Meet Kenrazy’s Second Wife; It Will be a Shock For You to Find Out Who She is (Photos)

Talk of being a family man then rapper Kenrazy has ultimately decided to settle down and take on his manly duties as the head of the house.

I don’t understand why Kenrazy tried so hard to hide his family from limelight but I guess it is for a good reason which he knows better. A family is the most prestigious thing men will boast about and Kenrazy is no different as he was caught on camera enjoying fun time with his family.

kenzy2

See how conspicuous Kenrazy’s wife is, I mean she has her hair tinted with the colors of the country’s flag; how patriotic she is to Kenya.

kenzy1

Kenrazy and his wife were seen somewhere called C-TOQI which is located in Kenrazy’s new video. Sorry guys for taking you for a ride but the whole thing was just part of the cast in new Kenrazy’s video song dubbed C-TOQI. The video was produced by Grandpa Records which has signed the renowned rapper. Here is the video check it out:

CABU GAH DIARIES: Just Like Prezzo,Here Are 10 Kenyan Celebrities Who Can Definitely Reach the BBA Finals. Or Even Win The Cash Prize!!

Sabina has been axed. Huddah was thrown out after a week. Teddy Muthusi was kicked out after 16 Minutes. And the others…ummm,Who are they again?? Well, they were knocked out even before they could use the Big Brother House urinals.

Big Brother is tricky business. Slimy, sneaky, tricky business. To win,it appears that You must be very astute…And smart..and calculating…and strategic…and captivating…and intriguing and alluring and infatuating.

Since its inception,it appears that Kenyans are never really made for Big Brother. Either we are a tad too boring, too lethargic…Or we just never really pick the right people to represent us as the Housemates. Or maybe,We actually do present very interesting characters but Africa never really sways towards them.

But Wait…Kenya  produced Prezzo,Right?? Right. Great. And there is never a dull moment in Prezzo’s life. He is the King Of Bling, duh??? Any King is bound to draw attention, capture crowds and command an audience. And Sir Prezzo does a seamless job when it comes to that.

Prezzo is the epitome of FASCINATING. You can watch Prezzo take a dump and still find something interesting about it. Prezzo is The Ultimate Entertainer. And with a life riddled with as many Women and testosterone as Prezzo’s is,Well,Welcome to Hollywood.

Tha Entertainer Per Excellence just walked into tha Building. And,That’s How Kenya found herself in the BBA Finals. Because of King Jackson Makini.

So which other Kenyan Celebrities have the kind of allure, charm, glamor and enchantment that Prezzo possesses?? Well,Lets take a look.

1.Shaffie Weru.

Shaffie is the Prezzo of Radio. And of the Media. No other Male Radio personality is as scandalous and attention-pulling and captivating as King Shaffie. Famous for his wild, hedonistic parties, feral womanizing, carefree lifestyle, penchant for the high life and brash attitude Shaffie would be just the ticket we needed to catapult us to BBA stardom. Hey,BBA honchos, give Shaffie a chance!

2. Ian Mugoya.

He’s smooth. Smooth on TV…Smooth with the ladies…smooth with the fashion and smooth at the looks game. Ian would surely ensnare the ladies…with his bedeviling looks and enchanting female-captivating skills. Africa would vote for Ian. And if not Africa, atleast the African Ladies. And that’s enough.

3. Kalekye Mumo.

She can be rambunctious…And loud and hilarious and dramatic. Doesn’t Africa LOOOOVE such characters?? Africa does. Africa would also save Kalekye Mumo for her body…And we all know Kalekye HAS A BODY. A well-documented body. A thick, enticing body. The exact type that Africa Loves….Thick,African and Phat. Kalekye would surely win the male vote. Oh,plus she can sing! Yeaaaaaaaay! Added advantage.

4. Mike Sonko.

I don’t need to say why. I don’t need. You all know why. Even the cockroaches in Bifwoli Wakoli’s bed know why. Mike Sonko would win the $3000,000 cash prize and distribute it all to the Big Brother organizers. Biggie would get 40 bob Only tho. Haha.

