari, she had made that decision alongside her son who is the Member of Parliament for Mathare an ODM stronghold.
And since they had not been chased out of ODM, they deemed it fit to go back there as they had better chances of clinching their respective seats.
A popular Facebook blogger Asher Wuod Jane made this announcement on his Facebook and that’s where Wanjiru hit his comment box denying any association with ODM. According to her, this was just mere propaganda destined to spoil her name.

A female student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) has caused ripples online after her conversation on Whatsapp with Mrs. Nyariki was leaked online.

Mombasa governor moved out of his house in Nyali last week following friction with the national government. Apparently Joho received intelligence that made him make the move.
Sometimes last week, Flying Squad officers raided and ransacked the house of a close ally of Mombasa governor.
Coast Regional Coordinator, Nelson Marwa , said the government was planning to mop up illegal guns at the Coast ahead of the August general election; he further revealed the operation was mainly targeting licensed owners, especially VIPs, who were abusing the privilege.
The squabble between Mombasa governor and president Uhuru is thought to be the reason why the government is now targeting certain people in Mombasa.
Speaking outside Mombasa county headquarters during the official launch of voter registration in his county, Hassan Joho said he rejected new police officers sent to guard his home after receiving intelligence reports that there was a scheme to eliminate him.
The Mombasa governor claimed he received reliable information that the government was planning to use the new security officers to plant drugs and firearms in his residence in Nyali.
“I have rejected the State bodyguards because I had reliable information Jubilee was planning to plant illegal guns in my residence and spy on me using such officers. I would rather protect myself than allow these people to stay around me,” Joho spoke.

Without confirming the authenticity of the same, contributors on Social Media and some bloggers have picked up the clip and purported its origin was Kameme FM.

Deliah Ipupa has confirmed that Ferre Gola paid her management Sh 1.5m for her to model in his soon to be released song.
This comes a few months after the super model landed a deal with Nivea that has seen her fame grow at a fast rate. Deliah Ipupa is now not only a continental but an international model who fit perfectly to what Ferre Gola was looking for.
The Lingala musician is said to have been forced to shoot his yet-to-be released video in Kenya despite that not being the plan.

Uganda’s curvaceous socialite Desire Luzinda was forced to reveal the grade her daughter Mitchelle Kaddu scored in Ugandan national examination after media reports claimed that she failed.
For starters, Desire Luzinda is a controversial figure in Uganda who gained continental recognition after her steamy sex tape leaked.
A furious Luzinda cursed the journalist who claimed her daughter failed as she revealed Mitchelle passed with a 1st grade.
“I know being a celebrity comes with so many negative and positive challenges but I pity journalists whose intention is to always belittle young kids,attaching your whatsoever beef to the parents. Just because I didn’t rush to social media to flaunt it doesn’t mean she failed. Speaking on Kameme FM this morning alongside TNA chairman Johnstone Sakaja, he had no kind words for Nairobi Gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth. According to Sonko, he’s a hypocrite and a selfish man who’s intentions is to serve his own interests and that of his white financiers.
“Apeleke Ujinga na huko” Sonko proclaimed in the Kikuyu Station which has come under fire from Kenyans for preaching ethnicity and tribalism.

Peter Kenneth’s entry into the race has sent chills and destabilization within the Jubilee team with many seeing him as the best candidate to battle against Kidero in Nairobi. He promises to bring managerial skills and the much needed expertise which will tackle Nairobi’s problems.
Initially Sonko kept his cool on the matter but when prodded by the presenter, Gatonye wa Mbugua, that’s when he confessed how Peter Kenneth and his team called him for a meeting and offered him to pay him just to shelf off his gubernatorial ambitions and support him instead.
And the guy was offering a cool 1 billion which was to be paid in installments of first 300 million thrice and then 100 million twice.
Sonko alleges he turned down the offer as his love for Nairobians could not be equated to any figure.
Kitili came out with guns blazing and exposed Rebecca whom he says she deserved what she got; the KTN anchor revealed the lady offered him subpar services which prompted him not to pay her the full amount.
“Look, there is something called value for money… if I am paying for a service and you provide a service that is below par I will pay for exactly that… it is how any smart person will do… should I accept to be conned just because I am on TV? Come on… I was born and raised in Nairobi… huwezi nigonga whether I am paying for nyanya at Wakulima market or paying for a taxi… and if you think that you can bully me with social media/internet just because I am perceived be a “public figure” using a story which is 90% UNTRUE, think again,” Kitili wrote.
Finally something good has happened to KTN’s Joy Doreen Biira after a series of misfortunes. The KTN journalist has taken over Edith Kimani’s job at Deutsche Welle (DW).
Sometimes in November last year, Joy Doreen Birra was arrested by Uganda police for what they termed as abetting terrorism.
A month later, his Mercedes Benz was stolen at the parking lot at Standard Group headquarters on Mombasa road.
The car was later recovered and surprisingly Biira’s colleague at KTN, Aaron Ochieng, had a hand in the theft of the German machine.
After all those setbacks, something good has finally happened to Biira; the KTN anchor has replaced Edith Kimani has the host of ‘eco@africa’ on DW TV. Kimani has been moved to Berlin as a fulltime anchor leaving a gap that was filled by Biira.

