It has been a tough week for Ben kitili who was recently exposed by a certain gardener for failing to pay up Ksh.25,000 for services rendered.
Barely three days after the scandal, one of Ben Kitili’s friends, Christopher Waithaka ,has come forth to reveal that the KTN news anchor also dodged to pay him Ksh. 28,000. Apparently the money was to fix Mr Christopher’s damaged bumper which was hit by the KTN news anchor car.

Naivasha is notorious for slaughtering donkeys whose meat is illegally sold to butcheries in as far as Nairobi and Nakuru.
But it seems butchers are now going after donkeys’ cousins in white and black strips; photos of a man cutting a dead zebra into pieces and stashing the meat in a paper bag have gone viral on Facebook.
The man seemingly looked unconcerned as he went by his business while curiosity onlookers plying Nairobi-Nakuru highway watched in shock.

Queen of Katwe, Hollywood film which featured Lupita Nyong’o, has been hit by a major controversy after it emerged that the film company that produced it wrongly paid Jose Chameleone for the soundtrack used in the movie.
Tanzanian producer and CEO of Bongo Records, P Funk Majani, has sued Walt Disney Pictures for breach of intellectual property. Funk claims Disney used his soundtrack without his knowledge for their 2015 movie, Queen of Katwe.

Walt Disney paid Jose Chameleone to use beats of his song ‘Bomboclat’ in Queen of Katwe; but apparently Chameleone stole the beats from P Funk who was the original composer. The Tanzanian producer says the beats were originally used in the hit track ‘Nikusaidiaje’ which was sang by Professor Jay and Ferooz.
In an audio uploaded on YouTube by Bongo5, P Funk revealed Jose Chameleone had been playing cat and mouse game with him ever since he first approached him over theft of his beats several years ago.
Funk says Chameleone had agreed to pay him 2000 dollars when he first confronted him for using his beats without consent, but the Ugandan singer never kept his word.
He approached the ‘Valu Valu’ singer again when he found out that Disney had paid him for using the soundtrack in Queen of Katwe. But then again Chameleone played him for a fool forcing him to sue Disney instead.
The Tanzanian producer disclosed that he had spent a lot of money paying lawyers in the US to sue Walt Disney who have since agreed to settle the matter out of court.

Nairobi Women Rep Rachel Shebesh and Nominated Senator Beatrice Elachi were shocked when they were told they had to cover themselves before they could be allowed to attend church service in Roysambu.
Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth announced his decision to contest for Nairobi gubernatorial seat at a service at Jesus Winners Ministry Church in Roysambu on Sunday January 15th 2017.

Before you even embark on reading this, can Caucasian exhibit racism towards a fellow Caucasian? That’s the dilemma I have been struggling with in the last half hour.
Anyway, we’re all very familiar with Richard Leakey the Conservationist who has gone against all odds to protect wildlife in this country even losing his legs in the process. In turn his great work has paid off with organizations like Wildlife Direct which he started making major strides in reducing poaching.
The man is currently making rounds not twitter, not because he won some other global award but because of the racism (I personally see it as mistreatment and bullying) he underwent at a popular Italian restaurant Lacascina in Karen.

Apparently he and his wife Meave made way to the restaurant and ordered pizza which they intended on sharing. In the process, they also asked for tap water as they were not very keen at having bottled water which is sold at an arm and a leg.
The waiter refused to serve them urging that they only serve tap water. Richard Leakey seeing the resistance requested on speaking to management and that’s when the proprietor an Italian came to their table. He also clarified that indeed they don’t serve tap water as they don’t consider it safe.
Richard Leakey stood his ground and insisted that being served water was their constitutional right and that’s when the proprietor walked away coming back a few minutes with two plastic cups. He asked Richard and wife to go and fetch water from the toilet if it’s tap water they needed that badly.
Again Richard remonstrated and that’s when the owner took away their unfinished lunch and called security to kick them out. What a douche!

GeoPoll has released TV ratings for the 4th Quarter 2016; only NTV has recorded an increase in its audience share.
GeoPoll examined the top stations in Kenya by average share, finding that Citizen, KTN, and NTV come in first, second, and third respectively.
NTV has recorded an increase in its audience share while Citizen TV, KTN and KTN News witnessed a decrease in their audience share.
Even though Citizen TV still has most viewers in Kenya, its audience share in 4th quarter 2016 was 31.9% compared to 33.5% in the 3rd quarter 2016.
NTV which recorded 6.1% in audience share for the 3rd quarter 2016 saw a 2.2% increase in audience share to move up to the third position in the ranking.