5. STL

Bad Girl Number One. Girl who isn’t afraid of her roots…Girl who isn’t afraid of her vernacular. Girl who loves rockin’ African prints…Girl who can actually rap. And drop some real sick bars. Girl who cut her hair short. And Girl who loves her whiskey. Reaaaaallly Loooooves her Whiskey. You can never go wrong with STL. Uh-Uh,No. Bad Girl will bring tha dollar$$ home. And make it rain on Kimathi Street.

6.Angeline Wanjeri.

Nigeria loves loudmouthed Girls. Actually,Nigeria is populated with a crippling populace of the noisiest Women Africa ever produced. And we all know that if Nigeria loves You,Africa Loves You. And,ummmm,If Nigeria votes for You,well,You are as good as a winner. I mean,Nigeria’s population is close to 16 Billion. Without counting women and children. And wannabe Movie stars.

7. Anne Kansiime.

Wait…where does Kansiime come from?? Kenya?? Uganda?? Youtube?? I get confused here….

8. Sanaipei Tande.

A woman who has no qualms getting so sensuously semi-nude and amorous in a steamy Music Video is the stuff that BBA is made of. Earlier this Year,Sanaipei blessed us with what I would call accurate fap material; A Music video that depicts her in various stages of undress…that artfully shows her erotic legs…A video that leads her into her bathtub…to show us how she gets down..And lathers that soap allover her titillating self. Surely,If a 3-Minute video could work sooooo much wonders among Kenyan Men,Imagine how 90 days of being in a voyeuristic house would do to ALL AFRICAN MEN. Sana would hog all the Male votes. With those legs….aiiiiiii,She has to!

9. Ephy Saint.

Actor,Model and nudist. Concentrate on the Nudist part. But wait,I am not really sure that would work for him. Africa hates Nudity. But that Body??? Wouldn’t the ladies TOOOOOOTALLY LOVE it?? Hmmmm,I am seriously Not sure how this guy ended up here. Sorry.

10. Victoria Kimani

Miss Vicky is already a huuge name all across Africa. Heck, she even gets name-dropped by top Nigerian singers. And Trust Me,If You are known by the Big Boys of Naija,You are BIG! Bamboo’s little sister is a shocker…From her blue hair to her cultivatedly embellished eyes to her tasteful figure to her fastidious buxom and her scintillating voice,Victoria Kimani would be a sure bet. She’d slay the Men with her absolute sexiness…And win the women with her genuine sweetness. And amiable nature. Give a girl a chance now-o! Go,Vicky,Go!

Eeeeeeeeeeer, that was MY LIST. You had a better one?? Go ahead, share it!

Diamond Accepts Sauti Sol’s Triumph And This Is What He Had To Say

The trending news and story since yesterday is Sauti Sol’s triumph in the MTVEMA Best African Act award in Glasgow, Scotland.

Sauti Sol were in contention with other well artists from Africa, among them Tanzania’s all time best singer Diamond Platinumz and Nigeria’s Davido.

Despite this, the Kenyan group of four triumphed as the best singers from continental Africa, effectively earning Kenya recognition in the music industry.

And Tanzania’s Diamond, the closest rival in the contention had to surrender and say a word for Sauti Sol.

This is what he had to say:

Kenyan Gospel Artist To Do A Collabo With Tanzania Songbird, ROSE MUHANDO

For gospel lovers and haters, Rose Muhando is an household name. She is well known for her captivating hits like Nibebe, Utamu among many others that have taken over the gospel industry by storm.

Rose has risen through the ranks to become among the most revered gospel artists of time. Therefore anybody who gets a chance to do a collabo with her is instantly catapulted to the limelight and above the rest of the musicians.

This can possibly explain why MARYANNE NAIPASOI TUTUMA, who hails from Kajiado and whose songs are more recognised in Tanzania than in Kenya, has looked for Rose Muhando’s support.

Muhando

Maryanne and Rose Muhando

Luckily, the Tanzanian singer warmly welcomed Naipasoi whom they have known each other for quite some time now.

Naipasoi has sang before in Maasai language, Aira Magilani Enkai being her first song.