A Tanzanian model by the name of, Queen Nazil, had a tough weekend after she was attacked by a gang of men and robbed off her belongings shortly after she was dropped off at her sister’s hostel on Friday night. Queen Nazil is said to have passed by her sister’s place after a night out with her girls.
The lady who ia known for her beauty had previously participated in the Miss Tanzania 2016 crown, however lost giving her time to resume with her studies as she is a third year Law student at the Tumaini University.
Word on the street is that she was attacked shortly after her ride left but sister her sister took a while to open the gate the thugs got enough time to carry out their plans.
Speaking to Tanzanian’s Risasi newspaper, a witness revealed to say,
“She had just arrived home after a night out with friends; and when she was waiting for her sister to open the gate, two men on a motorbike ambushed her, demanding she gives them her handbag. Since the handbag had her phone, iPhone 6 model, TSh200, 000 (KSh9, 400) and other valuables, Queen tried to resist, and that is when one member of the gang cut her in the head with a panga. She collapsed, and was left bleeding profusely.”
The model was however rushed off to the hospital by good Samaritans before she bled to death. Judging from the photos making rounds on social media Miss Nazil suffered a serious head injury that was caused by the panga used by the two-man gang
Nazil is glad to be alive and according to reports, the lady is responding well to medication and will soon be discharged.
Major banks have stopped offering credit services to Nation Media Group’s employees.
Sometimes in December 2016, the head of corporate and regulatory affairs at Nation Media Group issued a memo dated December 20th 2016 which said that the Kimathi Street-based media house would be reducing its workforce.
The memo sparked chain reaction starting with employees getting sick with apprehension and banks blacklisting NMG employees.
Business Today reports that Standard Chartered bank, Barclays banks and Nation Sacco have temporarily blacklisted NMG as a loan guarantor and have stopped giving loans to Nation employees until the ongoing restructuring is completed.
Apparently the financial institutions decided to blacklist NMG employees for fear of giving loans to people who will be jobless and without means to repay the loans.
Ghafla! contacted NMG employee who revealed he hasn’t tried to access loan services but mentioned a colleague he knew was grumbling about being denied a loan he had applied.
NMG hasn’t really fired anyone just yet, a few days ago the media fraternity was sent set into panic mode after reports started circulating online that veteran journalist Eric Obino had been fired.
It been has while since we saw or heard of Ian Mugoya, one of the coolest kid I grew up watching on TV. His show, Str8Up, on KTN was kept many ladies on their toes until the day he decided to call it quits.
He disappeared from the public eye and was rarely spotted around his cool friends, Nick Mutuma, Martin and the rest.
What we did not know is that the young man had decided to build himself in a different way. Ian Mugoya took time off the media and chose a path that would help him achieve the best.
Well, I found out about this when I took sometime to go through his social media pages where he I came across a post that revealed the main reason he has been keeping a low profile. He wrote to say,

He shared the post a day before we ushered in the new year. He ernt on to thank God and his family for the support as it wouldn’t have been possible without their love and support.

The police are now equipped with armored personnel carriers. President Uhuru unveiled the third batch of police vehicles at Uhuru Park today January 16th.
The government is keen to bolster security ahead of 2017 polls and as such the police have been equipped with the necessary arsenal to deal with any eventuality.
President Uhuru has today unveiled 525 vehicles as part of the government’s police modernization programme.
Of the 525 vehicles, 25 were armored personnel carriers which had deadly machine guns mounted on them.
While many were wondering why the police are being armed with military grade vehicles, Uhuru explained that the move was aimed at improving police mobility in their fight against terrorism.
On a normal day I get excited to meet our local celebrities and have a one on one that helps me get to know them better. However, meeting Shaqtheyoungin was different, I was a bit confused and dazzled on how such a young man was hustling harder than most grown men and how he was able to drive women of all ages crazy.