Konica Minolta and the Kenyan Ministry of Education launched a “Space” themed story writing and drawing contest for school children from 205 schools in Nairobi County. Anne Lokidor, Nairobi City County Education Executive, said “We are excited to have been part of the creative “Space” competition. Enabling ideas with potential
A judging panel compiled a shortlist from the entries of 10,000 pupils from the sixth grade and then choose the winners. Some of the shortlisted entries are published in the book (“The little book of anything Space”) and will be distributed to the school 2
libraries. The three finalists in each category (poetry, story writing and drawing) will attend the award ceremony at Discovery House in Nairobi, where the winners will be announced. Besides giving all shortlisted entries a book, the three top entries of each category will also be rewarded with a great prize. In addition, all 10,000 participants will receive a bookmark. Sauti Sol’s Bien Aime Baraza is a mama’s boy. The singer recently talked about his family and it turns out his dad hasn’t approved of him being a musician.
Most people still don’t know who Bien’s biological mother his; early last year former Deputy Chief Justice, Nancy Baraza, revealed Bien was his step son in an interview with Larry Madowo on NTV.
Bien shared photos of his dad and mom; he was playing for them Sauti Sol’s next single. The singer revealed his dad was still wondering why he hadn’t gotten a real job.

Yesterday the High Court made a shocking decision that will definitely erode all the progress Uhuru and the Jubilee government has made at the Kenyan Coast.
The ruling which was made by High Court judge Joseph Onguto suggested that all the title deeds recently issued at the Coast by the president were null and void as they were issued unprocedurally as it didn’t involve the National Land Commission.
Now before Uhuru and team could restructure, they have been hit with yet another setback that will surely throw them in disarray. It is the revelation that the government had spent 600 million on a social media tool to monitor the coming elections.

Kenyans are heavily criticizing this decision citing a perfect example of misplaced priorities as there are other pending issues the country is facing that need more urgency. Case example, the impending famine which is spreading across the country like wild fire and the ongoing doctor’s strike.

Speculations about the TV station that will host Jeff Koinange Live have been put to an end after Miguna Miguna cleared the air.
Jeff Koinange announced the end of his eponymous show on KTN on 24th November 2016 following the ugly incident that saw Miguna Miguna tear into Esther Passaris.
The legendary talk show host apologized to viewers over the Passaris/Miguna incident as he announced JKL had come to an end on KTN; he also said his show will be back on a different station.
There have been speculations that JKL had found a new home at NTV but this assumption turned out not to be the case.
Miguna Miguna has revealed JKL will be back on Citizen TV; the wannabe governor disclosed this on Facebook while responding to a critic who had said that he (Miguna) wouldn’t have a platform to express himself because JKL was no more.

Long serving Gor Mahia captain Jerim Onyango has hung his boots to go and pursue politics.
He joins the likes of other celebrities like Frasha and Cannibal who in the recent past have announced intentions to pursue politics. Frasha has actually started off his journey having announced his intention to vie for the MCA seat in Athi River, Machakos County.
Jerim Onyango is also looking to clinch the same seat but in Ugunja, Siaya county which happens to be his home area.

Savara Mudigi is currently admitted in Nairobi women’s hospital and this is after he was suffered a minor fracture.
According to eDaily which first reported the story, Savara Mudigi suffered the injury when doing team building activities in Karen.
“We were playing outdoor games such as rock climbing and paintball and during that time, I seem to have landed on my leg. I thought it was a sprain and as we left Karen, the leg was swollen. At that time we were on Ngong road and decided to get visit the nearest hospital for an X-ray. The results revealed that it was a fracture. The hospital staff members have treated me very well. And as I prepare for theatre, I ask my fans to include me in their prayers,” Savara told eDaily.
We tried reaching out to him for more information but his phone was off. We managed to get a hold off of Sauti Sol’s publicist Anyiko who revealed that it was indeed a minor injury which should taken care off as quick.

The feminist grabbed the statue of Donald Trump by the crotch at a museum in Madrid, Spain in response to the viral audio in which the US president-elect was heard bragged about grabbing women by the p***y.