All we can do is wait for the collabo to ascertain how captivating it will be.

Nation FM’s Sanaipei Tande Accepts Christ

The beautiful Sanaipei Tande has finally seen the light after releasing the steamy video Mfalme wa Mapenzi which caused jitters among critics a fact that saw the video banned from playing on the mainstream media.

Prayers actually do move mountains; who would think that Sanaipei would one day be spreading the gospel and shun secular songs? Well the after Sanaipei stimulated sex in the steamy video Mfalme wa Mapenzi, some folks decided to seek divine intervention to help Sana come out of what was perceived as immorality.

sanash

The folks then took on social media and created the page Sanaipei Tande accepts Jesus Christ in a bid to help the Nation FM presenter turn back to what was morally acceptable. Oops! So it is not actually true that Sana has seen the light?

sanaaaa

Well Sana has not actually turned to Christ per se, at least she hasn’t come out to openly declare that. The Facebook page is just a mock created by anonymous person (s) who wished she would have converted.

Throwback Moments: The Girl Clique “TaTuu” Set For A Major comeback!!

Yesterday i had the rarest chance of bumping onto one member of the Girl group that used to rock our airwaves in the hey days. (Ten years ago) Angela Mwandanda, we had a lengthy tete a tete that revolved around this and that, with the highlight being the awaited comeback of the trio into the music circles.

She disclosed to me that the 3, Angela Ndambuki, Debbie Asila and herself were still tight friends, which dispels allegations that they had outgrown their chemisty..Angela now works with the African Internet group, a twaddle of online shopping platforms that are kicking some serious ass.

So how soon do we expect something from the trio? She was still unable to disclose seeing as it were, it was not within her means to speak for the group without their permission. But if it may interest you, she works really close to Debbie Asila and she actually joked that they wave sporadically from office windows, because phone calls are too mainstream.

I had to go to the archives to get a song that you can listen to before they make a comeback-

I am a socialite par excellence, there is no other socialite with guts that could match up mine, i don’t do drugs i want Kenyans to understand that one can be a socialite and not indulge in drugs….” Socialite Freydah

When i run her story last week, it bore the gory details of her trysts with renown gospel artistes, whom she was exposing as fake and poserish, (posing as holier than thou, yet reeking of evil and filth) Hers was a harrowing account of how one Top artist raped her infecting her with Herpes, Jilted as  she was  she decided to expose everyone that she had had sex with, she  sent me an email with names of the Artists she had erstwhile had flings with.

Her rendition was was embellished with details. I’m still doing a follow up on the same…

Kenya has seen a flurry of artists of late, flocking into the country to do performances, entertain, educate and make money in equal measure.

The latest foreign artist currently in the country is American Hip Hop singer Talib Kweli who is set to perform in the country as from this evening.

Ghafla Kenya caught up with Talib at Sarakasi in Nairobi where he was giving a motivation talk to upcoming hip hop artists and fans in Kenya.

It seems this is a better move by the rapper as Kenyan artists seriously need the motivation.

The Biggest Media House In East and Central Africa Blunders and Later Tables An Apology

Plagiarism is a mal-practice that is highly discouraged in the world and can call for serious legal actions against the offender.

This is why the Daily Nation, Nation Media’s newspaper and which is the most circulated newspaper in the region, has moved quickly to table a detailed apology after using a plagiarised photo which it claimed was taken in some village in the Rift Valley.

In the photo two lambs are captured suckling from a cow, enjoying the rarest of the meals.

ntion

This caused massive outrage from the public that triggered the Daily Nation to apologise for the same.

Here is the apology:

“The Daily Nation issue of Thursday, October 23, 2014, published a picture — on Page 1 in the final edition and in the inside pages in earlier editions — of two lambs suckling a cow.

The picture was purportedly taken the previous day at a farm in Chepkeche village of Uasin Gishu County.

We have since learnt that the picture, taken in New Zealand, was ‘lifted’ from the Internet and submitted to the Daily Nation. Nation Media Group enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy to plagiarism, and therefore appropriate administrative action has been taken against those involved.

