Upon reading the ‘rude’ and ‘arrogant’ letter sent to MPs and Senators , Kenyans immediately realized that the politicians were just mad because Monica was an upright employee who did not want to engage in crooked activities.

Part of the ‘offensive’ letter sent to MPS reads “The Hon. Members of Parliament and Senators have time and again been visiting my office and making requests to have officers serving in this ministry, namely Field Administrative officers as well as uniformed officers appointed, transferred or retained in specific stations across the country.

I wish to indicate that honoring such requests poses a huge challenge, in unsustainable and would in some cases constitute a breach of the Civil Service Code of Regulations, the provisions of the constitution as well as policy frameworks.

In the light of this, I address this letter to you to request that you kindly inform the Honorable MPs and Senators about this challenge and reassure them the management of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government is committed to observe the procedures and fair administrative action as it relates to all staff within the confines of the law and laid down ”

Edith Kimani finally bid KTN bye after 6 years at the station, and as reported by Ghafla! Kenya, the TV siren is headed to Germany to work with TV Deutshe Welle (DW-TV).

Well, Edith will be based in East Africa but first, she had to fly out to Germany to formalize everything before she gets into office.

And now the anchor has safely landed in Berlin Germany where she has shared photos of the European city from.

It is understood that Edith is in Germany for training and several other formalities before she returns back to Kenya to correspond for the TV station.

Edith joins a bandwagon of other Kenyan journalists who have flown out to Germany to work with the station. Among them include former KBC presenters Caro Robi and Jacob Mugoya who work Radio Deutshe Welle.

It was in the morning of April 1^st when the country woke up to disturbing news that gunmen had attacked Garissa University College.

What transpired is just unmentionable. At the end of the day, 147 people were pronounced death after shooting from the Al Shabaab terrorists.

And as survivors continue to recuperate from the horrible incident, help has come from Germany.

300 students who survived the attack have been awarded one year scholarships by Germans through a German exchange programme called DAAD.

Through the needs basis criteria, the students will be assisted academically as they regain themselves to push on with their goals.

Survivors of the attack have already joined Moi University in Eldoret where they are catching up with the rest.

Nyeri County has been in the headlines recently for all the wrong reasons. In less than a week, two men are the subject of discussion all over the republic after their wives chopped off their genitals.

The two incidences have badly portrayed how men are suffering in their homes at the hands of their sweethearts.

This has prompted a heated discussion across the country, with many castigating the unnatural acts portrayed by this perverted women who find ‘solace’ in hurting their men below their belts.

The latest to condemn the unfortunate happenings is Igembe South MP Mithika Lintuli. Speaking in parliament, Lintuli wondered why women are chopping off their men’s genitals when it is something they enjoy every time.

His words were full of humour but at the end of the day the message was home.