After a long break from social media, Ben Kitili has resurfaced online but not in one of the most forbidding ways. He has been accused of being a con and a thief by an unknown woman on Kilimani Mums and Dads uncensored.
According to the woman who calls herself Merry Merry on Facebook, the TV presenter conned her best friend, who is struggling to make ends meets roughly 25 K and this was 3 years ago.
You really don’t expect me to continue when you’re like that? Take a seat and let me narrate this to you verbatim. Now according to Merry Merry, her best friend Rebecca is a land scape expert whose work is to come to your house and decorate your compound. How she works is that she caters for everything out of her own pocket then she invoices you later something she has done for notable people in society like Maria of Mother in Law.
On this particular day, her client was none other but TV personality Ben Kitili who was supposedly living at Delta Estate Mlolongo. She went and carried out her duties and when it came to demand for payment, Ben was apparently not available. He had travelled to Tanzania to cover elections and he would make the payments upon return.
He never did and he stopped answering all of her Rebecca’s phone calls before asking security in the estate to bar her from entry. At that time she became helpless so she just gave up. Now Merry Merry has decided to come to her rescue and she chose Kilimani Mums and Dads as her best avenue to do so.

This is Ben kitili, a ktn news anchor am sure y’all know him. A kamba man from kitui married to one Amina and they gat one kid I assume the baby is the one in the picture. They live in some estate in mulolongo called delta estate, atleast three years ago that’s where they used to live b4 he conned my friend Rebecca some cash, or wud say he exploited and took Rebecca’s job for granted, just because he felt she is a nobody he choose not to pay her her dues.. Rebecca is a very good friend to our family, she does landscaping atleast that’s what she calls it, if you hire her she will cater for all the materials required from her own pocket and then you pay her once the work is done plus labour.

Ben kitili hired rebecca 3 years ago, according to her at that time there was something going on in tanzania, some sort of elections. Ben left for the coverage of that event for some days, when she was done she called him and let him know that she was done that he should do the necessary in terms of her payments, Ben stated that he was a bit busy with the coverage that she Shud give him a few days till he comes back home. Rebecca understood. She waited. Ben was done with the event, he came back home, rebecca went to ask for her money, she found Amina, the wife, the wife claimed that it’s Ben to take care of her bills. Rebecca kept going for her money for days in vain. Now both Ben and the wife stopped picking her phone calls, she was blocked on wassup and her messeges went unreplied. All security men on tht apartments were told to tell her whenever she comes tht a nobody is in the house, rebecca did nothing she just had to give up.. i never knew about all this untill yetaday while watching Ktn news is when she pointed out that that man conned her.
I felt so bitter and asked myself what is 20k for someone like Ben not pay her off 3 years down the line now, yet he gets paid each and every month generously by std group. Rebecca gave me Ben kitilis number that night I called him and he claimed he was in the studios that he would call me back later, just after I had mentioned to him about Rebecca’s case. He never called, since jana we have been calling the same number is ain’t going through I think he has blocked my number just the way he did with Rebecca’s. When i called him yestaday my intention was to hear his side of story but he has dodged me.. because I cud just not believe how someone of his caliber cud just refuse to pay a poor landscaping lady after doing him such a beautiful job.. his mobile number atleast the one we know is 07226900**.
Anyone who knows Ben kitili personally tell him to contact rebecca and pay her her money that’s her hustle and that’s how she pays for her two kids school fees. I can’t call him names coz I don’t know his side of story but since he is nor picking uo any of our calls we assume he is the ine who has issues, all i know is that he shud pay roughly 20-25k. He has her number . Rebecca the gardener. From we have gathered none of his workers get paid in peace, be it house gals, electricians, plumbers.

The controversial blogger now claims Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and President Uhuru Kenyatta are taking Kenyans for a ride with their squabble.
Alai says Joho hangs out with President Uhuru’s eldest son, Jomo Kenyatta, in Mombasa nightclub every month.
“Joho lies to you that he is against Uhuru etc but he hangs out with Uhuru’s son, Jomo, smking Shisha with him in Mombasa nightclub every month,” Alai wrote on Facebook on January 12th.
The blogger further alleges that the Mombasa governor is cooperating with the government to run down family business.
“The most dishonest person you can depend on as a politician is Joho. Don’t even trust him. Even his brother, Abu, who unofficially runs Mombasa county is not happy because “Joho anashindana na serikali na kuua biashara ya familia.”
“Nobody should even think of trusting Joho. Not even a team player. He is also the one who sacked the largest number of “watu wa bara” when he became Mombasa governor.”
“By being so pro Raila, he hopes that his daliance with Raila will make “watu wa bara” (who are mostly CORD supporters) support his re-election. Joho will get a surprise of his life. He is likely not to be re-elected. Take this to Jamii Bora bank and take a loan,” Wrote Alai.

Rapper Xtatic and Giselle have dropped a dope cover of Aaliyah’s hit song Are you that somebody that will wow you especially if Aaliyah was your favorite artiste from back then.
The song was published a few days to celebrate Aaliyah’s birthday, January 13th. From the vocals to the instruments used in this cover song, it is easy to see that the two artists completely took charge by creating a new version of the popular 90’s song.
According to Xtatic, she feels humbled to have dropped a few bars in this amazing song that featured the foreign Giselle who has a voice of a goddess.