We take this early opportunity to apologise to the actual owner of the photo, whom we commend for capturing a most unusual, appealing and heartwarming image. We are sorry for having misled our readers and assure them of improved vigilance to avoid recurrence of such errors.”

nation

This is not the first time the Daily Nation is making such blunders. In 2013, sensitive pictures of the Westgate Mall victims were published in the front page of the nation, leading to Kenyans raging with anger.

This is Why the Fierce Iron Lady “Orie Rogo Manduli” is Trending on Twitter

The woman who cause jitters on the dominant male species has taken twitter by storm following the daring words she was uttering during the power interview with Jeff Koinange on KTN.

She always speaks with a lot of audacity and the vigor in her voice will tell you she means business when she spits her words. If you think Caroline Mutoko is an alpha lady then there is no better word to describe Orie Rogo Manduli; she authoritatively told Jeff that women should discipline their rogue husbands and also revealed that she was once a land lady to Uganda’s president Yuweri Museveni.

The dynamism in Orie’s utterances is the one thing that made Kenyans on twitter to talk a lot about her a thing that has made her be amongst twitter’s top ten trending topics. Check out some interesting comments that guys posted:

What Does Sauti Sol’s MTVEMA Best African Act Win Mean For You and Me?

Our own Sauti Sol are doing great on the global scene, musically, and that, for any noble, loyal person, is a massive achievement.

This is not the first time Sauti Sol are hitting headlines, for the good reasons of course. They have done so before, with swag and in a scintillating manner.

This time round, they have done it in a special way, on a special platform. Winning the MTVEMA Best African Act is no mean feat.

win3

First one needs to understand what it takes to win this prestigious accolade. Start with the number of musicians in Africa. From the ever captivating Nigerians like Davido, Tiwa Savage and Flavour to the Tanzanian great singer Diamond, Sauti Sol managed to overcome to stiff challenge that these artists posed to scoop the award.

That is credible. That is commendable.

win4

The challenges have been intense but our own Sauti Sol managed to manoeuvre through the very murky processes of jostling their way to the very top.

At the top they are.

But what does Sauti Sol’s win mean for Kenyans?

In the simplest of the terms possible, the win means a lot for us.

win1

First, as Kenyans, it shows that we can make bold decisions without necessarily require instructions from anywhere else. Kenyans voted with passion for the group of four and that explains why they scooped the accolade. That was a nice decision from Kenyans.

Second, Sauti Sol’s win is an indication that tribalism and ethnic jingoism are just a creation of a few egocentric, moribund and ineffective individuals who do so to massage their own ego. We can come together as a nation for a common goal as we did when voting for Sauti Sol.

Sauti Sol themselves believed that indeed without minds oriented towards tribalism and ethnic divisions, Kenyans can do great things.

win2

This win also signifies that Kenyan Music has greatly evolved. From the days of the likes of the late Jacob Luseno and the late Kakai Kilonzo, great men who sang with verve and vigour in their days, to this days of Sauti Sol, Elani and many others, Kenyan entertainment industry has grown. This is why SAuti Sol were nominated for this great awards.

Of course this is not the end of everything. Sauti Sol still have one more step to go. The most prestigious of all the accolades: the MTVEMA worldwide best act. They are in for it and only the pessimistic lot can dismiss this group’s ability to win this glamorous award.

sautisol

As we have done before, it is our noble duty to push them through by voting as much as we can. Someone once said that a pot breaks at the doorstep, after you have carefully carried it from the river.

Let our pot not break when we are almost in the house. Keep voting for Sauti Sol.

sol

Their win is our win. In one way or the other, they are selling our country to the outside world.

From State House to the village regions of homeland, let people vote for Sauti Sol, for our winning mojo is still alive.

Kalamashaka Shocked Everyone When They Caused a Stir at Moi Avenue

Dandora’s finest Music group Kalamashaka are back on the limelight all thanks to a fuss that they caused on Moi Avenue; the group all over sudden has become the talk of town following the dreadful incident that they caused.

Love them or hate them one thing for sure they can’t be ignored; they are just too good to be assumed even if they recently released a new song dubbed Moi Avenue depicting the hustles on that particular avenue.

kalash2

Kalamashaka sure shocked everyone as they were shooting their video as on the streets of the city as one dancer who was shaking it down the street way became a centre of attraction as the passing people wondered whether the guy had completely lost it. Anyway Kalamashaka have dropped their new song Moi Avenue; it is a hard hip hop song that appeals best to those hardcore rap lovers. Check the video below:

Ruth Matete Opens Up About The Love Of Her Life

When she first auditioned in between various disappointing acts, Ruth impressed us. Not only because her voice provided sweet relief from some screeching masquerading as singing, but her voice was super impressive.

The kind of voice that ‘hutoa nyoka pangoni’ .We knew that Ruth would be the girl bagging the 5 Million cash prize. And sure enough she bagged the money.

After her win, Ruth was super silent and we wondered if she had taken the path followed by many music competition winners that of getting the money and vamoosing like a thief into the night.

ruth_matete.jpg

But if we knew what she had in store for us we would have been more patient. After releasing her debut single, ‘Mapenzi’ Ruth is back with yet another hot track.

The name: ‘Yamenogea’. She sings of how intense her love with God is and how it  will last forever. His love has remained consistent even when people were against her.You can have a listen below:

This Is All You Need To Know About Kenyans On Twitter (KOT)

Kenyans on Twitter fondly referred to as KOT have become a force to be reckoned with. They are the trend setters, the game changers and the wig snatchers.

KOT is so powerful that it has got influential multi-nationals like CNN apologize for reporting false information.
They have set the funniest trends like #babawhileyouwereaway and have taken a program like Tujuane from Oblivion to stardom. And who can forget their wig snatching? KOT snatch wigs more fiercely that a bunch of angry ghetto girls. No Mercy, no fear and no favor is their policy so woe unto you if you find yourself on the wrong side of KOT!

African social media strategy & digital storytelling consultancy, Nendo has decided to pay homage to this influential force.
They have done this by publishing The A-to-Z of Kenyan Twitter (http://AtoZTwitter.nendo.coke). The digital publication, website and campaign presents 26 of the most important trends, insights and terms from the over 1.5 million Kenyans* on micro-blogging social network Twitter).

Author and Founder of Nendo, Mark Kaigwa highlighted the growth of social media awareness in Kenya that has since sparked international interest. “Estimates show approximately 700,000 Kenyans on Twitter are active each month out of a possible 2 million users in the country. The A-to-Z of Kenyan Twitter celebrates the culture, quirks and characters behind the millions of updates that are shared with the world,” Kaigwa said.

Nendo Ventures created The A-to-Z of African Twitter to meet a  global market need for local context and understanding of African digital society and culture. The publication will serve as a much-needed guide for local, regional and global businesses and brands seeking to connect with Kenyans online. “Whether government,  business or society it is paramount to engage online Kenyan communities from a point of understanding if one wishes to create and derive value,” Mark Kaigwa affirmed.

The A-to-Z of Kenyan Twitter is presented using the 26 letters of the alphabet, each with an accompanying explanation, visual, video and supporting digital material. The publication features Kenyan terminologies, brands and personalities. Notable inclusions present events, television shows, politicians, musicians, athletes and socialites among other featured letters of the alphabet.

“Kenyans on Twitter have long distinguished themselves globally as a community who demonstrate the potential for social media to take topics, trends and stories global. Nendo has taken this indomitable spirit and distilled it to a publication we hope can reflect the culture in Kenya and soon in other African countries,” added author Mark Kaigwa.
Launched online from Nairobi using the hashtag #AtoZofKOT, the publication is presented in spectacular social media form featuring an array of social networks, each highlighting aspects of The A-to-Z of Kenyan Twitter’s in different forms including video, audio, photographs, an animated photo (.gif) and more. Pleasure For Purpose: Billionaire Chris Kirubi Reveals Why Men Should be the One Checking Ladies’ Breasts For Cancer

October being a month of breast cancer awareness, many people have come up with their own version of how well one can detect cancer early enough to treat it but one Chris Kirubi thought out of the box to come up with his own unique strategy.

While Kalekye Mumo was thinking of going topless to raise breast cancer awareness, billionaire Chris Kirubi took a different approach to raise awareness about breast cancer. “A breast is just part of the body and men love feeling the breast of their partners so if doing what they feel naturally pleasurable to do, why can they assist you to save your life if they care. This is not about sex, this is about the welfare of the human being” Chris Kirubi explained to Sharon Mundia as he defended his opinion as why men should be checking ladies breast.

ck yt

So DJ CK believes there can be pleasure for a good purpose; if only men can do it to prevent breast cancer then sure CK’s strategy will work but men being men, it is hard to tell if that approach can ever materialize. Anyway check out the video here:

Angela Angwenyi Makes a Comeback to TV

Could we crown her the queen of entertainment in Kenya? I think yes. I’m referring to sassy radio queen Angwenyi who holds the crown as the most sought after female personality by corporates.

She has tried both radio and TV and hacked it, comfortably. Do you remember her appearing on “Idols” as a judge? Do you remember Ladies First? Those were programs that definitely kept us glued to our TV screens.

She is bound to make a comeback, this time on the all new enthralling Maisha Magic in a show called The Hot Seat. It is bound to air every Monday from 11.30PM with repeats on Tuesday from 3.30PM.

It is basically a show that puts Kenya’s entertainment industry on the spot by profiling all Kenyan celebs drawn from every sector. And you and I know she’s not afraid to get down to the Nitty gritties so this is definitely a must watch.

Strange World: KTN Highlights The Story Of A Man Buried While Sitting Down (Video)

Humans have various ways of sending off their dead. Some like to do it with flamboyance that may include wild partying and feasting.

While others, prefer to send off their loved ones in a solemn, more chilled out way. Others however opt for stranger ways of sending off their dead, from leaving their dead out in the sun for the vultures to feast on to self mummification, the world has seen it all.

In Kenya, people are less dramatic when sending off their loved ones; it is usually a serious affair, where the dead are buried in a straight coffin or cremated. However a theatrical ritual in Luhya-land has left many mouths agape and has become fodder for internet trolls.

KTN highlighted a story where elderly man was buried while sitting down. This took place at Ikolomani, land of bull fighting. The interesting ritual was part of the traditions of the Angusu clan of the Idakho Luhya sub tribe where elders are buried sitting down as a sign of respect and for the dead to watch over his family. This ritual dates back to centuries ago where elders are buried in this way.

The advent of Christianity did not deter this sub-tribe from practicing this ritual with even saved Christians respecting this tradition.

Below is the clip where the 62 year old man was buried in an unconventional casket

Finally THE SURA YAKO KISII VERSION Video Is Ready! See How It Will Look Like

He hit the airwaves and the halls of fame in Kenya when he produced and sang Flavor’s ‘Ashawo’ in Ekegusii, a rendition of the Nigerian singer hit that was banned in the West African state but liked and admired here in Kenya.

Agwata, as the singer is famously known excellently did the song in Ekegusii and that catapulted him to fame. It was the exact version of the original Ashawo hit but this time round done in Ekegusii.

If you ever thought Agwata was done, you are very wrong. He has been silent for a while, yes, but he had every reason to do so.

The singer is back once again, better and captivating than before, with SAUTI SOL’s hit SURA YAKO that has ruled the charts in Kenya for a while now. However, Awata’s is in Ekegusii.

In Ghafla’s “Cabu Gah Diaries”, our writer Cabu Gah revealed the song for the first time and it appears to be a hit like the original Sura Yako.

Here is the song in Kisii:

To make things even better, Agwata is now working for the video of the song and as usual, Ghafla has exclusively acquired some of the scenes from the video.

Here are some of the scenes:

Dance Hall Singer BLAQY Battered By Club Tribeka Bouncer. Find out Why

You may be wondering why, after Ghafla Kenya exclusively revealed that dance hall singer Blaqy will be releasing his song this week, he has not done so.

Indeed Blaqy was destined to release his new ‘Dance Together’ video this week in which we revealed he has featured Messiah, but something horrible happened to the singer on Tuesday evening.

Blaqy is said to have received a token beating from a bouncer that left the singer nursing injuries.

You can imagine a fist of a bouncer landing on someone of Blaqy’s stature! Horrendous, right?

Now the singer has not taken the beating lightly. He has actually recorded a statement with Central Police station and served with an OB which Ghafla Kenya has exclusively had an eye on.

Here is the OB:

Blaqy

The OB

Blaqy has accused the bouncer of assault and those are the charges he has filed against him.

When Ghafla Kenya reached out to the singer for comment, he revealed that the incident occurred after he (Blaqy) had refused to give ‘something’ to the bouncer.

“This guy wanted some money from me before I got into the club but I refused because we are not required to pay anything before going into any club,” Blaqy said.

He adds that the incident began when a certain lady started roughing him up in the club and when he tried warning her, the bouncer landed on him with blows and slaps. He adds that this must have a trap set on him by the bouncer.

One thing that baffles the singer is that the ordeal occurred in front of the glare of cameras and Willy M Tuva, the owner of the every-Tuesday show dubbed Wakilisha east Africa.

On his new video, Blaqy has said that he is finalizing on some issues and it will be out by tomorrow, Friday.

Would Churchill Take Teacher Wanjiku Back? Here Is The Truth

Churchill and Teacher Wanjiku have always been like Lil Wayne & Drake or Bing Crosby & Frank Sinatra or even Barbara Walters & Oprah Winfrey.

Churchill was the mentor to teacher Wanjiku, the man who gave her wings to fly by providing a stage on which she could become great.

And Teacher Wanjiku really became great, booking shows, MCing at the flashiest events and even landing a money-spinning deal with Airtel. Teacher Wanjiku was the Comedian, the alpha, the numero Uno. But somewhere along the way, Teacher Wanjiku left the nest and started a new show on Citizen TV which unfortunately flopped, really badly.

teacher_wanjiku.jpg

And most of us wondered, what is next for Teacher Wanjiku? Would the prodigal daughter return home or would she disappear into thin air and become a distant memory? And most importantly would Churchill welcome the prodigal daughter with open arms after their alleged tiff after Wanjiku left the show.

We called up Churchill’s representative who informed us that contrary to popular belief, Churchill and Wanjiku had not separated in bad blood. Teacher Wanjiku had not even quit Churchill show, she had just taken a break and when she was ready to come back, Churchill would welcome her back just like Eric Omondi.

There you have it ladies and gentlemen ,if Teacher Wanjiku wants to hit our screens she can always go back to the Churchill show. And who knows? Her career could take of like Eric Omondi following his return to the Show.

Robert Alai Takes A Dig On Fellow Bloggers

Robert Alai has turned out to be that proverbial dog that struggled to give birth but ended up eating all its puppies. Or simply a hen that lays eggs and then ravages on them.

The controversial blogger has turned his tantrums on fellow bloggers, however, not all but those who advertised their blogs on newspapers, radio and Television.

According to Alai, such bloggers only serve to cheat the masses and therefore are not trustworthy as they should.

Alai alludes that a good blogger should give scoops and build themselves to have the liking of the masses.

This is what he posted on his twitter account:

alaii

Alai must have keenly observed what some bloggers are doing to gain fame and the liking of the masses. Alai himself is a renowned blogger in Kenya, who creates controversy because of the manner in which he approaches pertinent issues.

Do you agree with Alai that a good blogger should build themselves, not through advertisements but through what they give the masses?

A contemporary rapper-cum-producer hailing from Coast, Wilmot, who recently got back on the scene, drops yet another compelling single causing ripples around the club bangers arena this time representing the African urban hip hop circle with a fresh hit recorded in Taita, Swahili and a bit of slang.

The new track, Naphuya Sena a Taita phrase meaning back again is without a doubt the most authentic form of flow Kenyan rappers are yet to put out there. The unique style of multi-lingua fusion creates a definite rhythm and flow on this hype track that also features rapper, Richie G.

Though a lot has changed in the game since the rapper took a quick hiatus from the game, he is back having re-invented his flow and ready to take over from Voi, Kisumu, to Nairobi with a fresh sound and impeccable style demonstrated in this song. The production credits on the track goes to Adamack of Shadow ville a record label based in the U.S and most definitely the rapper proves his prowess and versatility having deviated a little from the approach used on other tracks featured on his mix tapes, such as Save Me and If I Could, which had borrowed heavily from Indie Rock influences.

As we all know, or so I hope, October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month, an annual campaign that holds an objective to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. In support of healthy boobs Kenyans have been using community based approach to reach out to all females and males. It’s a common belief dudes are not at a risk of getting breast cancer, this is not true so please ‘kill’ that notion and go get them bobbies checked.

Bet You Didn’t Know of Vera Sidika’s Family; Well Here They Are (Photos)

Not much is known about Kenya’s most hyped socialite Vera Sidika but finally light has been illuminated on her family and now everyone will get to see them as well.

So Vera Sidika is married and has a kid as well! Mysteries about this girl never cease to amaze me. Anyway I can tell you that some people are very good at digging up secrets that others spent their precious time hiding; someone did their research and managed to leak a photo of Vera’s hubby and child and for sure her kid has a striking resemblance of her bleached skin.

ve n family

What can you say about that wonderful family picture of father, mother and son? Ok, let us put this prank aside; the picture is a result of a well done photoshop by anonymous person (s). The photo is a manipulation of the previous picture that hit the social media a while ago when it was said Vera’s bleach had gone totally bad.

Vera bleach

Guys just added the kid there and said it was Vera’s family but in reality Vera is still not married nor is she having a kid (not sure though). Anyway it was a well done teaser photo and just depicts how good people are when it comes to photoshop.

Celebrities Making Fun Out of Ebola Is Disgusting. Stop It

The deadly Ebola virus is ravaging West African nations like it has never been seen before in the history of the world. It has grown to become one of the most scary, devastating situation of our time and effectively becoming a global disaster.

From Liberia to America, Ebola, unlike ethnic conflicts that define majority of African communities, has shaken everyone’s nerves. Its short incubation period and the manner in which it attacks victims makes it deadly than anything else.

But it seems some people are trying to make a name out of this deadly disease, oblivious of the irritation they cause.

ebolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

From Kenya to the outside world, celebrities are enjoying making fun out of the Ebola disaster.

Ghafla Kenya looks at some of the celebrities who have in one way or the other made fun out of Ebola.

We start from our own. Nairobi senator, MIKE MBUVI SONKO is the latest celebrity and public figure in Kenya to make fun out of the deadly disease.

sonko11

In one of his Facebook posts, Sonko posted that for the last two weeks he has been feeling unwell, probably because of what he believes is the Ebola he acquired from The Hague. Here is the post:

Sonko

Within our boundaries still, an actress in one of the local comedy shows was heard making a joke about the Ebola disease. In the social comedy show programme, The Real House-Helps of Kawangware, aired on KTN, the actress was asked, “Uko serious?” and the answer was “Kama Ebola”.

Away from home, legendary Congolese singer Kofi Olomide has found himself on the wrong side of the law after he branded himself ‘Vieux Ebola’, a French term which translates to Old Ebola.

In short, Kofi Olomide calls himself Old Ebola, a word he has coined and is now using in advertisements for his shows.

olomide

Kofi Olomide

However, this landed him in trouble with the Congolese police who summoned him for questioning over the use of the term Ebola. The Congolese government felt that Olomide is fighting global efforts to eradicate Ebola.

The legendary singer was released after he agreed to pull down the advertisement which looked provocative.

Another American actor was seen making a joke out of the disease and he effectively coined the word Fearbola to explain the nature of the deadly virus.

Now these and many more are some of the situations in which celebrities have made fun out of Ebola.

ebola

However, it is now turning out to be very disgusting, appalling and uncalled for, to say the least. This is not the time to be making fun out of Ebola. It is time to stand with the victims of the virus. After all, no one is safe.
